말단비대증은 전암성 병변으로 대장 용종의 발생빈도가 높다고 보고되어 있으나, 다발성으로 동반된 경우는 발생빈도면에서 아주 드물게 나타나고 있다. 저자들은 말단비대증 환자에 시행한 대장내시경 검사상 대장 전체에 산재된 다발성 용종을 경험하였기에 대장용종 및 대장암과 관련된 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. The acromegaly is a chronic disease characterized by increased growth of bone and connective tissue. as well as visceral organomegaly due to hypersecretion of growth hormone and subsequent elevation of insulin-like growth factor I. Patients with acromegaly show higher prevalence of colonic polyps and increased risk of developing colonic cancer, so regular colonoscopic examination is strongly recommended. We experienced a patient presenting acromegloid apearance and showing multiple colonic polyps by colonoscopic examination. This patient haute pituitary macroadenoma on brain MRI(2×1.8×2cm). We confirmed that his GH level was not suppressed by oral glucose loading, and then we performed Gamma Knife surgery. His acromegaloid appearance is much improving state now. We are going to perform regular colonoscopic examination. There has been very scanty case reports on acromegaly with multiple colonic polyps. So, we report this case with the review of the literature.

Predicting radioactive fission product (FP) behaviors in the reactor coolant system and the containment of a nuclearpower plant (NPP) is one of the major concerns in the field of reactor safety, since the amount of radioactive FP releasedinto the environment during the postulated accident sequences is one of the major regulatory issues. Radioactive FPscirculating in the primary coolant loop and released into the containment are basically in the form of gas or aerosol. In thisstudy, a multi-component and multi-sectional analysis module for aerosol fission products has been developed based onthe MAEROS model [1,2], and the aerosol transport model has been developed and verified against an analytic solution. The deposition of aerosol FPs to the surrounding structural surfaces is modeled with recent research achievements. Thedeveloped aerosol analysis model has been successfully validated against the STORM SR-11 experimental data [3],which is International Standard Problem No. 40. Future studies include the development of the resuspension, growth, and chemical reaction models of aerosol fission products.

Objective : To carry out the oriental medicine treatment on a patient with oculomotor nerve palsy accompanied by Diabetes mellitus complication history Methods : We conducted one patient with oculomotor nerve palsy at Won-Kwang University Kwang-Ju Oriental Medical Hospital. We treated patient by herbal medicine, acupuncture, etc. Results : We had an effect that one patient's symptom had improved. Conclusion : We suggest that the oriental medical treatment and management have an effect with oculomotor nerve palsy accompanied by DM complication history.

ISFRA (Integrated SFR Analysis Program for PSA) computer program has been developed for simulatingthe response of the PGSFR pool design with metal fuel during a severe accident. This paper describesvalidation of the ISFRA aerosol model against the Aerosol Behavior Code Validation and Evaluation(ABCOVE) experiments undertaken in 1980s for radionuclide transport within a SFR containment. ABCOVE AB5, AB6, and AB7 tests are simulated using the ISFRA aerosol model and the results arecompared against the measured data as well as with the simulation results of the MELCOR severe accident code. It is revealed that the ISFRA prediction of single-component aerosols inside a vessel (AB5) isin good agreement with the experimental data as well as with the results of the aerosol model inMELCOR. Moreover, the ISFRA aerosol model can predict the “washout” phenomenon due to the interaction between two aerosol species (AB6) and two-component aerosols without strong mutual interference (AB7). Based on the theory review of the aerosol correlation technique, it is concluded that theISFRA aerosol model can provide fast, stable calculations with reasonable accuracy for most of the casesunless the aerosol size distribution is strongly deformed from log-normal distribution.
