The commercial viability of heat exchanger is mainly dependent on their long-term fouling characteristics because the feeling increases the pressure loss and degrades the thermal performance of a heat exchanger An experimental study was performed to investigate the characteristics of fluid flow in a fluidized bed heat exchanger with circulating various solid particles. The present work showed that the drag force coefficients of particles in the internal flow were higher than in the external flow, in addition, they were lower with the shapes of particles being closer to the spherical geometries.

We demonstrate a k-domain linearization using a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) array for Fourier domain optical coherence tomography based on a wavelength swept laser. The k-domain linearization is carried out with an interpolation method using a FBG array with five FBGs. The measured signal-to-noise ratio from the point spread function after k-domain linearization is 12 dB improved over that of without k-domain linearization at the 1 mm depth of the sample. Clear OCT imaging of the slide glass with k-domain linearization could be obtained.

In Hegel's 『Phenomenology of Spirit』, 「Preface」 and 「Introduction」 deal with the path to the truth in common, but the paths are different from each other. In 「Preface」, as a movement of 'concept', this movement is developed through the medium of objectification and self-introspection. Through this movement, a system of Science is formed. On the other hand, in 「Introduction」, the way of the experience of the Consciousnessness is presented, and the cognitive frame premised on this path develops into a new cognitive frame as it encounters the thing itself, that is, self-contradiction. 『Phenomenology of Spirit』 develops through such the experience of the Consciousnessness. So far, the discussion has mostly centered on the conceptual movement in 「Introduction」, and reduces the experience of the Consciousnessness in 「Introduction」 to the conceptual movement. Then, the difference between 『Phenomenology of Spirit』 and Science disappears, and there is no need to describe 『Phenomenology of Spirit』 as a preliminary study to reach Science. Therefore, we cannot help but acknowledge the uniqueness of the two paths, and since both paths lead to the truth, we cannot help but ponder the relationship between the two. Are these two different paths climbing to the summit of truth? Or are they complementary paths that form the same path? In this article, the author tries to find the possibility of integrating these two paths into one. In the midst of this, the author pays attention to Hegel's unique concept of form and moment. Hegel relates the two concepts of form and moment through the concept of internalization (Errinnerung: memory) or time as the existence of a 'concept'. This reveals that the conceptual movement and the experience of the Consciousnessness are different aspects of the same movement. In other words, the process of self-reflection in the conceptual movement takes place by encountering a contradiction with the object itself. Likewise, the thing itself that emerges from the experience of the Consciousnessness is only the reverse side of the object established through the concept. Therefore, it is the experience of the Consciousnessness that enables the movement of the moment of concept, and the movement of the concept that enables the transitional movement of the form of consciousness. Therefore, both are different aspects of the same movement, and the two movements complement each other and form a unified movement. If we understand the two paths as complementary paths, it seems possible to understand Hegel's thought more completely and comprehensively.
