<b>Purpose:</b> To report a case of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) secondary to candida chorioretinitis initially treated with an intravitreal bevacizumab injection. <b>Case summary:</b> A 50-year-old female presented at our clinic with decreased vision and metamorphopsia in her left eye of 5 days duration. She received an anti-fungal treatment 2 months prior due to the presence of endogenous candida choroiditis in both eyes. Fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography (OCT) revealed juxtafoveal CNV in her left eye. Three monthly intravitreal injections of bevacizumab were administered as the initial loading dosage. Her visual symptoms improved and CNV regression was observed on OCT. No recurrence or complications were observed during the 6 month follow-up. <b>Conclusions:</b> Based on the present study results we suggest that intravitreal bevacizumab injection can be used to effectively treat CNV and improve visual symptoms during the treatment of juxtafoveal CNV associated with candida choroiditis. 주기적 연료 공급이 비애혼합 화염 특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

The effects of periodic fuel supply on the nonpremixed flame stability and soot formation were experimentally studied. A solenoid valve was used to control the period of fuel supply. The laser induced incandescence technique was used to visualize cool: volume fraction profile. The flame base shape was changed significantly by the fuel supply period and partially by the fuel flowrates. The portion of bluish flame near the flame base became larger as the period increased. When the period was long, two flames coexisted within one period. It seemed that the characteristic of flame stability were repeated with 4.68m change of fuel supply line length. The soot mass measurements and soot volume fraction measurements revealed that the maximum suppression of soot by the perioic fuel supply was approximately 75% , which occurred when the occurred when the fuel supply period was relatively long.

30세 이후 근력은 지속적으로 감소하며, 운동을 꾸준히 하지 않는 이상 60세 이후 30% 정도 소실되는 것으로 알려졌다. 근육량이 적어지면 기초대사량이 감소하여 쉽게 살이 찌고, 고혈압 등 만성질환 등에 노출되기 쉽다. 또한, 하체근력이 약화되면 걷기 등 일상생활에서 문제가 따르고, 낙상 등의 위험도 배가 된다. 따라서 건강한 노후생활을 즐기기 위해서는 근력을 유지하는 것이 필수라고 해도 무방하다.

HDDR treated anisotropic Nd-Fe-B powders have been widely used for the sheet motors and the sunroof motors of hybrid or electric vehicles, due to their excellent magnetic properties. Microstructural alignment of HDDR treated powders are mostly depending on the hydrogen reaction in disproportionation step, so the specific method to control hydrogenation reaction is required for improving magnetic properties. In disproportionation step, hydrogenation pressure and reaction time were controlled in the range of 0.15~1.0 atm for 15~180 min in order to control the micorstructural alignment of $Nd_2Fe_{14}B$ phase and, at the same time, to improve remanence of HDDR treated magnet powders. In this study, we could obtain a well aligned anisotropic Nd-Fe-B-Ga-Nb alloy powder having high remanence of 12 kG by reducing hydrogen pressure down to 0.3 atm in disproportionation step.
진수원(陳修園)의 표본중기(標本中氣) 이론(理論) 활용에 관한 연구 - 『상한론천주』를 중심으로 -

Objective : Zhang zhi-cong insisted the theory related to the 'Six-meridian qi transformation', and Zhen xiu-yuan inherited that theory understanding six-meridian disease of "Shang-Han-Lun". This emphasizes that the disease of 'three yin and three yang' in "Shang-Han-Lun" is a disease caused by Six-meridian qi transformation, not a lesion of meridian itself. He said, "If you do not know brightly in the 'Tip, Root and Middle qi', you can not read the "Shang-Han-Lun"." Therefore, in this paper, we examine the interpretation of the "Shang-Han-Lun"by using the theory of 'five circuits and six qi'. Method : First, extract sentences related to 'Tip, Root and Middle qi' from the sentences of "Shang-Han-Lun" Second, the sentence is interpreted through the Zhen xiu-yuan's "Sang han lun qian zhu". Third, the meaning of the sentence is examined and summarized. Result : Zhen xiu-yuan proposed a clear and systematic theory that can understand the meaning of Six-meridian in "Shang-Han-Lun", by utilizing the discipline that 'Tip, Root and Middle qi' Conclusion : The change of 'Tip, Root and Middle qi' is a very central theory that explains the properties of 'Yin and Yang' and mutual correspondence among Korean medicine theories. It also provides basic directions for understanding the changing patterns of disease.
