        Characterization of changes in global gene expression in the hearts and kidneys of transgenic mice overexpressing human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2

        Human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (hACE2) has recently received a great attention due to it play a critical role as SARS-CoV receptor in the infection of human body. However, no further analysis for gene regulation has been performed in target tissues of model mice during hACE2 overproduction. To characterize changes in global gene expression in the hearts and kidneys of rtTA/hACE2 double transgenic (dTg) mice in response to hACE2 overexpression, total RNA extracted from these tissues from dTg mice after doxycycline (Dox) treatment was hybridized to oligonucleotide microarrays. Briefly, dTg mice were generated by cross-mating pα-MHC/rtTA Tg mice with pTRE/hACE2 Tg mice. The expression level of hACE2 protein was determined to be high in hearts, kidneys, and brains of dTg mice, whereas lung, liver, and testis tissues expressed low levels. The level of hACE2 was significantly enhanced in hearts and kidneys of the Dox+dTg group compared to that in Vehicle+dTg mice although consistent levels of mouse ACE2 (mACE2) remained in the same tissues. Based on the microarray analysis of heart tissue, 385 genes were differentially expressed, including 168 upregulated and 217 downregulated, when comparing non-Tg and Vehicle+dTg mice, whereas 216 genes were differentially expressed, including 136 upregulated and 80 downregulated, between Vehicle+dTg and Dox+dTg mice. In the kidneys, 402 genes were differentially expressed, including 159 upregulated and 243 downregulated, between non-Tg and Vehicle+dTg mice. Dox-treated dTg mice exhibited the differential expression of 4735 genes including 1636 upregulated and 3109 downregulated. Taken together, these findings suggested that several functional groups and individual genes can be considered biomarkers that respond to hACE2 overexpression in dTg mice. Moreover, our results provided a lot of useful information to predict physiological responses when these dTg mice are applied as a susceptible model for novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV, COVID-19) in both vaccine and drug development.

        『天理本狂言六義』에 나타나는 추량표현 - 조동사「べし」를 중심으로 -

        This study discusses usage patterns of べし in terms of its conjugational forms and semantic usages observed in “Tenribon Kyougenrikugi”, the late Middle Ages colloquial data, in order to clarify the process of change of べし. Results of the discussion are as follows. First, as for the conjugational forms, the Shuushikei べし shows the highest appearance followed by the Rentaikei べき and further by the Mizenkei べから. The Renyoukei べく and the Izenkei べけれ are not found. As the time passed, the frequency of the use of べし decreased, whereas べき increased. The increased use of べき was in particular deemed to be caused by the ‘unification of the Shuushikei and Rentaikei’, which began occurring from the late Middle Age. The current study also found two cases whereべき was used as Shuushikei instead of べし. Second, in terms of semantic usages, it was used in the order of [Suitability · Suggestion · Order] - [Guess], [Naturalness · Necessity] - [Will] - [Possibility] - [Prohibition]. It is thought that [Suitability · Suggestion · Order] was used frequently for the reason that the script did not clearly differentiate dialogues and narratives, and it also described actions of performers and stage productions together within the overall scenario. Third, the main semantic usage of べからず was [Prohibition], and the semantic meaning of [Prohibition] was manifested only by べからず. From this, it is deemed that the limited use of べからず for [Prohibition] continued to Modern Japanese while other meanings of べからず declined since the Middle Ages.

        가상 개념을 적용한 해양분야 공간 환경 디자인에 관한 연구-SD 분석법을 이용한 국내외 사례의 조사 중심으로-

        연구배경 사람들의 삶의 지속적인 진보는 지속적인 디자인 혁신을 요구한다. 많은 공간 디자인에서 이미 새로운 디자인 수단으로 공간을 꾸몄으며, 최근 들어 특히 가상 개념을 중심으로 한 공간 디자인이 꾸준히 등장하면서 좋은 반응을 얻고 있다. 해양 분야의 공간 역시 혁신이 필요하기 때문에 가상 개념의 공간 디자인에 대한 이해와 활용에 대한 조사를 통해 해양 분야의 공간 환경 디자인에 가상 개념을 적용하여 해양 공간 설계를 풍부하고 혁신할 수 있도록 연구한다. 연구방법 본 연구는 가상개념에 대한 이해를 통해 가상개념의 요소를 제안함으로써 서로 다른 요소들 간에 서로 다른 영향을 미치게 된다. 또 SD 분석법을 활용해 국내외 선행 사례 분석을 토대로 해양 분야 공간 환경에서 가상 개념을 활용한 설계 법칙을 요약했다. 연구결과 SD연구로 데이터를 분석한 결과 해양분야 공간환경에서 가상개념을 적용하고 형과 색의 법칙을 따르고 있음을 알 수 있다.환각적이고 모순적인 존재와 함께 평면적이고 모순적인 이용에 주의한다. 결론 결론적으로, SD분석법을 이용한 조사데이터는 각 사례의 장단점 및 요소별 중요도를 직관적으로 알 수 있으며, 본 연구의 분석에서는 가상 개념의 수변공간 설계에서 환각성과 모순성은 필연적이지만 평면성과 융합성은 향상되어야 함을 알 수 있다.

        Enhancing User Experience: A Study of Interaction Design in Coastal Public Spaces

        n modern society, people's lives are constantly accelerating and digitalisation is deepening its influence, transforming the world into a 'digital planet'. Coastal public spaces are an important part of urban environments characterised by a high degree of spatial permeability. They serve as open urban areas that blend ecological systems with man-made elements. However, coastal space development is often neglected. Furthermore, interaction design, while capable of meeting public needs, is not taken seriously in space design. Therefore, in order to design spaces that fulfil the needs of the users, the study focuses on the design of coastal urban public spaces and presents a design philosophy for interaction design in coastal areas. It refered to relevant interdisciplinary theories and national and international research findings as the basis for this research, and undertook a comprehensive range of activities such as detailed analysis, organisation and research. The study analyzed the issues that need to be addressed in research on the design of urban coastal public spaces, with the aim of establishing a verifiable and rational set of design methods and strategies for future guidance in practice. The aim is to understand the principles of applying interaction design to coastal public spaces and present application strategies for interaction design in coastal public spaces. Based on the understanding of the concepts of interaction design and coastal space, the author grasped the relevant research trends, and then based on the research space. Building on the methods and principles proposed, it presents several feasible strategies from the perspectives of people, environment and facilities. These strategies include the 'Functional Clarity Strategy', the 'Universal Facility Strategy', the 'Ecological Priority Strategy' and the 'Environmental Experience Strategy', which will guide and support future interaction design efforts in coastal public spaces.

        학업소진척도(MBI-SS) 타당화 연구

        본 연구는 외국에서 개발된 학업소진척도(MBI-SS)의 국내 타당화를 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 의과대학 재학생들(4개 학년, 총 382명)을 대상으로 학업소진 설문지를 실시하고 신뢰도 및 타당도를 확인하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과 3개의 하위요인(정서적 고갈, 무능력감, 냉소성), 총 14문항(정서적 고갈 5문항, 무능력감 5문항, 냉소성 4문항)이 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 요인구조 모델이 적합한지 확인하기 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 3요인 모형이 적절함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 각각의 하위요인이 적절한 신뢰도를 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 학업소진 척도는 우울과 정적상관을, 학업효능감과는 부적상관을 갖는 것으로 나타나 적절한 타당도를 지니고 있음이 확인되었다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다. The MBI-SS (Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey) Scales were validated using 382 medical students who were attending a university in Seoul. Exploratory factor analysis yielded 3 factors with 14 items (5 items in exhaustion, 5 items in inefficacy, and 4 items in cynicism). After EFA, the hypothesized model was verified by confirmatory factor analysis, and the model was found in the good fit. Each factor also produced adequate internal consistency. Finally, it was found that factor-derived scale scores were related to scores on a measure of CES-D (The Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression) Scale, negatively related to academic efficacy. Significances and implications of the study were discussed.

        도시 수변공간의 색채 사용특징에 관한 연구 - 부산광역시를 중심으로

        The aim of this study is to provide reference materials for waterfront space differentiation from the existing waterfront space color design theory. In the course of the research, waterfront space is the object of study, and the color design is centered on the color design, which enriches the beauty and uniqueness of the urban environment, and provides new insights for the color design method of waterfront space. In this research process, we first use the methods of network data retrieval and documentation to investigate and explain the understanding of urban color, the influencing factors of urban color, the composition and function of urban color. Then, the identification function, aesthetic function and economic function are determined, and the evaluation indexes of waterfront color analysis are obtained from time extension, space expansion, technology age and place function. Combined with the above rational analysis and the deficiency of waterfront color design, the paper analyzes the samples of 4 different waterfront color in Busan by field investigation method. According to the color samples, the main colors of the waterfront space in Busan are orange and red, blue and blue, blue, blue, and blue, blue in high brightness and high color. In addition, based on road pavement, flowers, night view lighting, and the colors of public facilities in the waterfront space of Busan Metropolitan City, four different functional zones were re-chromaticized. This study found that based on urban spatial color design and reflection problems, combined with the existing understanding of urban color theory, try to solve the problems in design implementation. Based on the basic characteristics of 4 urban color components, 3 urban color functions and 4 urban colors, the research process combines the uniqueness and lack of innovation, popular style and urban image. It is hoped that more comprehensive functional division will be formed in color research in the future, and the corresponding theoretical basis will be studied.
