        This study is aimed at analyzing the slope characteristics of river basin on the complexity in bedrock. The study area of Milyang river basin, is located on lower part of the Nakdong river. The summit level, relief and slope gradient were statistically analyzed from topographic maps on 1 : 25, 000 and 1 : 50, 000 1) On summit level map, contour interval is narrow. 2) Mean relief energy is 340m. 3) Mean slope gradient is 20. 3˚. From the above facts, it is concluded that the remarkable slope characteristics is derived from the complexity the bedrocks.

      • 도시의 지형적 입지정보에 관한 연구

        This study analyzed major cities of Chung-cheong area in Korea, -Daejeon($36^{\circ}11'{\sim}36^{\circ}30'\;N$, $127^{\circ}15'{\sim}127{\circ}34'\;E$), Chungju($36^{\circ}54'{\sim}37{\circ}02'\;N$, $127^{\circ}52'{\sim}128^{\circ}02'\;E$), and Cheongju($36^{\circ}34'{\sim}36^{\circ}44'\;N$, $127^{\circ}22'{\sim}127^{\circ}34'\;E$)- their characteristics as a Information Site. The geology map, a summit level map, and a drainage network map are created and analyzed the Site. The results are as follows : First, the geology of these cities are related with the shapes and the characteristics of the inner basins. The relief of inner basin determines by the characteristics of the bedrocks. Second, the major cities are close to rivers and the size of the granite & alluvium area influences the relief energy of the urban areas. Finally, the drainage networks explains the process involved in forming the basin and development of urban area.

      • 충남 금산군의 지역정보 분석

        This study aimed at analyze the Regional Information of Geumsan-gun, Chung-Nam, Korea. The study area, the Geumsan-gun, is located in $35^{\circ}57'{\sim}36^{\circ}17'N$, $127^{\circ}19'{\sim}127^{\circ}39'E$. The Landforms, and Drainage network were analyzed from topographical maps on 1:25,000 & 1:50,000 and field survey. The Climate, Population, Economy, Transportation and etc. were analyzed from regional statistics. The results are as follows: The Centripetal forces of unit areas are not powerful because Geumsan-gun located contiguity with Daejeon metropolitan city. The accessibility of Geumsangun is good and is available for a site of specialized agriculture area.

        The C.B.D(Central Business District), called the central place of the urban area, is core of the city. It is consists of variety services. This study is aimed at analyzing the land use of the C.B.D. in Daejeon. Deajeon Metropolitan City site $36^{\circ}11'{\sim}36^{\circ}30'N,\;127^{\circ}15'{\sim}127^{\circ}34'E$. The field survey area is JoongAng-ro neighboring area, partial EunHaing-dong. The results are as follows: First, The land use of surveyed area is concentrate on variety services, because of excellent accessibility. Second, The land use of ground floor(Fl) and second floor(F2) has services for the customers convenience to approach. Third, The land use of surveyed area has undergone a lot of changes over the last three years(2004. 11~2007. 11.)

      • 錦江流域의 河系網 및 傾斜分析

        This study attempts to analyze the Drainage System and Slope of the Geum River Basin with the purpose of presenting the basic data for systematizing rivers in Korea and for its topographical use. The Drainage System is analyzed according to Bifurcation ratio, Length ratio, and Drainage density. The Slope is derived by Tera-da's complementary method. The research is based upon analysis of 1 : 250,000 topographical map coverage. The results are as follows: (1) The main stream is found to be sixth order. The bifurcation ratio is determined to be 3.63, and the length ratio, 2.23. (2) The average drainage density of Geum River Basin is 400m/㎢. (3) The mean slope of this study area is 8°09′, which shows very low relief. The slope which varies from 5° to 15° occupies 64.8 percent of the drainage basin. (4) As 84.5 percent of this drainage basin appears to be less than 15°, this study area has a great potential for land use according to the criteria of topographical use.

      • 河川堆積物의 粒度組咸

        This study is aimed at comparing and analyzing the compose of grain size in river deposits (river bed, natural levee, flood plain), on the difference in bedrock. The study area, granite area in the Naesung river basin and sedimentary rocks area in the Wi river basin, is located on upper part of the Nakdong river. To clarify the difference of grain size between the two area, river deposits were statistically analyzed from method of sieve and beaker. The main result are as follows : 1) In histogram, river bed deposits has mainly one peak type but flood plain deposits has mainly two peak type. 2) The river bed deposits of the granite area is mainly composed of coarse sand but sedimentary rocks area is mainly composed of sand (lower part) and pebble (middle part) in composition. In the flood plain deposits, amount contained of silt and clay at sedimentary rocks area is higher than that of the granite area. 3) Mean grain size of deposits represented, river bed> natural levee> flood plain, in two area together. 4) Difference of mean grain size, sedimentary rocks area is larger than that of granite area. In flood plain, mean grain size of granite area is larger than that of sedimentary rocks area. 5) When one peak type in histogram, deposits of two area are relatively well-sorted. This fact, probably, means that the differences of grain size and sorting of the river deposits between the two area are derived from nature of the bedrocks.

        This study is aimed at finding out forming of basin. The study area, the Occhon basin , is located on middle part of the Geum river. The research is based upon analysis of 1:25,000 topographical map and field survey. The main results are: 1)The forming of Occhon basin results from differential erosion after tectonic agency 2)The characteristics of land use is well developed settlement in basin.
