        방사선과 폐수산자원을 이용한 하수 농축슬러지 처리에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 하수처리장에서 발생되는 농축슬러지의 처리방법에 대해 진행하였다. 방사선을 15 kGy 조사하였을 때 농축슬러지에 존재하는 일반세균 및 대장균을 99% 이상 제거, 유기물 분해등 소화조에서 일어나는 공정을 대체 할 수 있다. 폐수산자원인 불가사리를 가공하여 제조한 물리개량제를 첨가하여 응집공정의 효율을 높이고 아울러 함수율 10% 이상의 저감효과를 얻을 수 있다. This study was focused on the treatment of thickened sewage sludge. General bacteria and E. coli were disinfected over 99% and organic compounds were decomposed after irradiation. It was suggested that this process can be an alternative for digestion Process. The moisture content in sludge was decreased over 10% (w/w) and the coagulation of sludge particles was enhanced by irradiation at the dose of 15 kGy and addition of sea waste resource (star-fish) as a dewatering aid.

        하이개부에 발생한 모기질종

        Pilomatricoma or calcifying epithelioma is a benign tumor of hair follicle origin. Pilomatricoma presents a slowly enlarged and asymptomatic mass that located dermal or subdermal area. It showed mostly on face and upper limb and head and neck represents 50% of all case. And it developed almostly in the first 2 decade of life. Histologically, encapsulated mass composed of solid small basophilic cells and eosinophilic ghost cells. Surgical excision is the treatment choice and rarely recurs. The purpose of this article is to represent of pilomatricoma on subauricular region that treated with mass excision and local transpositional flap. Althrough the presurgical diagnosis of pilomatricoma may be difficult, clinicians must keep in mind the differential of head and neck masses that located subdermal layers.

        류마티스 관절염의 최신 치료 경향

        류마티스 관절염은 최근의 학문적 발전에도 불구하고 완치법이 아직 개발되지 않고 있는 만성 염증성 질환이며 관절의 손상을 초래하여 여러 가지 심각한 문제를 유발할 수 있다. 그러나 다방면의 의학 발전에 힘입어 류마티스 관절염의 치료는 최근 10년 간 괄목할 만한 발전을 거두고 있다. 치료에서 최근 약 십 여 년간 나타난 가장 큰 변화는 우선 과거와는 다른 새로운 개념의 치료 약제의 개발로서 한 가지 물질을 목표로 개발된 화합물 및 생물학적 제제의 등장을 들 수 있고, 류마티스 관절염의 활성을 적절하게 종합적으로 측정할 수 있는 outcome measure들의 활용이 가능해졌으며, 과거 사용하던 단계적인 치료법에서 탈피한 새로운 치료 방침, 즉 초기부터 강력한 병합 요법을 비롯하여 질병의 활성도를 조절함으로써 환자의 임상 증상을 조절하고, 나아가서는 관절의 변형을 억제하여 삶의 질을 개선할 수 있게 되었다. 본고에서는 최근 치료의 발전을 정리하고 향후 우리의 나아갈 방향에 대하여 토의하고자 한다. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic and destructive inflammatory disease resulting in disability During the past 10 years. developments in medical science have improved RA treatment significantly, but have not proven curative. The most important developments over the past 10 years are the followings: 1) an emergence of new therapeutic agent against a specific single molecule or target, including biologic and chemical agents, 2) development and clinical usage of various outcome measures to detect disease activity more accurately and 3) introduction of new strategies in the treatment such as early and aggressive combination trials, depending on the disease activity Over the course of these activities, we have been able to control clinical symptoms and signs more effectively, and slow the destruction of the joint, and finally improve the quality of life in RA patients. Here, we discuss the recent development of RA treatment and a perspective on future development.

        류마토이드 관절염에 대한 Thymopentin 의 치료효과에 관한 임상적 연구

        N/A Thymopentin is a synthetic pentapeptide corresponding to residues of 32-36 of the parent thymic hormone, thymopoietin, and has been shown to have some immunomodulating actions, especially on T lymphocytes. Thymopentin was used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, and its clinical efficacy was noted by a few investigators. We experienced the antirheumatic effect and side reaction of thymopentin in 20 patients with active rheumatoid arthritis. The results were as follow; 1) Eleven out of the 20patients studied were classified as responders. 2) With thymopentin treatment, clinical rheumatic activity improved moderately in 2patients, minimally in 9patients, uchanged in 7patients, and worsened in 2patients. 3) ESR was changed after the 10th and 12th week but not changed during thymopentin therapy. 4) The Ritchie articular index, swollen joint score, the number of painful joints on motion and rest, and the patients self-assessment of pain improved between the 6th and 8th week, but the grip strength of both hands and the duration of morining stiffness were not changed significantly. 5) Side reactions were found in only 3 patients and eliminated without specific medical intervention. In summary, thymopentin could be administered without serious side effects for 8weeks. Although the clinical effect was noted after 6weeks of treatment, the antirheumatic effect of thymopentin was not significant. It may be necessary to conduct further studies regarding a more simple method of administration, combination therapy with conventianal I)MARD, and maintenance therapy of thympentin.

        연골표면에 침착한 면역물질의 양상에 관한 연구

        N/A Background: Immune deposits were found on the articular surface of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis even though the prevalence and pattern of immune deposits were differnt between rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Authors conducted this study to compare the pattern and positive rate of immune deposits on surface of articular cartilage between rheumatoid arhtritis and osteorthritis. Methods: Articular cartilages were obtained from patients who were conducted total joint replacement surgery at knee or hip joint. Selected cases were 15cases of rheumatoid arthritis, 45cases of osteoarthritis. Immune deposits were searched using direct immunofluorescent technique with FITC conjugated anti-IgG, IgA, IgM, C, antibody. Results: 1) Positive rate of immune deposits on articular cartilage was 66.7% in rheumatoid arthrtis and 26.7% in osteoarthritis. 2) Granular staining pattern was found in only 6patients out of 10positive patients with rheumatoid arthritis. In osteoarthritis, the pattern of immune deposits was not granular but nongranular pattern such as intermittent linear or linear pattern. 3) Positive rate in primary osteoarthrits and secondary arthritis was 32%, and 26.7% respectively. 4) Rheumatoid factor was reactive not only in 6cases with granular pattern but also in 3cases without immune deposits and in 2cases with nongranular pattern. Coclusion: Immune deposits was found more frequently in rheumatoid arthritis than osteoarthritis and granular pattern was noted in cases with rheumatoid arthritis only. The differences in prevalence and pattern of immune deposits between rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis may be due t different antigen, mechanism of immune deposition or another unknown factors. Further investigation have to be conducted in these respects.

        대학운동선수의 라이프스타일이 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among the life-style, career decision level, career preparation behavior for collegiate that helps the career decision and career preparation for collegiate athletes after graduating school and provides the basic actual proof data for creating program of career decisional preparation to coach. The subject of this study was selected using the convenience sampling method from chosen athletes population attending at the collegiate in Seoul and Kyoung-gi province. Of all those 500 respondents, 91 samples were deleted. At the result, a total of 409 samples was used for the data analysis. Through this process, the results were as follows: First, completism was negative influence to direction consultation. Second, style-pursuit was positive influence to direction conversation. Last, career decision level was positive influence to finding direction and direction consultation.

        Hadoop 기반 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서 네트워크 I/O의 성능개선을 위한 TIPC의 적용과 분석

        Recently with increase of data in the Internet, platform technologies that can process huge data effectively such as Google platform and Hadoop are regarded as worthy of notice. In this kind of platform, there exist network I/O overheads to send task outputs due to the MapReduce operation which is a programming model to support parallel computation in the large cluster system. In this paper, we suggest applying of TIPC (Transparent Inter-Process Communication) protocol for reducing network I/O overheads and increasing network performance in the distributed computing environments. TIPC has a lightweight protocol stack and it spends relatively less CPU time than TCP because of its simple connection establishment and logical addressing. In this paper, we analyze main features of the Hadoop-based distributed computing system, and we build an experimental model which can be used for experiments to compare the performance of various protocols. In the experimental result, TIPC has a higher bandwidth and lower CPU overheads than other protocols. 최근 인터넷 서비스 기반의 데이터는 대용량화되고 있으며 대용량 데이터를 효과적으로 처리할 수 있는 구글 플랫폼, Apache Hadoop과 같은 플랫폼 기술이 각광받고 있다. 이러한 플랫폼에서는 분산 프로그래밍을 위한 기법으로 MapReduce가 수행되며, 이 과정에서 각 태스크의 결과를 전달하기 위한 네트워크 I/O의 부하 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 구글 플랫폼, Hadoop과 같은 대규모 PC 클러스터 상의 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서 네트워킹 부하를 경감하고 성능을 향상시키는 방안으로 TIPC(Transparent Inter-Process Communication)의 적용을 제안한다. TIPC는 경량화된 연결설정 및 스택 크기, 계층적 주소체계로 인해 TCP보다 가볍고 CPU 부하가 적은 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Hadoop 기반 분산컴퓨팅 환경의 특징을 분석하여 그와 유사한 실험환경을 모델화하고 다양한 프로토콜의 비교실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 평균 전송률에서 CUBIC-TCP, SCTP와 비교해 TIPC의 성능이 가장 우수하였으며, TIPC는 CPU 점유율 측면에서 TCP와 비교해 최대 15%의 낮은 CPU 점유율을 보였다.

        한국인에서 류마토이드 관절염과 제 2 형 조직적합항원과의 연관성에 관한 연구

        N/A Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized as destructive polyarthritis and has evidence of immunogenetic and environmental elements in its etiologic factors. Many studies document that one of the key genetic elements is closely linked to the class II major histocompatibility complex located in chromosome 6. Although it is not. known precisely how HLA genes contribute to disease susceptibility, many studies document a close association between rheumatoid arthritis and the specific histocompatibility marker, HLA-DR4. However, studies of HLA-DR4 in disease severity have yielded conflictiing results. Association between HLA- DR4 and the rheumatoid factor, earlier age of onset, increased general disease severity and more erosive radiographic changes have been reported, but these associations have not been confirmed in other studies. In addition, there has been no report regarding the association between rheumatoid arthritis and class II MHC in Koreans. Therefore this is the first epidemiologic study regarding the association between rheumatoid arthritis and class II MHC. The disrtibution of class II major histocompatibility complex and association between HLA- DR4 and disease severity were analyzed in 206 Korean patients with rheumatoid arthritis in this study. The results were as follows: 1) HLA-DR4 was associated with rheumatoid arthritis in 61.6% of the patients studied. The relative risk and etiologic fraction of HLA-DR4 were 2.47 and 0.367, respectively. HLA-DR1 was positive in 11.1% and the etiologic fraction of HLA-DR1 was 0.008. Therefore HLA-DR4 was associated strongly with rheumatoid arthritis in Koreans, similar to other ethnic populations, but HLA-DR1 was not associated with rheumatoid arthritis in Koreans. 2) HLA-DR2 was positive in 19.9% and the preventive fraction of HLA-DR2 was 0.205. HLA-DR7 was positive in 4.3% and the preventive fraction of HLA- DR7 was 0.011. Hence HLA-DR2 was the most preventive class II MHC against the development of rheumatoid arthritis in this study. 3) HLA-Dgw3 was positive in 62.1% and the relative risk of HLA-DQw3 was 1.65, HLA-DQw7, which was known as HLA-DQw3.1, was positive in 20.5% and HLA-DR4 Dgw7 haplotype was positive in 15% of the total number of patients. 4) HLA-DR4 was significantly associated with a more advanced ARA anatomical grade and more severe radiographic changes, including bony erosion, joint space, narrowing and total radiographic score. 5) The rheumatoid facor was positive in 84.3% of the HLA-DR4 positive patients and positive in 82.3% of the HLA-DR4 negative patients. HLA-DR4 v as positive in 62.2% of the 172 seropositive patients and positive in 58.8% of the 34 seronegative patients. Therefore HLA-DR4 was not associated significantly with the presence of a rheumatoid factor in this study. 6) HLA-DR4 was not associated significantly with joint count (Ritchie index), ARA functional class, ESR, C-reactive protein or other demographic data. HLA-DR4 was not associated significantly with the positive rate of ANA, cryoglobulin. 7) Homozygous HLA-DR4 patients were 31 out of 127 DR4-positive patients and showed more advanced ARA anatomical stage and radiographic changes than heterozygous DR4 patients, but the difference was statistically insignificant. In summary, HLA-DR4 was significantly associated with rheumatoid arthritis in Koreans, similar to other ethnic populations, Also HLA-DR4 was significantly associated with more destructive arthritis, but not associated with rheumatoid factor positivity and the parameters representing disease activity of rheumatoid arthritis.
