여수 제도 연안에서 잘피밭에 서식하는 어류의 종조성 및 계절변동

In 2012, fishes caught by three-side fyke net in the coastal waters of Jedo were assessed for species composition and seasonal fluctuation in their abundance. The fish were caught at two research stations (St.) and were found to comprise 53 species, 39 families, and 9 orders. The dominant species were Takifugu niphobles, Lateolabrax maculatus, and Acanthopagrus schlegelii. To gain a measure of their biodiversity, all the species were assessed for their number, richness, diversity, evenness, and dominance. The highest and lowest number of total caught fish individuals was recorded in summer and winter, respectively. The diversity index was the highest in summer and lowest in winter. The evenness index was the highest in summer and lowest in spring. The richness index was highest in summer and lowest in winter. Furthermore, the dominance index was highest in spring and lowest in autumn.

Monthly fluctuation in abundance and species composition of fish in coastal waters off Oenaro island, Goheung were investigated using seasonal samples collected by a shrimp beam trawl in 2018. A total of 5,981 fishes were sampled and classified into 48 species, 32 families, and 9 orders. The dominant species was Engraulis japonicus (993 individuals, 16.60%), Amblychaeturichthys hexanema (844 individuals, 14.11%), and Thryssa kammalensis (674 individuals, 11.27%). The highest number of individuals was found in August (958 individuals), while the lowest number of individuals was found in January (136 individuals). The diversity index was the highest in November (H’ = 2.37) and the lowest in January (H’ = 1.77).

The diversity index was the highest in November (H’ = 2.37) and the lowest in January (H’ = 1.77). 이 연구는 2018년 1월부터 12월까지 고흥 외나로도에서 조망에 어획된 어류를 대상으로 종조성 및 군집구조를 연구하였다. 어획된 어류는 총 9목 32과 48종이었고, 5,972개체가 어획되었다. 이 중 농어목이 16과 24종으로 가장 많은 출현 종수를 보였고, 우점종은 멸치(993개체, 16.60%), 도화망둑(844개체, 14.11%), 청멸(674개체, 11.27%) 순이었다. 가장 많은 개체수가 출현한 달은 958개체가 어획된 8월이었고, 1월에 193개체로 가장 적은 개체가 어획되었다. 다양도 지수는 11월에 2.37로 가장 높았고, 1월에 0.67로 가장 낮게 나타났다.

Sampling gears for collecting fish are diverse, and the community of fish varies according to the selection and characteristics of the sampling gears. The present study compared the characteristics of fish communities in Yedang reservoir using four sampling gears (kick net, cast net, gill net, and fyke net). The kick net and cast net were inefficient in collecting the number of individuals. However, they increased the species diversity of fish inhabiting the waterfront. Although not many individuals were collected, the gill net mainly collected large fish. The largest number of individuals was collected in the fyke net, and the dominance was high due to the high species selectivity. Through Self-Organizing Map (SOM) analysis, large fish were collected in the gill net, whereas small fish were collected in the fyke net. The characteristics and efficiency of the fish differed depending on the sampling gears. It is expected that researchers will need to use it appropriately according to the characteristics of the sampling gears when investigating the fish community.
