      • 물수요 중심 용수공급시스템 활용을 위한 국내 농업용수 공급체계 분석

        This study analyzed agricultural water distribution systems for the utilization of water demand-oriented water supply systems. Three major TM/TC(telemeter/telecontrol) districts of agricultural water management were selected for analyzing the characteristics of the water distribution systems. In addition, the characteristics of the water supply systems for general water supply zones based on irrigation facilities were also investigated, along with the case of special water management during the drought season. As a result, high annual and monthly variations were observed for the water supply facilities, including the reservoirs and pumping stations. In particular, these variations were more obvious during the drought season, depending on the type of facility. The operations of the pumping stations and weirs were more sensitive to the stream levels than the reservoirs, and the smaller reservoirs were influenced more than the larger reservoirs. Therefore, a water-demand-oriented water supply system should consider the existing general practices of water management in the agricultural sector, and focus on achieving a laborsaving system rather than water conservation in the case of reservoirs. Equal water distribution from the start to the end point of irrigation channels could be an effective solution for managing pumping stations.

        새만금 예정수역의 수질특성 분석

        Hourly monitoring data from Saemangeum estuary, which is expected to become freshwater, was analyzed to evaluate the water quality characteristics. Higher algal growth at spring season than winter influenced the high ratio of organic nitrogen to total nitrogen and concentration of chemical oxygen demand (COD). About 87.9% and 59.7% of organic nitrogen was observed at winter season and spring season, respectively. Daily salinity analysis at the mouth of two main rivers demonstrated that the Dongjin in river was more influenced by tidal effect and showed higher variation than the Mankyung river. The ratio of nitrogen to phosphorus (N/P ratio) was different with site (estuary versus sea area) and season (winter versus spring) remarkably. The N/P ratio was highest (32.74 ∼ 43.93) at estuary in winter and was lowest (1.78 ∼ 3.06) at sea in spring. The high N/P ratio at estuary area implies that phosphorus can be the limiting nutrient factor for algal growth as in general freshwater river, therefore, water quality management practice considering river characteristics rather might be needed in the Saemangeum estuary. The Saemangeum project is nationally recognized for its environmental issues, and especially water quality concern is a critical factor to make policy decision and further assessment with continued monitoring is strongly recommended.

      • 농업용저수지 재개발을 위한 우선순위 선정시스템 개발

        In national prospective, the needs to develop water resources has been increased due to water shortage from diverse use of water resources in agricultural areas. Existing agricultural water demand, which has mainly been limited to the use of farming, are now expanding to diverse water uses such as supporting daily lives, diluting environmental pollution as well as industrial use for agricultural complex currently under construction in agricultural region. In this situation, for the sake of effective procurement of water resources and supply method, it is definitely required to enhance the effectiveness of budget investment and project proceedings through integrated re-development which links projects to strengthen existing dams, reservoirs and hydraulic facilities. The major scopes of this research includes developing different types of system such as selecting potential sites to re-construct reservoirs including generating base maps and thematic maps, data collection regarding water demands and reservoir status; analyzing reservoir data; estimating developable capacity and index calculation; and forecasting inundated areas. In addition, this study provides other products such as developing output generation system which can support wide use of data built and analyzed; database generation for better data management; data analysis including selection, extraction, indexation, and calculation of base items through standardization; data security system prohibiting exterior proliferation and malicious manufacturing of data.

        농업용저수지 여수토 전도게이트 개발을 위한 모형실험

        To improve the capacity of reservoir and the ability of mitigation on natural hazards of agricultural small dam, the model of tainter gate which could be installed on spillway was developed and pilot-scale test was carried out to evaluate the performance of gate with quantity and velocity of flood. In the design of gate, it was shown that the ratio of gate shape was appropriate in the range of 1.00~1.45(the height of gate = 20~30cm). In the pilot test for the 25cm height of gate, it was shown that water level in the backside of gate was constant about 35cm when it overturned and it was fully overturned in a short time. Therefore it was expected that tainter gate developed in this study could be harmonious in the viewpoint of operation. 농업용저수지에 수위조절이 가능한 수문을 설치함으로서 이수용량을 추가하고 저수지의 상황에 따라 수위를 자유로이 변환시킬 수 있도록 하기 위하여 여수토에 설치를 전제로 전동 게이트 개발을 위한 모형실험을 실시하였다. 사전 구조해석에서는 적정 수문비는 1.00~1.45(게이트 높이는 20~30cm)로 판단되었으며, 수문 높이 25cm(수문비 1.18)인 모형실험 결과에서 유량별 전도시 수위는 35cm 내외로 일정하였고 전도는 짧은 시간 안에 전면전도가 발생하여 전도 게이트의 작동은 원활한 것으로 판단되었다. 그러나 수문전도 시 하류부로 유출되는 유량은 상부에서 유입되는 유속에 따라 증가되는 것으로 나타나 이에 대해서는 추후 계속 연구가 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

      • 농촌유역 환경개선을 위한 용수공급체계 재정비

        The objective of the study is to assess the water quality improvement resulted from the rearrangement of the irrigation water supply systems at Mankyeong River and Ansung Chun basin. There is a mixed type of watershed composed of urban and rural areas in the region. From the water quality analysis, showed high T-N, T-P concentration in Ansung chun and Mankyeong river caused by paddies separated widely around Ansung chun and Mankyeong river and by runoff of the pollution from the Ansung and Jeonju city. but the upstream of the river showed clean water quality, so if we use the upstream water as river maintenance water for water quality improvement, it is expected to be positive effect for rural environmental aspect.

        청정 시설용수 공급을 위한 FDA 시스템 개발

        The objective of this study is to develop water purification system for supplying clean agricultural water, especially for providing high quality of greenhouse cultivation water. The FDA (Filter- Disinfection-Adsorption) system was developed through several assessments. Four water quality categories, SS, BOD, turbidity, E. coli were selected as a basis of development and examination of FDA system. From the field examination, it was found that FDA system was good enough to meet target values of each water quality category after purification process. Apart from the water quality issues, this study also investigated the practical problems of FDA system in a position of user. A few defects for using FDA system were detected from the user monitoring, such as sustaining proper water temperature, suitable water tank capacity, leaking and water pressure problems, etc. Further study will be proceeded to improve and upgrade FDA system in the second research period in order to supply high quality of clean irrigation water as well as to provide convenience water for farmers. 우리나라 농촌현실에 적합하면서 고품질의 친환경 농산물 생산을 위한 청정용수공급이 가능한 FDA 시스템을 개발하였다. 기존의 필터제품의 문제점을 개선하고 보다 경제적이고 기능적인 면을 고려하여 시설재배단지에 청정용수공급을 목표로 시설용수공급시스템을 개발하였다. 시설용수 공급시스템 모듈통합기법으로 개발된 FDA시스템은 여과와 흡착 그리고 자외선 모듈을 거치는 과정으로 구성되어 있다. 본 제품의 시작품 생산은 3단계의 평가과정을 거쳐 진행 되었다. 이 과정을 통해 시설용수공급시스템의 구성품별 사양을 제시하고 적정처리용량 및 모듈통합기법을 개발하였으며, 현장 설치지역(시설재배농가)의 재배현황 및 수질을 조사하여 적합한 시설용수 공급시스템 요소기술(살균, 여과)을 설계하였고, 실제 현장에 적용할 수 있는 시작품을 제작하여 현장 설치를 위한 실내 성능시험을 수행하였다. 또한 시작품 현장 설치 후 시설용수 공급시스템 유입 전․후 수질분석을 실시하였으며 모니터링을 통해 시설재배용수 온도조절장치와 폭기 장치에 대한 개선방안을 제시하여 시작품의 보완제작을 실시하였다. 시작품의 현장적용성 평가에서는 시작품의 수질정화능력평가 및 사용자 입장에서의 개선점 파악을 실시하였는데 그 결과 시스템의 수질정화능력은 목표치 이상이었으나, 수온유지, 저수조 용량문제, 누수현상, 역류현상, 적정수압유지 등의 개선점이 파악되었다.
