Objectives: We studied the clinical utility of meridian electromyography for the assessment of erector spinae muscle in functional leg length inequality. Methods: We compared electrical activity between A group with a functional leg length inequality(n=17) and B group(n=23) in dynamic flexion-reextension state during five minutes. We analyzed amplitudes and areas of electrical activity and asymmetry index(AI). Results: 1. The short leg sides were significantly higher electrical activity than the long leg sides in the experimental group and control group(p<0.05). 2. The AI of A group significantly higher than B group(p<0.05). Conclusions: According to above results, there are correlations between erector spinae muscle and functional leg length inequality.
교통사고 후 요추부 염좌를 진단받은 환자에 대한 추나치료의 효과

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of chuna treatment on lumbar sprain caused by traffic accident. Methods : This study carried out on 20 patients who have received hospital treatment in Semyung University Oriental Hospital. 20 patients were divided 2 groups. Non-chuna group got acupuncture-therapy, herbal medication, physical therapy and chuna group got chuna treatment besides. And then compared the VAS measurments of each group. Results : 1. Both group were significantly improved in VAS after 7 days of treatment. 2. Chuna group compared with Non-chuna group was significantly improved in VAS after 7 days of treatment. Conclusions : We found out that chuna treatment is considered to be effective and useful on lumbar sprain caused by traffic accident.
견갑골 골절 후 견관절 통증 및 관절가동범위 제한을 동반한 환자에 추나와 한방 치료를 시행한 치험 2례

Objectives : This study was performed to evaluate the effects of oriental medical treatments and Chuna treatment on patients with pain and limited range of motion(LOM) about shoulder subsequent to scapular fracture. Methods : Two patients suffered from pain and LOM about shoulder after scapular fracture, one is scapular body fracture with multiple rib fractures, the other is only intraglenoid fracture were treated with Chuna therapy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, physical therapy and measured by VNRS(Verbal numerical rating scale) and ROM (Range of motion). Results : After oriental medical treatments and Chuna treatment, we found out a recovery from two patients suffered from pain and LOM about shoulder subsequent to scapular fracture. Conclusions : Through this study, we suggest that oriental medical treatments and Chuna treatment were effective to cure patients with pain and LOM subsequent to scapular fracture.

Due to the high demand of improved vehicle safety, automotive industry is actively developing active safety systems such as AEB(Autonomous Emergency Braking), AES(Autonomous Emergency Steering). However, in order to optimize such an automatic control system and improve performance, it is very important to consider the influence of the vehicle movement as well as the weather or road surface. Many studies are being conducted to measure and analyze the condition of various road surfaces. In this study we introduce low cost sensor data acquisition system for road condition analysis using raspberry pi computer board. Utilizing this system, synchronized sensor and video data is automatically recorded while driving.
인체의 사지 동작 분석에 기반한 압전 에너지 수확 의류의 탐색적 연구

인체의 동작으로부터 전기 에너지를 수확하려는 압전 에너지 수확에 관한 연구가 최근 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 이러한 압전 에너지 수확 소자를 의류에 적용하여 에너지 수확 의류를 설계하였다. 먼저, 동작 에너지를 수확하는데 적합한 사지의 인체 부위를 밝히기 위해 3차원 모셥 캡쳐를 실시하였고, 그 결과 엉덩이, 팔꿈치, 무릎이 적합한 부위임이 밝혀졌으며, 이 중, 움직임이 자유로운 팔꿈치와 무릎이 동작에너지 수확 부위로 도출되었다. 압전 에너지 수확 소자의 경우 의류에 적용되기 위해서는 유연하면서도 동작에 민감하게 반응되는 새로운 구조가 필요하였으며, 2개 소자를 적층으로 구성하여 발생하는 전력량을 높이는 새로운 방식이 제안 되었다. 의류의 경우 압전 에너지 수확 부위인 팔꿈치와 무릎 부위에서 인체에 잘 밀착되면서 움직임을 제한하지 않는 구조가 요구되었으며, 이에 가장 적합한 무봉제 의류로 제작되었다. 개발된 압전 에너지 수확소자를 부착한 에너지 수확 의류를 시험한 결과 높은 전기에너지 발생 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. Recently, researches of piezoelectric energy harvesting were tried and in this study, a piezoelectric energy harvestingclothes was developed. First, piezoelectric energy harvesting zone on the extremities were drawn by 3D motion capturing and as a result, the hip, the elbow, and the knee were determined. A new structure of piezoelectric harvester was developed for appling to clothes. Because it needed to be flexible and sensitive for human body, the 2 layer stacked structure was proposed. A prototype of seamless garment was designed for a harvesting clothes because it needed to be body-tight and not to restrict the movement. High peak-to-peak voltages were acquired from the energy harvesting clothes.
