From August to December 1973, 189 cases of scabies were examinecl by Muller's method and following results were obtained: 1) 91 cases (52. 6%) of 172 were confirmed by detecting mite. 2) From the reexamination of samples, adult form(58.2%), larva(52.7%), egg(41.8%) egg shell(30.8%) and scybala(29.7%) were identified in order and egg shell and scybala were also diagnostic. 3) Confirmed scraping lesions were burrow(61.8%), papule(29.4%), vesicle(5.9%), pustuel(2.9%), in order of frequency. 4) Adult Sarcoptes was found in 27 cases(64.3%) of 42 examined with burrows and in 13 cases(65%) of 20 with papules. 5) Mean of incubation period was 26.6 days in 14 cases.

NECT CT에서 DLIR 재구성기법 적용 시 화질분석

갑상샘이 포함된 인체모형 팬텀을 이용하여 임상에서 많이 적용하는 NECK CT 프로토콜 중 관전압을 변화 적용하여 스캔 후 Raw data를 이용하여 FBP, ASIR-V, DLIR 재구성기법 적용 영상 획득하여 120 kVp FBP 재구성 영상 기준 DLIR 재구성기법의 유용성을 알아보았다. 그 결과 DLIR 재구성기법 적용 시 CTDIvol 이 감소하였으며, 특히 동일 관전압에서 FBP 적용보다 ASIR-V, DLIR 재구성 시 낮은 선량에서도 기준 스캔 조건으로 획득한 화질에 도달하였다. 또한, SNR, CNR 분석결과 DLIR 재구성 영상이 SNR, CNR 값이 높게 분석되었고, SSIM분석결과 100 kVp, DLIR 재구성 영상이 SSIM 지수가 1에 근사하게 측정되어 원본 영상에 대한 재구성 영상의 유사도가 높은 것으로 분석되었다(p>0.05). 본 연구결과를 활용하여 임상 영상 평가를 시행하여 보완하고 다양한 해부학적 구조에 적용 가능한 알고리즘을 추가 개발한다면 검사 선량을 현재 보다 낮추면서 화질을 유지할 수 있어 임상 적용 시 유용할 것으로 생각된다. 120 kVp FBP reconstruction image standard by using raw data after scanning by changing tube voltage among the NECK CT protocols that are broad applied in clinical practice using a human phantom including thyroid gland The usefulness of the DLIR reconstruction technique was investigated. As a result, CTDIvol decreased when the DLIR reconstruction technique was applied, and in particular, the image quality obtained under the same standard scanning conditions at a lower dose for ASIR-V and DLIR reconstruction was reached than when FBP was applied at the same kVp In addition, as a result of SNR and CNR analysis, the DLIR reconstructed image was analyzed with high SNR and CNR values, and SSIM analysis, the SSIM index of the 100 kVp, DLIR reconstructed image was measured to be close to 1, and it was analyzed that the similarity of the reconstructed image to the original image was high (p>0.05). If the results of this study are used to supplement clinical image evaluation and further develop an algorithm applicable to various anatomical structures, it is thought that it will be useful for clinical application as it is possible to maintain the image quality while lowering the examination dose.

The Problem of Evil in Coleridge's Poetry

The problem of evil has been a serious dilemma of human beings and the question on its origin or cause has unceasingly perplexed numerous men of letters, philosophers, religious thinkers, and even scientists. Throughout his whole career Coleridge unfailingly regarded evil as a dreadful reality that threatens and overpowers both humans as individuals and societies. Coleridge in “Religious Musings,” inspired by the French Revolution in 1789 as a crucial historical event that represented an apocalyptic hope for the regeneration of the human race and the world, accepts Christ’s teachings as an imperative imposed on himself to reaffirm and reestablish the values of freedom and justice for his society and as the firm ground of his belief in the ultimate victory of the good over the evil. “The Ancient Mariner,” when examined in terms of a soul’s journey, turns out to be a serious exploration of the dark and narrow valleys of human soul and of the nature of evil in humanity. “Christabel,” in its unfinished state as it is, also inquires into the experience of evil in the dynamic relations between major characters unparalleled in earlier Gothic romances. In “Ne Plus Ultra” Coleridge suggests that, even though the principle of evil with its enormous power appears to be “foul and fell,” its power is given ultimate divine control according to God’s grand design. Coleridge’s lifelong occupations with the problem of evil are given graphic treatments in his poetry and prose and unfailingly stimulate us to reappraise him as a poet and religious thinker.

영국 낭만주의에 있어서의 상상력의 개념 : 워즈워스와 코울리지를 중심으로

The concept of the imagination as we use now is heavily indebted to the English Romantics. As is often pointed out, the distinctive feature which distinguishes them from the earlier poets is to be found in the importance which they attached to the imagination and in the special view which they held of it. Though they differ in their respective approaches, the concept of the creative imagination well serves for them as a common denominator. The aim of this paper is to examine closely the concepts of the imagination set forth in Wordsworth's "Preface to the Edition of 1815" and Coleridge's Biographia Literaria. Above all, the difference between Wordsworth and Coleridge in their conceptions of fancy and imagination lies in the difference between their purposes and the philosophical orientations of their theories. As Coleridge remarked in his Biographia, Wordsworth's purpose was "to consider the influences of fancy and imagination as they are manifested in poetry, and from the different effects to conclude their diversity in kind," and, consequently, his "Preface" was "a masterly sketch of the branches with their poetic fruitage." On the other hand, Coleridge's object was "to investigate the seminal principle, and then from the kind to deduce the degree." Wordsworth's conception of the imagination remains at the level of the practical and empirical generalizations about the operations of the imagination in his own and other poets' poetry, and does not duly recognize the nature and function of the imagination as a mediatory power between the subjective and the objective. In short, his theory, if any theory at all, lacks the philosophical perspective, rigor, and consistency of Coleridge's theory. As a matter of fact, Coleridge's distinction between fancy and imagination was at once the outgrowth of his literary sensibility and the product of his struggle against the tradition of Locke and Hartley and the resultant mechanical materialism of the eighteenth century. At any rate, it is safe to say that Wordsworth and Coleridge raised the level of the discussion of the imagination higher than ever and, in doing so, went far toward elucidating the nature and feature of the creative imagination.
