        "단편소설집의 사이클"로서 단 리의『옐로우』연구

        In this paper, I`ll try to read Don Lee`s Yellow intertextually with a more canonical text, Sherwood Anderson`s Winesburg, Ohio, in order to see what kind of traditions and techniques Yellow references and/or rewrites as a way of tracking this production. Yellow`s formal properties as a short story cycle are established through its use of particular conventions. For instance, Yellow follows the short story cycle model that includes the assemblage of recurring characters into one locale. Yellow`s characters are all connected to and at some point located in the fictional small town of Rosarita Bay, California. The text form aligns it with established literary conventions and traditions and suggests the author`s reliance upon or trust in those modes. Yellow`s setting in a small town alludes to and has often been compared to Anderson`s Winesburg, Ohio, which is perhaps one of the most well-known and extensively discussed short story cycles in American literature. Also following convention is Lee`s construction of Rosarita Bay and the text`s third person narrator as a member of that town. Both Rosarita Bay and the narrator become important figures through the related-tale nature of the text. The method of story-telling is similar to how the town Winesburg and its "seemingly sympathetic and non-overtly judgmental" narrator are operational in Anderson`s text. In sum, Yellow is opportune for intertextual reading largely because it is a collection of stories that create a linked series.

      • 능동형 박막 광도파로 칼슘 이온 센서의 개발

        고분자 이온 감응막을 광도파로로 이용한 새로운 형태의 센서소자를 제작하여 칼슘이온의 농도 변화에 따른 그 특성을 평가하였다. 광도파로 소자는 실리카 유리기판에 기존의 반도체 사진식각법 (photolitho-graphy)을 이용하여 도파로가 형성되어질 부분을 에칭한 후 감지막을 스핀코팅법으로 코팅하여, 그 자체를 도파로로 이용한 고속 응답의 새로운 형태의 센서소자를 제작하였다. 도파로로 사용된 감지막은 칼슘이온에 대해 특이성을 가지는 변색성 이온감응물질인 ETH5294, 중성이온감응물질인 K23El, anionic site인 NaTm(CF/sub 3/)/sub 2/PB, 가소제인 DOP 및 PVC-PVAC-PVA 폴리머를 THF 용매에 녹여 스핀 코팅법으로 제작하였다. 여러 가지 변수에 따른 센서의 특성을 평가하기 위하여 도파로의 두께(즉, 감지막의 두께), 변색성 이온감응물질의 농도, 각 모드 변화에 따른 센서의 감응특성을 비교 평가하였다. 제작된 센서는 칼슘이온에 대해 1×10­6∼1M의 측정 범위를 가지며, 1×10­⁴∼1×10­¹M 영역에서 선형성을 가지며, 기존의 광학적 측정 방법인 분광분석법에 비해 높은 감도를 나타냄을 확인하였다. A new functional organic thin film optical waveguide ion sensor is designed, which can select a specific ion, i.e., $Ca^{2+}$ -ion. The sensing membrane was composed of PVC-PVAC-PVA copolymer matrix based on anionic cation-selective chromoionophor(ETH5294), neutral ionophore(K23El), anionic site and plasticizer and it was coated on the etched glass substrate as embeded type optical waveguide itself. The sensor sensitivity dependence on waveguide length and thickness, contence of chromoionophore, and each mode was investigated. And this sensor could detect $Ca^{2+}$ ion in concentrations ranging from 1$\times$10­6~1M(with 0.05M tris-HCI buffer solution of pH7.4) by measuring the absorbance change at 514nm of light. Utilizing thin film membrane, the fast response time and high sensitivity are obtained. Also, it is expected that this sensor can be applied to various biochemical important ions.ons.

        소산장 흡수를 이용한 박막 광도파로형 칼륨이온센서

        A thin film optical waveguide sensor has been developed to measure and analyze quantitatively some inherent optical properties of biochemical substances. In this paper, two different kinds of thickness of thin film waveguide were prepared by RF sputtering of Corning-7059 glass(n = 1.588 at λ = 514nm, Ar laser) on Pyrex glass substrates. We made a sensing membrane coated on the thin film waveguide with the polyvinyl chloride-co-vinyl acetate-co-vinyl alcohol) ( 91 : 3 : 6 ) copolymer membrane based on H^+ -selective chromoionophore and K^+ -selective neutral ionophore and then proposed the thin film opptical waveguide ion sensor which can select a potassium ion. This sensor based on the absorbance change by utilizing chromoionophore and neutral ionophore, which changes their absorption spectrum in the UV-vis region upon complexation of the corresponding ionic species, have been reported. The sensitivity dependence of the proposed sensor on interaction length, waveguide thickness, and content of a chromoionophore was investigated. This sensor has the measurement range of 10^(-6) M∼IM for K^+ concentration and 90% response time of duration within 1 min. Also, our thin film optical waveguide sensor using the evanescent field was investigated as compared with conventional transmission sensor or optode sensor by the optical fiber. The sensitivity of thin-film waveguide K` sensor is higher than that of the conventional transmission sensor. The proposed sensor is expected to be useful to biochemical, medical, environmental inspection and so on.

        표적 SAR 시뮬레이션 영상을 이용한 식별 성능 분석

        Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)영상은 날씨와 주야에 관계없이 취득될 수 있어 감시, 정찰 및 국토안보 등의 목적을 위한 자동표적인식(Automatic Target Recognition, ATR)에 활용 가능성이 높다. 그러나, 식별 시스템 개발을 위해 다양하고 방대한 양의 시험영상을 구축하는 것은 비용, 운용측면에서 한계가 있다. 최근 표적 모델을 이용하여 시뮬레이션된 SAR 영상에 기반한 표적 식별 시스템 개발에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. SARATR 분야에서 대표적으로 이용되는 산란점 매칭과 템플릿 매칭 기반 알고리즘을 적용하여 표적식별을 수행하였다. 먼저 산란점 매칭 기반의 식별은 점을 World View Vector (WVV)로 재구성 후 Weighted Bipartite Graph Matching (WBGM)을 수행하였고, 템플릿 매칭을 통한 식별은 서로 인접한 산란점으로 재구성한 두 영상간의 상관계수를 사용하였다. 개발한 두 알고리즘의 식별성능시험을 위해 최근 미국 Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)에서 배포한 표적 시뮬레이션 영상인 Synthetic and Measured Paired Labeled Experiment (SAMPLE) 자료를 사용하였다. 표준 환경, 표적의 부분 폐색, 랜덤 폐색 정도에 따른 알고리즘 성능을 분석하였다. 산란점 매칭 알고리즘의 식별 성능이 템플릿 매칭보다 전반적으로 우수하였다. 10개 표적을 대상으로 표준 환경에서의 산란점 매칭기반 평균 식별률은 85.1%, 템플릿 매칭기반은 74.4%이며, 표적별 식별성능 편차 또한 산란점 매칭기법이 템플릿 매칭기법보다 작았다. 표적의 부분 폐색정도에 따른 성능은 산란점 매칭기반 알고리즘이 템플릿 매칭보다 약 10% 높고, 표적의 랜덤 폐색 60% 발생에도 식별률이 73.4% 정도로 비교적 높은 식별성능을 보였다. As Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image can be acquired regardless of the weather and day or night, it is highly recommended to be used for Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) in the fields of surveillance, reconnaissance, and national security. However, there are some limitations in terms of cost and operation to build various and vast amounts of target images for the SAR-ATR system. Recently, interest in the development of an ATR system based on simulated SAR images using a target model is increasing. Attributed Scattering Center (ASC) matching and template matching mainly used in SAR-ATR are applied to target classification. The method based on ASC matching was developed by World View Vector (WVV) feature reconstruction and Weighted Bipartite Graph Matching (WBGM). The template matching was carried out by calculating the correlation coefficient between two simulated images reconstructed with adjacent points to each other. For the performance analysis of the two proposed methods, the Synthetic and Measured Paired Labeled Experiment (SAMPLE) dataset was used, which has been recently published by the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). We conducted experiments under standard operating conditions, partial target occlusion, and random occlusion. The performance of the ASC matching is generally superior to that of the template matching. Under the standard operating condition, the average recognition rate of the ASC matching is 85.1%, and the rate of the template matching is 74.4%. Also, the ASC matching has less performance variation across 10 targets. The ASC matching performed about 10% higher than the template matching according to the amount of target partial occlusion, and even with 60% random occlusion, the recognition rate was 73.4%.

        특정가치의 정관사와 지시형용사

        L``objectif de ce travail est d``observer les emplois de l``article defini et de l``adjectif demonstratif ayant une valeur specifique, pour en degager leurs differences fonctionnelles. Beaucoup de linguistes essaient de les expliquer a l``aide des notions anaphore et dexis. Et comme ces determinants font identifier un referent mentionne dans le contexte ainsi qu``un referent situe dans la situation d``enonciation, les linguistes disent qu``ils fonctionnent a la fois anaphoriquement et deictiquement. Mais si ce jugement est vrai, on n``aura plus besoin de les regarder sous cette optique, car on n``y trouvera pas de differences. Le role de l``article defini et de l``adjectif demonstratif est de determiner le nom combine, et non pas identifier le referent. C``est l``expression combinee le N ou ce N qui renvoie au referent en question. Le nom revele la classe du referent et ces determinants l``aident pour qu``il trouve un referent particulier. En d``autres termes, ils impliquent les conditions de l``identification : l``article defini demande a l``allocutaire de trouver un referent deja connu alors que l``adjectif demonstratif presente un referent nouveau que l``allocutaire doit trouver. Pour reconnaitre un referent connu, l``allocutaire n``a qu``a identifier, dans le contexte ou dans la situation d``enonciation, ce qui leur est saillant. Par contre, pour connaitre un referent nouveau, l``allocutaire doit raisonner en tenant compte du contexte ou de la situation d``enonciation. Leur opposition fonctionnelle comme reconnaitre et connaitre nous rappelle l``opposition de l``anaphore et de la deixis : un anaphorique designe un referent connu et un deictique renvoie a un referent nouveau. Bien que ces determinants ne servent pas directement a designer le referent, si l``on considere les conditions d``identification qu``ils presentent, l``article defini correspond a l``anaphore et l``adjectif demonstratif a la deixis.

        무균조제 항암제 취급의 안전관리

        Most antineoplastic agents are nonselective in their mechanism of action, affecting noncancerous as well as cancerous cells, and resulting in acute effects such as irritation of mucous membranes and chronic effects such as genotoxicity, teratogenicity, and carcinogenicity. Healthcare workers occupationally exposed to antineoplastic agents are at risk. The present study aimed to develop and apply methods to monitor occupational exposure to antineoplastic agents, using cyclophosphamide (CP) as the model compound. To monitor environmental and biological exposure, potentially contaminated surfaces were wiped and 24 hour urine samples were collected from workers. Liquid chromatography combined with tandem mass spectrometry was performed, with a limit of detection of 0.05 ng/ml. Measurable amounts of CP were detected on 92% of the sampled surfaces, with a geometric mean of 175.22 ng/m2. Despite the environmental contamination of the model compound, CP was below the detection limit in all urine samples. If workplace contamination cannot be completely avoided, it is importance to reduce exposure to the lowest possible levels. To this aim, efforts to minimize occupational exposure along with biological and environmental monitoring are required. The standardized sampling techniques, and specific and sensitive analytical methods reported in this study may be helpful in assessing occupational exposure and devising strategies to reduce exposure.
