This study deals with chitin derivatives market analysis which composed of revenue and demand forecasting. The global market for chitosan was estimated at 13.7 thousand metric tons for 2010, with a positive projected of 21.4 thousand metric tons expected by 2015. The Asia-Pacific region (including Japan) was the leading chitosan market with an estimated 7.8 thousand metric tons in 2010 and a projected 12 thousand metric tons by 2015. The US represented the second biggest market for chitosan, with an estimated market size of 3.6 thousand metric tons in 2010. According to the report, the global market for chitin derivatives will reach $63 billion, while the global chitosan market will reach more than $21 billion by the year 2015. One of the most important derivatives of chitin is glucosamine. "Cornering an estimated market share of more than 60% of the total chitin derivatives market in 2010, glucosamine is portended to continue its dominance over the coming years," the report noted. Among the end-use applications of chitosan, water treatment represents the largest end-use application. However, the agrochemicals segment represents the fastest growing end-use, with consumption of chitosan surging at more than 12% over the analysis period." However, Korea domestic chitin derivatives health functional food market has been shrunk to approximately 36.7 bil. in 2009 from 125.5 bil. in 2005. So, to achieve sustainable market growth, the development of new application fields is needed.

This study deals with chitin derivatives market analysis which is focused on glucosamine and chitosan. The global chitin derivatives market was estimated at 51.5 thousand metric tons for 2012, with a positive projected of 118.2 thousand metric tons expected by 2018. The glucosamine demand that accounts for 61% of chitin derivatives demand will reach 72 thousand metric tons by 2018. And sales of chitosan are projected to reach 40.6 thousand metric tons by 2018. The chitosan market is less concentrated in Japan while the glucosamine demand in Japan is still dominant over the global glucosamine market. According to the market analysis of chitosan, healthcare/medical application is expected as a promising application in Japan, US and Asia- Pacific region(excluding Japan). The increase of chitosan demand of the healthcare or medical application especially in Asia- Pacific region seems to be a driver factor for the chitosan market. So, this study also shows chitosan market and corporate trends related with healthcare or medical application. The technology innovation strategy to dominate market of the potentially promising applications including the healthcare or medical application, biotechnology related application, photography products, food and beverages, cosmetics and toiletries application is needed.
농촌지역 보건지소 건축의 특성에 관한 연구 - 익산시 보건소 관할 지소를 중심으로 -

There are an increasing number of healthcare facilaties, especially branch offices, in rural areas to serve the aging population living there. However, there has been a gradual decline in the ratios of recognition, satisfaction and utilization by people who live in the regions. A significant reason of declining the ratios should be the population decline, but the most of population hierarchy shows the groups of elderly people over 60. This result appears to be limited to visit the public health centers. According to the result of population hierarchy, a branch office of public health center has been re-established as a complex welfare facility which can be fulfilled in the functions of basic medical supports and cultural supports. This research is focused on collecting the meaningful information of the status of physical facilities and utilization with 15branch offices of public health care centers in the rural regions near the city of Ik-San city. In addition, this research has a purpose of getting fundamental data for future architectural plans of the branch offices in rural regions with the results about the status of facility operation systems and users' needs.
XML 데이타 제공자를 사용하는 OLE / COM 기반 OpenGIS 서버의 개발

최근 지리 정보 시스템(GIS)이 전 국가적으로 대중화되면서 서로 다른 분야에서 구축되어 서로 다른 환경에 분산되어 있는 이질적인 공간 데이타의 상호운용성에 대한 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 상호운용성을 위해 OGC에 의해 표준 사양인 OpenGIS 이 개발되었고, 이 사양을 바탕으로 개방형 지리 정보 시스템을 개발하여 다양한 데이타 소스간의 상호운용성을 얻고자 하는 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 그러나, OpenGIS 사양을 따르는 상호운용성 지원 방법에서는 다양한 형태의 데이타 소스별로 데이타 제공자의 개발이 필요하다. 따라서 이러한 부담을 줄이고 효율적인 데이타 저장 및 관리를 위한 단일처리 모델의 제시가 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 표준 데이타 언어인 XML과 기타 다른 관련기술을 OpenGIS 서버의 데이타 제공자 컴포넌트에 도입하여, OpenGIS 사양을 따르는 기존의 이질적인 데이타 소스와의 연등을 지원할 뿐 아니라 표준화 된 저장 구조의 데이타 소스에 대한 하나의 효율적인 데이타 제공자를 갖는 OpenGIS 서버를 설계 및 구현한다. 본 시스템은 OpenGIS의 지리 데이타 구조와 저리에 대한 인터페이스의 표준화를 통해 상호운용성을 보장하고, OLE/COM 사양을 이용하여 각 컴포넌트들의 재사용성을 지원하여, 또한 문서 저장 및 전달을 위한 데이타 형식의 표준인 XML을 사용하여 문서구조의 검증 기능과 문서접근 방식의 단일화를 지원한다.
