        기업 업무 지원을 위한 모바일 클라우드 서비스 플랫폼

        모바일기기의 '스마트화'로 인해 소비자들의 모바일기기를 활용한 서비스의 이용 빈도가 높아지면서 서비스 이용에 있어서 시간적, 공간적 제약이 없는 클라우드 서비스에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 이런 트렌드는 기업업무 환경에도 영향을 주어 사무실에서 PC를 활용하여 수행했던 고전적인 업무 행태를 벗어나 시간과 장소에 구애 없이 스마트 모바일기기로 업무를 수행하는 '스마트워크 (Smart-work)'가 확산되고 있는데 주로 스마트 모바일기기로 이용가능한 공동 문서작업, 화상회의, 자료검색 등의 솔루션 제공 차원에 머물고 있어서 스마트워크를 도입하고자 하는 기업 입장에서 다양한 기업업무용 애플리케이션 개발과 운영의 비용절감을 위한 클라우드 서비스 플랫폼이 필요하다. 이에, 본 논문은 기업업무 서비스용 모바일 애플리케이션 개발을 지원하고 개발된 애플리케이션을 PaaS(Platform as a Service) 형태로 모바일기기에 서비스하는 모바일 클라우드 서비스 플랫폼을 제안한다. As a smart mobile device is gaining popularity as a tool to utilize internet services, the demand on the cloud service (which eliminates the spatial and/or temporal restrictions in enjoying the services) is increasing. This trend also has an effect on the style of performing business tasks so that the concept of 'smart-work' (e.g. doing business tasks in anywhere and anytime) is being spread over the industries. The facilities for the smart-work is, however, focused on providing the tools designed to supporting business tasks such as co-working in writing documents, video conference, searching data via smart (mobile) devices neglecting the industries' needs for the infrastructure by which they can create their own business applications and mobile cloud services at a low (or moderate) price. The paper proposes a mobile cloud service platform, which provides an SDK for developing business applications and offers the applications to smart mobile devices as a PaaS (Platform as a Service).

        뇌졸중 환자의 구음장애에 대한 경두개 직류 전류 자극의 효과

        Objective: To investigate whether transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) can improve dysarthria in stroke patients. Method: Twelve patients who developed dysarthria after acute middle cerebral artery (MCA) infarction were included in this study. In a prospective, double blinded, randomized case control study performed between January 2007 and December 2008, six patients were randomized to anodal tDCS application and conventional speech therapy, and six patients were randomized to the sham group which received only conventional speech therapy. tDCS was delivered for 30 minutes at 2 mA with 25cm2, five times/week, for a total two weeks. The effects were assessed in maximal phonation time (MPT), alternative motion rates (AMR)-Pa, AMR-Ta, AMR-Ka, and sequential motion rates (SMR)-PaTaKa using the Multi-Media Dimension Voice Program. Results: Pre-treatment patient evaluation showed no significant difference between the two groups for all parameters. The MPT, AMR-Pa, AMR-Ta, AMR-Ka, and SMR-PaTaKa were improved pre- and post-treatment in the stimulation group, while MPT, SMR-PaTaKa were improved in the sham group (p<0.05). The AMR-Pa significantly improved in the stimulation group compared to the sham group (p<0.05). Conclusion: As these results demonstrated the beneficial effects of anodal tDCS on dysarthria, tDCS can successfully be used as a treatment modality for patients suffering from dysarthria after stroke.         디지털방송 단말의 HTML5 기반 웹 애플리케이션 실행 플랫폼

        디지털기술의 발전으로 방송과 통신 영역 간에 융합이 이루어지면서 소비자의 다양한 디바이스를 통한 서비스(애플리케이션) 이용에 공간적, 시간적 제약을 제거하는 노력이 진행되고 있다. 특히 애플리케이션의 공통 실행 플랫폼으로 웹 (Web)의 중요성이 대두되면서 N-스크린 개념에 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있는 디지털방송 단말도 기존 데이터 서비스의 표준으로 삼고 있던 자바 (Java) 애플리케이션뿐만 아니라 웹 애플리케이션을 실행할 수 있는 플랫폼으로 발전하도록 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 디지털방송 단말의 웹 애플리케이션 실행 플랫폼은 HTML5를 기반의 웹 애플리케이션 실행 엔진인 웹 커널과 웹 애플리케이션의 관리를 위한 윈도우 운영체제의 바탕화면 관리자와 유사한 웹 데스크탑, 그리고 웹 애플리케이션 개발자를 위한 SDK를 제공한다. 특히, 웹과 TV 영역의 기술적 접목을 통해 HTML5 기반 웹 애플리케이션이 프로그램 편성정보와 같은 방송 부가정보와 디지털방송 단말의 자원을 자유롭게 활용할 수 있는 웹 애플리케이션 개발 프레임워크를 제공한다. Due to the development of the digital technology, the territories of broadcasting and telecommunications are being converged and there have been the efforts to eliminate the spatial and/or temporal restrictions in utilizing the services (usually implemented as applications) via various devices (e.g. smart-phone, smart TV, pad-computer, etc). In the circumstances, Web is coming to the fore as a common running platform of the services and the digital broadcasting receivers are pressed to run Web applications as well as Java applications, which are the standard of data service of the digital broadcasting. The paper introduces a platform for running HTML5-based Web applications, which is equipped with a Web kernel (an engine for running HTML5 Web applications), a Web desktop (the facilities (with an UI similar to Window OS) for managing Web applications), and SDK (a set of API's for Web application developers).

        교합성 골수강내 금속정으로 치료한 대퇴골 간부 골절

        Femoral shaft fractures result from high energy trauma such as traffic accident or falls, and it is frequently accompanied by multiple fractures and several other organ injuries. Intramedullary nail is the effective device available for patient with appropriate fracture of the femoral shaft, and it may also prevent several complications, such as infections and delayed union that can be caused by periosteum and soft tissue injury. Rigid internal fixation of the femoral shaft fracture with interlocking intramedullary nails presents a significant advance in the management of unstable fractures and provides longitudinal and rotational stability as well as early joint motion and weight bearing. This procedure has been used with wide popularity because it is possible simultaneously to preserve the range of motion and to obtain the bone union. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the differences of the functional results and duration of the bone union based on Winquist-Hansen classification. Also we analyzed the causes of the complications and results of the treatment. Forty one cases of the femoral shaft fractures were treated with interlocking intramedullary nailing during the period from January 1993 to June 1995 over 12 months follow up. The results were as follows: 1. Among 41 cases of the femoral shaft fractures, static nailings were used in 34 cases and 7 cases with dynamic nailings, then bone union was achieved at 18 weeks for static mode and 15 weeks for dynamic mode respectively. 2. Intraoperative complications were new fractures near the original fracture site(2 cases) and femur neck(l case). 3. Postoperative complications were delayed union(4 cases), metal failure(1 case), limb shortening(l case) and distal screw breakage(1 case). 4. Delayed union developed in 4 cases with static mode, but bone union was achieved at average of 22 weeks after changing to dynamic mode at 15 weeks. 5. Functional results were assessed by Karlstrom and Olerud criteria and 80% of the patients were in excellent and good results.

        마이크로 그리드용 공통플랫폼 서비스 개발 도구

        마이크로 그리드는 기존의 대규모 전력망이 가진 여러 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 새로운 전력망 개념으로 세계적으로 국가차원에서 연구 및 개발 중이다. 이러한 배경에서 마이크로 그리드 내 장치 및 시스템 간 상호운영기술 및 신규시장 Enabler 확보를 위해 마이크로 그리드용 공통 플랫폼이 개발 중으로 이는 Third-Party 사업자에게 개방형 API 기능을 통해 전력정보를 제공하여 비즈니스 모델을 지원하도록 한다. 마이크로 그리드용 공용 플랫폼에 접속하여 전력 어플리케이션을 개발하고자하는 사업자는 서비스 개발 및 배포를 지원하는 통합 개발 환경이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문은 마이크로그리드용 공통플랫폼의 어플리케이션 개발 및 배포를 위한 PaaS(Platform as a Service) 형태의 서비스 개발도구를 제안한다. Micro Grid is a new concept of electrical grid to solve several problems of Mega-Grid and it is under research and development at the national level around the world. With this background, Micro Grid Common Platform has been developed for interoperability technology of devices-systems in Micro Grid and securing enabler for new market. For supporting business models, Micro Grid Common Platform provides electric power information to Third-Party licensee via Open API function. Licensee, who want to develop electric power application by connecting to Micro Grid Common Platform, needs IDE(Integrated Development Environment) for service development and distribution. The paper proposes a service development tool for developing applications of Micro Grid Common Platform as a PaaS (Platform as a Service).

        제한수신 기능 기반 T-DMB 시스템

        현재 지상파 이동 멀티미디어방송(T-DMB)은 국지적인 재난경보 방송을 실시하거나 다양한 방송을 시청할 수 있다. 그러나 전파 음영 지역에는 시설 투자의 한계로 인해 서비스가 제한되고 있는 실정이다. 또한 T-DMB 시청이 불가능한 모바일 디바이스들도 있기에 T-DMB는 제한된 지역과 모바일 디바이스들만 시청할 수 있는 방송이라는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 T-DMB의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 T-DMB 방송을 수신하여 모바일 디바이스로 재전송해주는 시스템을 연구하였다. 이를 통해 T-DMB 수신이 불가능한 모바일 디바이스에서도 방송을 수신하여 시청할 수 있으며 제한수신 기능을 통한 단방향/양방향 인증 메커니즘을 제공하여 등록되어 있는 사용자에 한해서 방송을 시청할 수 있도록 시스템을 구성하였다. Current terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (T-DMB) is conducting the emergency alert broadcast, or can view a variety of broadcasting. However, propagation shadow area is a situation where the service is limited due to limitations of facilities investment. In addition, there is the problem of T-DMB broadcasting is for viewing only a restricted area and a mobile device because the mobile is also T-DMB viewing device impossible. In this paper, it receives a T-DMB broadcasting as a way to solve the problems of the T-DMB system, which was studied the re transmission to the mobile device. Accordingly, by receiving the broadcast may be watched in the mobile device the T-DMB reception impossible. Also provides a one-way/two-way authentication mechanism using a conditional access function, and the system was configured so that the user can watch only the registered broadcasting.

        Supplementary Motor Area Syndrome and Flexor Synergy of the Lower Extremities

        Clinical presentation of supplementary motor area (SMA) syndrome includes complete akinesia of the contralateral side of the body and mutism, with secondary recovery of neurologic deficit. Multi-joint coordination is frequently impaired following the development of a brain lesion and is generally restricted by abnormal patterns of muscle activation within the hemiparetic limb, clinically termed muscle synergies. However, no work to date has confirmed this observation with the aid of objective methods, such as gait analysis, and the development of reflex pattern has not been suggested as a possible cause. We describe two unusual cases of flexor synergy after tumor resection of SMA lesions.

      • 비전형적인 운동신경세포병: 위팔근육위축양측마비

        Brachial amyotrophic diplegia is a rare disease presenting with severe weakness that is completely confined to the upper limbs over time without upper motor neuron sign. It might be a stable and relatively benign variant of motor neuron disease and should be differentiated from other motor neuropathies. A 60-year-old man presented with a two year history of symmetrical muscle wasting and weakness in his arm and shoulder girdle. Bulbar and leg muscle were not affected and he was independent in ambulation. Nerve conduction studies revealed normal except the low amplitude of median and ulnar compound muscle action potential with no evidence of conduction block. Needle electromyography showed denervation potential and neuropathic motor unit action potential throughout the upper limb. We report this case with a brief review of related literatures.
