        Relaxin을 분비하는 아데노바이러스가 피판의 생존에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: Of various effects of relaxin, we assumed that anti-fibrotic effects, neovascularization effects and vasodilatation effects of relaxin might enhance the survival rate of skin flap. In the current study, we used adenovirus expressing relaxin genes to examine whether these genes could enhance the survival rate of a skin flap. Methods: A total of 30 Sprangue-Dawley rats were divided into three groups: RLX group (10; relaxin virus injected group), CTR group (10; no gene coded virus injection group), and PBS group (10; PBS injected group). Each group was intradermally injected with the virus ($10^7$ PFU) and PBS 48 hours before and immediately before the flap elevation. A distally based flap $3{\times}9\;cm$ in size was elevated on the dorsal aspect of each rat. Following this, a flap was placed in the original location and then sutured using a #4-0 Nylon. A surviving area of the flap was measured and then compared on postoperative days 3, 7 and 10. Using a laser Doppler, the amount of blood flow was measured. On postoperative day 10, tissues were harvested for histologic examination and the number of blood vessels was counted. Results: There was a significant increase in the area of the flap survival in the RLX group on postoperative days 3 and 7. The Doppler measurement also showed significantly increased blood flow immediately after the operation and on postoperative days 7 and 10. The number of blood vessels was significantly greater in the RLX group in the tissue harvested on postoperative day 10. The VEGF concentration was significantly higher in the RLX group than others in the tissues harvested on postoperative day 10. Conclusion: Following an analysis of the effects of relaxin-secreting adenovirus on the survival of a flap, the surviving area of the flap and the blood flow also increased. A histopathology also showed an increase in the number of blood vessels and the concentration of VEGF.

        특허정보는 산업 및 과학기술활동의 혁신지수로서 국가, 지역, 기술, 기업 등 발명의 성과를 반영하고, 기술의 확산 및 R&D의 성과를 측정하는 도구로서 활용가능하다. 본 연구에서는 특허분석을 통하여 기술생산성, 혁신성 및 기술활동성을 분석할 수 있는 지수를 발굴하여 기술성을 평가할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고, 국가적으로 핵심기술로 관심이 모아지고 있는 의약, 운수, 바이오, 섬유, 건설, 기계부품, 정보매체, 전자/통신 산업에 대해 적용하여 기술성을 평가하였다. 기술활동성에 있어서 삶의 질과 생명연장에 대한 관심이 늘어나는 추세를 반영하여 건설, 의약 바이오분야에서 활발한 기술활동이 이루어진 반면에 섬유와 정보매체 분야의 기술활동은 떨어진 것으로 분석되었다. 의약, 바이오, 건설분야가 평균보다 높은 혁신성을 나타내고 있으며, 정보매체 및 전자통신분야의 혁신성이 떨어지는 것으로 분석되었다. 기술생산성에 있어서 특허기술 1건당 발명자가 약 2인 정도로 나타났으며, 최근 들어 기술의 고도화로 인해 기술 개발에 참여하는 연구원의 수가 늘어나면서 기술생산성이 떨어지는 것으로 분석되었다. Patent information as the innovative index for activity of industry, science and technology reflects the inventive outcome of the nation, region, technology, or company etc.. and is able to be used as a tool evaluating the R&D product and technology diffusion. In this study, the index for analysing the productivity, innovation, and activity of the technology is provided to evaluate the technology in fields of the pharmaceutic, transport, biotechnology, textile, construction, machine parts, information media, and electric/telecommunication, which are becoming the national core technology. As a result of analysis, the technology activity in fields of the construction, pharmaceutic, and biotechnology shows a growing trend which reflect the interest in the quality and the extension of the life, but vice versa in fields of the textile, and information media. The innovation index in fields of the construction, pharmaceutic, and biotechnology index more than average, but vice versa in fields of the information media and electric/telecommunication. In case of technology productivity, more than 2 patentees are included in one patented technology. It has been determined that the technology productivity is decreased because of an increasing number of researcher participating the technology development, which is the recent trend of technology advancement.

        신경회로망과 경계요소법을 이용한 원공에서 파생하는 2차원 탄성균열의 응력세기계수 예측 모델링

        Recently the boundary element method has been developed swiftly. The boundary element method is an efficient and accurate means for analysis of two dimensional elastic crack problems. This paper is concerned with the evaluation and the prediction of the stress intensity factor(SIF) for the crack emanating from the circular hole using boundary element method-neural network. The SIF of the crack emanating from the hole was calculated by using boundary element method. Neural network is used to evaluate and to predict SIF from the results of boundary element method. The organized neural network system (structure of four processing element) was learned with the accuracy 99%. The learned neural network system could be evaluated and predicted with the accuracy of 83.3% and 71.4% (in cases of SIF and virtual SIF). Thus the proposed boundary element method-neural network is very useful to estimate the SIF.

        This study proposes the analysis and evaluation method of time series ultrasonic signal using the phase space-frequency domain. Features extracted from time series signal analyze quantitatively characteristics of weld defects. For this purpose, analysis objectives in this study are features of time domain and frequency domain. Trajectory changes in the attractor indicated a substantial difference in fractal characteristics resulting from distance shifts such as parts of head and flange even though the types of defects are identified. These differences in characteristics of weld defects enables the evaluation of unique characteristics of defects in the weld zone. In quantitative fractal feature extraction, feature values of 3.848 in the case of part of head(crack) and 4.102 in the case of part of web(side hole) and 3.711 in the case of part of flange(crack) were proposed on the basis of fractal dimensions. Proposed phase space-frequency domain method in this study can integrity evaluation for defect signals of rail weld zone such as side hole and crack.

        기계안전분야 : 티타늄 용접부의 용접결함평가를 위한 형상인식 특징추출에 관한 연구

        This study proposes feature extraction method of pattern recognition by evaluation of weld defects in weld zone of titanium. For this purpose, analysis objectives in this study are features of attractor quadrant and fractal dimension. Trajectory changes in the attractor indicated a substantial difference in fractal characteristics resulting from distance shifts such as porosity of weld zone. These differences in characteristics of weld defects enables the evaluation of unique characteristics of defects in the weld zone. In quantitative fractal feature extraction, feature values of 0.87 and 1.00 in the case of part of 0.5 skip distance and 0.72 and 0.93 in the case of part of 1.0 skip distance were proposed on the basis of fractal dimensions. Attractor quadrant point, feature values of 1.322 and 1.172 in the case of f1×3 mm porosity and 2.264 and 307 in the case of f3×3mm porosity were proposed on the basis of distribution value. The Proposed feature extraction of pattern recognition in this study can be used for safety evaluation of weld zone in titanium.

        This study proposes the integrity evaluation of the bogie frame using ultrasonic fractography analysis. Analysis objectives in this study are to investigate fracture planes of damaged zone by the A-scan method. The surface condition of fracture planes shows degree of degradation by the stress concentration. The detection of the natural defects in the bogie frame is performed using the characteristics of echodynamic pattern in ultrasonic signal. Results of ultrasonic testing agree fairly well with those of actual fracture plane. In quantitative fractography analysis, microstructures of actual fracture plane turned out to be intergranular and transgranular fracture. Proposed ultrasonic fractography analysis in this study can be used for the integrity evaluation of the bogie frame.

        Fabrication of TiO<sub>2</sub> Nanowires Using Vapor-Liquid-Solid Process for the Osseointegration

        In order to improve osseointegration for biomedical implants, it is crucial to understand the interactions between nanostructured surfaces and cells. In this study, $TiO_2$ nanowires were prepared via Vapor-Liquid-Solid (VLS) process with Sn as a metal catalyst in the tube furnace. Nanowires were grown with $N_2$ heat treatment with their size controlled by the agglomeration of Sn layers in various thicknesses. MC3T3-E1 (pre-osteoblast) were cultured on the $TiO_2$ nanowires for a week. Preliminary results of the cell culture showed that the cells adhere well on the $TiO_2$ nanowires. 임플란트와의 골융합을 향상시키기 위해서 세포와 임플란트 표면의 나노구조의 상호작용에 대한 이해가 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 Sn를 촉매로 이용하여 Vapor-Liquid-Solid 법을 이용하여 $TiO_2$ 나노와이어를 튜브 전기로 안에서 질소기체 조건하에서 합성하였다. 이 때 촉매로 사용된 Sn 박막의 두께에 따라 응집된 나노스피어를 이용하여 $TiO_2$ 나노와이어의 크기를 조절하였다. 골융합을 위한 예비 실험으로써, 만들어진 $TiO_2$ 나노와이어 샘플 위에서 조골전구세포(pre-osteoblast)를 1주일간 배양하였고, 세포가 $TiO_2$ 나노와이어에 잘 결합함을 볼 수 있었다.

      • 신경회로망을 이용한 철도레일 용접부의 건전성평가

        This study proposes the neural network simulator for the integrity evaluation of weld zone in railway rails. For these purposes, the ultrasonic signals for defects(crack) of weld zone in frames are acquired in the type of time series data and echo strength. The detection of the natural defects in railway truck is performed using the characteristics of echodynamic pattern in ultrasonic signal. And then their applications evaluated feature extraction based on the time-frequency-attractor domain(peak to peak, rise time, rise slope, fall time, fall slope, pulse duration, power spectrum, and bandwidth) and attractor characteristics (fractal dimension and attractor quadrant) etc. The constructed neural network simulator agrees fairly well with the measured results of test block(defect location, beam propagation distance, echo strength, etc). The Proposed neural network simulator in this study can be used for the integrity evaluation of weld zone in railway rails.
