특수대학원 학생의 삶의 질에 대한 연구 : 학생복지서비스의 영향을 중심으로

Students in the Specialized Graduate School have higher and diverse needs with the improvement of universal standards of living, but the Specialized Graduate School did not provide enough welfare services for students as main body of operation. Especially welfare factors can enhance students' educational satisfaction, improve quality of life as a student. In the future the operations of the Specialized Graduate School are reflected in for this policy implications which are based on the results of this paper. Research questions are as follows. First, how about the specialized graduate students' satisfaction of the welfare service experience ? Second, how about the specialized graduate students' quality of life according to the demographic characteristics ? Third, do the specialized graduate students' satisfaction of the welfare service experience have a positive impact on the quality of life of them selves? To achieve the purpose of these Studies , from April 14 to 30, e-mail sent out and a questionnaire survey was conducted for 17 days through the help of student council executives and representatives of each department, the answer sheets from 239 respondents among 250 people including recent graduates were gathered, 235 sheets were conducted factor analysis, reliability testing, frequency analysis, multiple regression analysis and the statistical analysis. the results are below. Student welfare service satisfaction can have a positive impact on ' family life ' , ' education ' ,' economic and labor ' , 'social welfare and health' ,'safety and environmental' quality of life except 'culture of life ' quality of life. Based on the results of these studies, the operational policy measures of the school authorities presented below. 1. Aspect of welfare improvement First, the expansion of scholarships relieve the economic burden of student , expansion and improvement of facilities can improve the quality of family life and economic, labor as the components of quality of life Second, the improvement of classroom and library, extension of library hours enhance the learning environment to students, accordingly they can improve the quality of education and social welfare, health. Third, other environmental improvement and expansion of facilities ensure safety and good environment to students in school, accordingly they can improve the quality of safety and environment. 2. In terms of communication between school officials and students The communication between the school authorities and the students is necessary to improve the quality of life Special graduate students. Because of lack of information on welfare service and limited hours, or the use of existing welfare facilities mainly operates at day, the students which are studying at night are in discomfort. Regular meetings between school authorities and the student government organization, institutional arrangements which collect the proposals should be provided. The results of the meeting, informing and availing the welfare services to students through the active promotion can improve their quality of life . 3. Aspects of a student's participation in an autonomous manner Participation should be increased for students' awareness and improvement of welfare services, Satisfaction of welfare services for students has the loyalty to the school and it can appear a positive effect on the school's reputation. Autonomous learning of the Welfare services' importance is a necessary project for students. During the specialized graduate school life, a active life attitude and actions are nessary to increase the satisfaction of welfare services by your own efforts. 특수대학원에서 공부하고 있는 학생들의 관점에서 학교사회복지차원의 복지요인이 학생들의 교육만족도를 높이고, 학생 신분으로서 삶의 질을 개선시킬 수 있는 제도라고 판단한다. 본 연구는 향후에 본 논문의 주제 연구 결과가 특수대학원 운영에 반영되도록 하기 위한 정책적 함의의 목적이 있다. 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수대학원생들의 복지서비스 이용경험만족도는 어떠한가? 둘째, 특수대학원생들의 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 삶의 질은 어떠한가? 셋째, 특수대학원생들의 복지서비스 이용경험만족도는 이들의 삶의 질에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는가? 상기 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울시립대 도시과학대학원 재학생과 최근 졸업자 250명을 대상으로 4월 14일부터 30일까지 약 17일 간 이메일 발송과 원우회 임원, 각 학과 대표의 도움을 통하여 질문지를 통한 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 회수된 설문지 239부 중 불성실한 응답자 4부를 제외한 235부를 요인분석, 신뢰도검사, 빈도분석, 다중회귀분석 등을 실시하여 통계 처리하였고, 제시된 연구문제에 대하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 학생복지서비스 만족은 '가족생활의 삶의 질', '교육의 삶의 질', '경제노동의 삶의 질', '사회복지․보건의 삶의 질','안전․환경의 삶의 질'에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 '문화생활의 삶의 질'에 영향을 미치지 않는다. 위와 같은 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 학생들의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 학교 당국의 운영상 정책적 방안을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 1.복지서비스 개선 측면 첫째, 장학금 확대는 학생들의 경제적 부담을 덜어주고 편의시설 개선 및 확대는 학교생활의 안락함을 향상시킴으로 삶의 질의 구성 요소인 가족생활과 경제․노동의 삶의 질을 개선시킬 수 있다. 둘째, 강의실 시설개선과 도서실 개선 및 시간 연장은 학생들에게 학습 여건을 향상시킴으로 삶의 질의 구성 요소인 교육과 사회복지․보건의 삶의 질을 개선시킬 수 있다. 셋째, 기타환경시설 개선 및 확대는 학생들에게 학교생활에 있어서 안전과 좋은 환경을 보장함으로 삶의 질의 구성 요소인 안전․환경의 삶의 질을 개선시킬 수 있다. 2. 학교 당국과 학생 사이의 소통측면 특수대학원 학생의 삶의 질을 개선시키기 위한 방편으로는 학교 당국과 학생들 간의 소통이 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 복지서비스에 대한 정보 부족과 이용시간 제한으로 인하여 야간 이용 시에 불편함을 해소할 수 있는 대책이 필요한 점이다. 학교 당국과 학생 자치기구인 원우회가 정기적인 회의를 통한 학생들의 건의를 수렴할 수 있는 제도적 장치가 마련되어야 한다. 회의 결과에 따른 의사결정에 대하여는 재학생들에게 복지서비스 이용에 대한 적극적인 홍보를 통하여 알리고 이용하도록 하는 일이 학생들의 삶의 질을 개선시킬 수 있다. 3. 학생의 자율적 태도와 참여측면 학생들의 복지서비스에 대한 인식 개선으로 삶의 질도 높아 질 수 있다. 즉 학생들의 복지서비스에 대한 만족은 학교에 대한 충성도와 학교의 명성에 긍정적인 효과가 나타날 수가 있다는 점이다. 복지서비스의 중요성에 대한 자율적인 학습은 학생들에게는 필요한 과제라고 할 수 있다. 일정 기간에 걸쳐서 특수대학원 생활을 하는 데 있어서 학생 본인 스스로 학생복지서비스의 만족도를 높이기 위해 노력하는 적극적인 삶의 자세와 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 행동이 필요할 것이다.
