초등학생의 이타성과 행복감의 관계 : 사회적 지지의 매개효과

본 연구는 초등학생의 이타성과 사회적 지지가 행복에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 초등학생 고학년의 이타성과 행복의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 알아보고자, 전북 소재의 초등학교 두 곳의 5, 6학년 373명을 대상으로 행복감 척도와 이타성 척도, 사회적 지지 척도를 하나의 질문지 양식으로 작성하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 19.0을 이용하여 상관분석, 빈도분석 등을 수행하였고, AMOS 21.0을 이용하여 구조방정식모형을 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 초등학생의 이타성은 행복에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 초등학생의 이타성 수준이 높을수록 행복 수준도 높아졌다. 둘째, 초등학생의 이타성과 사회적 지지는 서로 유의한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이타성 수준이 높을수록 사회적 지지도 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적 지지와 행복은 정적 상관관계가 있었으며, 가족, 친구, 교사의 지지가 높을수록 행복을 느끼는 정도도 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 초등학생의 이타성과 행복감의 관계에서 사회적 지지는 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 지지는 초등학생의 행복 증진에도 영향을 주지만, 여러 가지 심리적 건강에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인함으로써 다시 한 번 사회적 지지의 중요성을 강조하였다. Many research have been presented that altruism and social support is related with happiness. Though altruism and social support of factors which is influential to happiness is an important variable, investigation about the relevance between them was not done a lot of research. Therefore this study confirms that influence elementary’s altruism and social support effects for happiness, also investigate the mediating effect of social support in the relationship between elementary’s altruism and happiness. Results were based on a sample of 340 children age 11 to 12 years. Data were collected by using a scale of happiness, helping behavior measures, the social support scale with make out a one list. The collected data was performed correlation analysis and frequency analysis by IBM SPSS 19.0 and analyzed the structural equation modeling by AMOS 21.0. Analysis Results showed happiness and altruism, social support is significantly correlated between all the variables. The results also confirmed that the social support have a significant part of the mediating effect when altruism affects the impact on happiness discussed the mediating effect of social support in elementary’s altruism and happiness. This study confirmed that elementary’s altruism affects happiness positively, child with high altruism the more highly recognizes a social support, child who is receiving social support is altruism. Also this study confirmed that social support has a significant part of the mediating effect when altruism affects happiness. This study suggests that systematically support and education about altruism and social support is important for improving elementary s happiness.
