monema flavescens was collected from Chon-ju, Wan-ju, and Kim-jae areas from 1989 to 1992 and was reared in rearing rooms. Bionomical studies including the occurrence of natural enemies were carried out and the results are as follows: Monema flavescens has 2 generations a year In Chonbuk area. Moth deposited eggs on the edge of the leaves and Y type branches were preferably chosen as sites for cocoon. Moth preferred broad-leaved trees such as Diospyros kaki and Cercis chinensis, however were also found on Diospyros kaki, Cercis chinensis, Zizyphus jujuba, Prunus sargentii and Zelkova serrata etc. Two parasitoids, Eurytoma sp. and Paragambrus sapporonis, emerged from cocoons and the two species could be seperated even in the field by the morphological characteristics of the escaping hole on the cocoons.

최근 과학 기술의 빠른 발전에 따라 대용량 자료가 출현하였고 이에 대한 분석의 중요도도 높아졌다. 대용량 자료의 분석에 가장 중요한 부분중 하나가 고성능 컴퓨팅 기법이고 본 논문에서는 최근 통계학계의 많은 관심을 받고 있는 GPU (graphics processing unit)기반 병렬 계산에 대한 기초적인 소개를 한다. Recent advances in computer technology introduce massive data and their analysis becomes important. The high performance computing is one of the most essential part in analysis of massive data. In this paper, we review the general purpose of the graphics processing unit and its application to parallel computing, which has been of great interest in statistics communities.

The antioxidant activities of two persimmon (Diospyros kaki T.) branches were evaluated. After preparing acetone, 70% acetone, and methanol extracts from Fuyu and Nishimurawase persimmon branches, DPPH radical scavenging activity (RSA), ABTS RSA, reducing power (RP), and total phenol contents (TPC) were determined. The acetone extracts of Fuyu and Nishimurawase showed higher antioxidant properties than the other extracts. The highest TPC (22.48 mg/g), DPPH RSA IC50=701.48 µg/mL), ABTS RSA (IC50=493.76 µg/mL), and RP (IC50=1218.57 µg/mL) were found in acetone extract of Fuyu, while the lowest antioxidant activities were in 70% acetone extract of Nishimurawase. The results suggest that sweet persimmon branches exhibit considerable antioxidant activity. 경남 진영에서 재배되고 있는 부유와 서촌조생 품종의 감나무 가지를 각각 메탄올, 아세톤, 70% 아세톤으로 추출한 후 항산화 활성을 조사하였다. 총 페놀 함량의 경우, 부유 감나무 가지의 아세톤 추출물이 620.74 mM GAE로써 가장 높았고, 서촌조생 감나무 가지의 아세톤 추출물은 525.91 mM GAE이었다. 항산화 활성은 DPPH 라디칼 소거능, ABTS 라디칼 소거능, 환원력으로 측정하였다. DPPH 라디칼 소거능, ABTS 라디칼 소거능, 환원력 모두 부유 감나무 가지의 아세톤 추출물에서 가장 높은 활성을 보였으며, 메탄올과 70% 아세톤 추출물 순으로 높은 활성을 나타내었다. 이상의 결과로 부유 감나무 가지가 서촌조생 감나무 가지에 비해 높은 항산화 활성을 가지며, 용매별로는 아세톤 추출물이 높은 항산화 활성을 가지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해 단감 나뭇가지가 천연 항산화제로서 가능성을 가지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

In this paper, the single round type and the multilayered type actuator using PZT powders were manufactured and their piezoelectric, displacement and time response characteristics were investigated. In the single round type actuator, the piezoelectric coefficient and the displacement increased with sintering temperature. In the multilayered actuator, the piezoelectric coefficient and the displacement increased with the layered number. In ten layered case, the piezoelectric coefficient and the displacement were higher over three times and six times than those of the single round type, respectively. At the voltage applied, the response velocity of the multilayered type was higher over two times than that of the single round type.
