        기업의 가족 친화적 문화와 아버지의 자녀양육 참여

        본 연구는 23개 기업에서 일하는 237명의 아버지들을 대상으로 하여, 기업의 가족 친화적 정책에 대한 인식 및 사용 현황을 알아보았다. 또한, 경로분석 모형을 사용하여 기업의 가족 친화적 문화가 아버지들의 자녀양육 참여에 미치는 직접적인 영향과 일-가족 갈등을 매개로 하는 간접적인 영향을 검증하였다. 기업의 가족 친화적 문화에는 아버지들이 인지하는 가족 친화적 정책의 수, 가족 친화적 조직 분위기, 그리고 아버지들의 주당 근무시간이 포함되었다. 수집된 자료는 SAS 9.1 프로그램과 M-plus 5.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 아버지들은 가족 친화적 정책 중 자녀 성장지원제도, 무급 휴가제도, 그리고 육아휴직제도를 가장 많이 시행되고 있다고 인식하였다. 하지만, 아버지들이 가족 친화적 정책을 인식하고 있더라도 실제 정책을 사용하는 정도는 매우 낮게 나타났다. 아버지들이 느끼는 일-가족 갈등이 가족 친화적 조직 분위기 및 아버지의 주당 근무 시간과 자녀 양육 참여 정도와의 관계를 매개하는지 분석한 결과, 일-가족 갈등이 이들의 관계를 부분적으로 매개하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 아버지들이 근무하는 기업의 조직 분위기가 가족 친화적일수록 아버지들의 일-가족 갈등이 낮아지고, 일-가족 갈등이 낮을수록 자녀 양육에 좀 더 참여하는 경향을 보였다. 또한 아버지들의 근무 시간이 적을수록 그들이 느끼는 일-가족 갈등이 낮아지고, 일-가족 갈등이 낮을수록 자녀 양육에의 참여가 증가하였다. The purpose of this study is to understand family friendliness of Korean companies and its direct and indirect influence on paternal involvement in child care. For this purpose, we first explored family-friendly policies of 23 Korean companies reported by 237 fathers as well as the actual usage of those policies. In addition, we prepared path analysis model to examine direct influence of family friendly workplace culture on paternal involvement and mediating effect of work-family conflict on the relationship between family-friendly workplace culture and paternal involvement. Family-friendly workplace culture includes family-friendly polices, family supportive work environment and father's weekly working hours. SAS 9.1 program and M-plus 5.0 program was applied to analyze the data. According to the descriptive analysis, Korean fathers recognized only few family-friendly policies of their companies. Financial support for child rearing, unpaid leave policy, and parental leave policy were the most frequently recognized policies. Although fathers knew about family-friendly policies, they rarely used those policies, and the actual usage rate of family-friendly polices was very low. The result from the path analysis showed that number of family-friendly policies recognized by fathers and fathers' weekly working hours directly influenced paternal involvement in child care. In addition, fathers' work-family conflict was partially mediating the relationship between family supportive work environment and paternal involvement, and between fathers' working hours and paternal involvement.

        애니메이션 주토피아에 나타난 문화의 역할: Pop-Culture References와 Easter Eggs 1 를 중심으로

        The aim is to examine what role culture can play in movies and to describe what culture stands for from an L2 learners’ point of view. Roell (2010) has made a list of movies, suggesting 33 movies which she considers to be suitable for intercultural training. Academic societies emphasize categorical culture types to enhance cultural awareness and knowledge. However, many EFL college students tend to focus on superficial culture. In this paper, the American animation Zootopia (Howard & Moore, 2016) was analyzed to see what role culture can play. Four scenes were selected. The first was a satire on an American government administration, the Department of Motor Vehicles, which is notorious for its terrible service. The second contained pop-culture references. Zootopia borrowed an authoritative image from the movie The Godfather (Coppola, 1972). The third was about Easter eggs. Zootopia borrowed one scene from the animation Frozen (Buck & Lee, 2013). In the fourth scene, Doug played the chemistry teacher’s role from the American drama, Breaking Bad. This was another Easter egg. We are sure that most Korean college level students enjoy learning about pop-culture references and finding Easter eggs, even though they are very superficial in terms of cultural knowledge. It is also apparent that they learn the L2 implicitly.

        일차성 부갑상선 기능항진증 환자에서 수술 중 부갑상선 호르몬 측정 없이 시행한 최소 침습 부갑상선 절제술의 경험

        Purpose: The aim of this retrospective study was to analyze the outcomes of minimally invasive parathyroidectomy without an intraoperative i-PTH test for the patients with primary hyperparathyroidism. Methods: We analyzed a total of 179 patients with sporadic primary hyperparathyroidism and who underwent parathyroidectomy at ASAN Medical Center between February 1996 and September 2007. Minimally invasive parathyroidectomy without an intraoperative i-PTH test was performed in 75 patients under the guidance of a preoperative localization study that suggested the presence of single gland disease. Bilateral exploration was performed in 70 patients and unilateral exploration was performed in 34 patients. Results: The success rate of minimally invasive parathyroidectomy without an intraoperative i-PTH test was 98.7%. Postoperative persistent hyperparathyroidism developed in only 1 patient among the 75 patients. The frequency of postoperatively confirmed single gland disease and multigland disease was 92.8% (166 patients) and 7.2% (13 patients), respectively. However, for most of the patients with multiglandular disease (11/13 cases, 84.5%), the possibility of multiglandular disease could be predicted by a preoperative localization study and these patients were excluded from the candidates for performing minimally invasive parathyroidectomy without an intraoperative i-PTH test. For cases that the preoperative localization study suggested single lesion, the frequency of multiglandular disease in those patients who underwent bilateral exploration was relatively low (2.7%, 1/38 cases). Conclusion: Selected patients with primary hyperparathyroidism can be successfully managed with minimally invasive parathyroidectomy and without an intraoperative i-PTH test when the preoperative localization study suggests the presence of single gland disease. However, careful evaluation of the preoperative localization study is mandatory to minimize the failure rate of minimally invasive parathyroidectomy without an intraoperative i-PTH test.

        익산 귀금속 산업의 현황과 발전 방안

        우리나라의 귀금속 산업은 정부 주도 사업으로 인하여 어느 나라보다 빠르게 발전하였다. 특히 익산 귀금속 산업은 1975년 ‘귀금속 산업단지’라는 정부 주도 사업으로 시작되면서 다양한 대량생산 시스템을 위한 주조기계의 개발과 공정개선으로 급속도로 발전하였고, 우리나라 귀금속 산업의 주축을 이루었다. 그러나 1990년대 정부의 수입자유화, 귀금속 산업에 대한 지역제한을 풀게 되고, IMF 등 다양한 시대적 과정을 겪으면서 익산 귀금속 산업은 침체시기를 맞게 된다. 본 연구는 우리나라 귀금속 산업의 일반적인 발전 과정에 대한 이해와 함께 익산 귀금속 산업의 발전 과정과 현황 등을 조사, 정리하였다. 또한 익산 귀금속 산업의 다방면의 침체 요인 분석을 통한 첫째, 산· 학·연 연계 시스템 구축 둘째, 도금 및 품질인증 시스템 구축 셋째, 집적화 단지의 명확한 역할 부여 등의 발전 방안을 제시함으로써, 익산의 귀금속 산업이 우리나라 귀금속 산업의 역사적 가치에 대한 재고와 함께 익산의 산업의 중심으로써 자리매김할 수 있는 가능성을 알아보았다. Korea s precious metal industry has developed faster than any other country due to government-led projects. In particular, the Iksan precious metal industry started as a government-led project called ‘Precious Metals Industrial Complex’ in 1975 and rapidly developed through the development of casting machines for various mass production systems and process improvement, forming the main axis of Korea’s precious metal industry. However, as the government s import liberalization in the 1990s, the lifting of regional restrictions on the precious metal industry, and the IMF and other various historical processes, the Iksan precious metal industry entered a period of stagnation. This study investigates and organizes the development process and current status of the precious metal industry in Iksan, along with an understanding of the general development process of the precious metal industry in Korea. In addition, by presenting development plans such as first, establishment of industry-university-research linkage system, establishment of plating and quality certification system, and third, provision of a clear role for the Iksan precious metal industry through analysis of various factors of stagnation in the precious metal industry in Iksan, the precious metal industry of Iksan The possibility of establishing itself as the center of the industry in Iksan was investigated along with a reconsideration of the historical value of the precious metal industry in Korea.

        생쥐 Preantral 난포의 체외배양: FSH의 종류와 농도 및 초자화 냉동보존의 영향

        Objectives: 1) To compare the efficacy of urofollitropin (Follimon) to that of recombinant human FSH (rhFSH) on the growth and maturation of mouse early preantral follicles in vitro, and 2) effect of vitrification on the growth and maturation of preantral follicles and oocytes . Methods: Isolated early preantra1 follicles (100-130 ${\mu}m$ diameter) were cultured for 12 days in 20 ${\mu}l$ ${\alpha}$-MEM media drop under the mineral oil. Follimon or rhFSH was added to the culture medium at various concentrations (0, 10, 100, and 1000 mIU/ml). Results: With Follimon, the dose of 10 mIU/ml showed the best follicle survival, growth, and MIl rate of oocyte than the other concentrations. Whereas the optimal dose of rhFSH was 100 mIU/ml. Despite the different optimal doses, the efficacy of two different FSHs on the follicle growth and maturation was similar. Isolated mouse preantral follicles were cryopreserved by vitrification and cultured in vitro for 12 days with 100 mIU/ml rhFSH. Despite the decreased follicular survival rate after thawing, the follicular growth and maturation rate of its oocyte were comparable to those of the fresh follicle. Conclusion: Results from the present study revealed that 1) the optimal doses of Follimon and rhFSH for in-vitro culture of mouse follicles are different, and 2) the frozen-thawed follicles develop normally after vitrification.
