        C Gas Sensors Operating at Relatively Low Temperature

        SnO2/Pt CO gas sensors operating at relatively low temperature were fabricated, and their performance characteristics were measured. When the mixing weight ratio of SnO2/Pt was 99.5/0.5, a good sensitivity to CO gas was obtained. And the experimental results were in consistent with the gas sensing model. The optimum operating, temperature range of the fabricated devices was 50-80\ulcorner and the response time was 15 sec. at 80\ulcorner in 1000 ppm CO ambient. The humidity dependence of sensitibity to CO gas could be reduced by adding hydrophokbic silica to the mixture of SnO2 and Pt. For the practical application of the fabricated devices, a CO gas alarming system has been developed.

        SnOx/Pt 薄膜 가스感知素子의 製造 및 그 感知特性

        $SnO_X$/Pt 薄膜형 가스感知素子의 製造하고 그 특성을 결정하였다. $SnO_X$/Pt 薄膜은 $SnO_2$에 Pt를 重量比로 2% 섞은 표적을 電子량 加熱승치法으로 形成하였다. 素子의 전도도는 온도의존성을 보였고, CO 가스에 대한 感度는 2000 ppm 이하의 낮은 농도범위에서 가스농도는 평방근에 비례하였다. 최적동작온도는 약 300$^{\circ}$C 였고 CO 가스농도가 5000 ppm에서의 응답시간은 약 20초 였다. $SnO_X$/Pt thin film gas sensors were fabricated and their performance characteristics were measured. The $SnO_X$/Pt films were deposited by vacuum evaporating the $SnO_2$ target mixed with 2 wt% Pt. The conductivity showed the temperature dependence and the sensitivity to CO gas was proportional to the square root of gas concentration below 2000 ppm. The optimum operating temperature of the fabricated devices was about 300$^{\circ}$C and the response time in 5000 ppm CO gas was about 20 sec.

        Self-Slaving을 이용한 원격측정 신호추적 기법 연구

        A telemetry ground station has a highly directional, parabolic tracking antenna to receive a weak telemetry signal from a target at a distance. The tracking antenna with narrow beam-width normally uses the auto-track method for the target tracking. This paper presents several issues in the auto-track method and introduces a new tracking method using Self-Slaving technique. Self-Slaving means that the tracking antenna is slaved to not data measured by RADAR but GPS/INS informations received by the telemetry system for pointing. The Self-Slaving method shows good performance in comparison with auto-track method.

        PMMA를 이용한 저항형 습도감지소자

        습도감지물질로서 PMMA박막을 사용하여 저항형 습도감지소자를 제조하고 그 특성을 조사하였다. PMMA에 DVB를 첨가하여 가교결합을 일으키고 여기에 PVA를 섞어 제조된 습도센서는 상대습도의 증가에 따라 저항의 변화를 나타내었으며, 흡착에 비해 탈착 시 약 3% 미만의 히스테리시스 특성을 나타내었다. 또한 제조된 소자는 좋은 장기안정도를 보였으며, 응답시간은 흡착시에는 약 7분, 탈착시에는 약 5분이었다. The sensor coated of the cross-linked PMMA with PVA exhibited largely variation of resistance by increase of relative humidity and less than 3 % of hysteresis. Furthermore, the fabricated sensor exhibited superior long term stability. The response time of the PMMA humidity sensor was about 7 min. for adsorption and about 5 min. for desorption respectively.

        자동차용 ABS/TCS 인터페이스 시스템 IC의 설계

        자동차용 ABS/TCS 시스템의 기존 개별소자 회로를 시험하고, 시스템의 문제점을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션으로 분석하였다. ABS/TCS 시스템의 성능을 개선하기 위해 에러 보상회로, 비교기 및 UVLO 회로를 가진 인터페이스 IC를 설계하고, 전기적 특성을 조사하였다. 전압 조절기는 자동차 환경에 견디기 위해 $-20^{\circ}C$에서 $120^{\circ}C$ 사이의 온도 범위에서 온도변화를 보상하도록 하였고, ABS와 브레이크는 같은 주파수와 다른 주파수의 듀티 계수를 사용하여 분리하였다. UVLO 회로와 정전압 회로는 잡음을 제거하기 위해 적용하였고, 과도 전류를 제한하기 위해 보호회로를 사용하였다. ABS/TCS 시스템의 전기적 성능을 향상시키기 위해 IC 제조를 위한 레이아웃을 설계하였다. 제작된 마스크 패턴은 11개로 구성하였으며, 전류 손실을 줄이기 위해 8개의 패드를 유효하게 배치하였다. 브레드보드 시험치와 레이아웃을 설계한 후 시뮬레이션의 시험치를 비교한 결과 시뮬레이션과 브레드보드 실험치가 거의 일치하거나 우수한 결과를 가짐을 알 수 있었다. The conventional discrete circuit for ABS/TCS system was examined and the problems of the system were analyzed by computer simulation. In order to improve the performance of ABS/TCS system, interface IC which has error compensation, comparator and under voltage lock-out circuit was designed and their electrical characteristics were investigated. The voltage regulator was included to compensate the temperature variation in the temperature range from $-20^{\circ}C$ to $120^{\circ}C$ for automobile environment. ABS and brake signal were separated using the duty factor of same frequency or different frequencies. UVLO(Under Voltage Lock-Out) circuit and constant current circuit were applied for the elimination of noise, and protection circuit was applied to cut the excess current off. Layout for IC fabrication was designed to enhance the electrical performance of ABS/TCS system. Layout was consisted of 11 masks, arrayed effectively 8 pads to reduce the current loss. We can see that the result of layout simulation was better than the result of bread board.

        고주파 마그네트론 스퍼터링에 의한 TiO2-x 박막 습도센서의 습도감지특성

        TiO_(2-x) thin film humidity sensors have been fabricated by sputtering method and their physical and hygroscopic characteristics have been investigated. The sputtering conditions and sintering conditions affect the sensor`s sensitivity toward humidity. AES and SEM micrographs were taken for the analysis of crystal structures, surface morphology caused by adsorbed water vapour. TiO_(2-x) humidity sensors showed negative impedance-humidity characteristics and the sensor which was fabricated by experimental condition 2(rf power of 200W) showed higher sensitivity and linearity than others. Then the slope of the sensor was about 0.794 ㏀/%RH and the response time of TiO_(2-x) humidity sensors was about 2 min. for adsorption and about 3 min. for desorption at the operating temperature of 30℃.

        창의성요소와 감성디자인의 평가방법 관계에 대한 연구

        현대사회를 감성사회라고 말한다. 감성사회에서 感性디자인은 상품의 가치를 높여 부가가치를 높여준다. 많은 연구자들이 감성디자인에 대하여 주장을 하고 있지만 감성제품과 일반 제품의 관계에 대해서는 아직까지 판단기준이 무엇인지 명확하게 밝히거나 무엇이 감성제품인지에 대하여 구체적으로 연구된 사례가 많지 않다. 따라서 감성디자인에서, 사용자에게 중요하게 다루어지는 디자인요소가 무엇이며, 감성디자인의 분류와 판단기준을 제시할 필요가 있다. 이를 위하여 첫 번째로 선행 연구된 디자인 창의성 평가 요소와 감성디자인의 관계, 소비자에게 선호되는 감성디자인은 어떤 창의성평가요소와의 디자인요소가 중요하게 다루어져야 하는지를 제안하고, 두 번째로, 감성디자인유형별로 중요하게 표현되는 이미지와 창의성평가요소와의 관계는 무엇인지를 알아보았다. 이를 위하여 사용자들에게 제품을 보여주고 감성디자인이라고 생각하는 제품을 선정하게하고, 선정된 제품을 디자인유형별로 나누어 창의성평가요소와의 관계를 알아보았다. 또한 선정된 제품에서 느끼고 있는 디자인이미지를 알아보고 이미지와 창의성평가요소와의 관계도 알아보았다. 본 연구를 통하여, 감성디자인은 시대의 변화, 환경, 사용자에 따라 중요한 창의성평가요소가 다르게 나타날 수 있으며, 사용자가 선호하는 디자인은 어떤 이미지를 갖는 디자인이어야 한다는 것을 알 수 있을 것이다. This modern society is said to be more typical of an emotional society. In such a society, emotional design adds value to products, hence bringing about value-enhanced products. Despite many claims of little substance about emotional design, there have been only a few researches that have identified what criteria to be applied to distinguish between emotional products and generic products or even have clearly defined what emotional products are. This leads to a clear need for providing more definite criteria for defining and classifying design elements useful and available for users. To fill the gap, the purpose of this study is, first, to explore the relationship between evaluation elements for creative design and emotional design, and, based on that, identify some of the most importantly valued elements, and secondly, to examine how the images importantly used for expression relate to creativity evaluation elements according to classified types of design. In this study, chosen products were presented to selected users so that they can choose what they think possesses emotional design elements. Then the products so chosen were classified according to design type for examination of their respective relationship with creativity evaluation elements. In addition, the identification was performed of perceived design images about the selected products and the relationship between those images and creativity evaluation elements. This study is expected to provide a chance to be aware of the fact that essential creativity evaluation elements can vary depending on changing times, environments, and users, and as well, to offer an insight into what images design should be possessive of for it to be preferred by consumers.

        페닝 소스 스퍼터링 장치를 이용한 결정성 질화탄소막의 성장 및 물리적 특성

        N/A Penning type sputtering system which has two opposed targets was implemented and the physical characteristics of the deposited carbon nitride films were investigated. When argon ratio was reduced and nitrogen ratio was increased in the sputtering gas mixture, Fe was less sputtered. The grain size of grown carbon nitride films was distributed from 150Å to 250Å. As nitrogen partial pressure increases, growth rate and nitrogen incorporation in the film increases.
