        부모자녀관계와 청소년의 정서지능

        This study was aimed to identify the effect of the parenting attitudes and communication styles perceived by adolescent on the emotional intelligence of adolescent. The subjects were 512 middle school students in Daegu city. The result showed that adolescents whose parents had parenting style combined warmth with control and communicated openly with their children attained most high scores in all sub-factors of emotional intelligence. Finally, the cannonical correlation analysis between the group of parent-child relation variables and the group of emotional intelligence vaiables revealed that parental warmth and open communication had the positive correlation with emotional expression, emotional regulation, and emotional utility of adolescents.

      • 대구지역 보육시설의 현황과 과제

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the current states and problems of day care facilities and suggest the implications to child care policy. The statistical data were obtained from the official data provided by Daegu city. Findings showed that 1) unbalance of demand and supply of day care service existed regionally, 2) day care service was heavily provided by private facilities rather than by public facilities. and 3)there were a short of special services as day care for infant and the handicapped child and after-school service. The results of this study suggest that the policy has to lay stress on increasing establishment of public facilities and special service centers and adopt the permission system for the establishment of day care centers.

      • 學童期 以前 子女에 對한 農村아버지의 役割

        The purpose of this study is identify the trend of the father role performance for children and to find out which factor of 7 socio-economic variables(ie., father's age, educational level, occupation, the number of children, the sex composition of children, family structure and monthly income) have significant correlation with the father role-performance. The subjects of this study are 163 fathers who have children under 6th grade of elementary school in rural area. Seven hypotheses are tested concerning the relationship between variables. In order to test the hypotheses, frequency distribution, factor analysis, F-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, partial correlation, and multiple regression are applied. Major findings are; 1. By factor analysis, father role is divided into two areas of nurturance and control. 2. Father's age and educational level make significant differences in two areas of father role. 3. The number of children and the sex-composition of children make significant differences in father's role performance in the area of nurturance and no difference in the area of control. 4. Family's age is the most influential income make no difference in both areas of father role. 5. Father's age is the most influential independent variable on the rural father's role performance in the area of nurturance.

      • 애착문제를 갖는 아동의 놀이치료 사례연구 : A case study

        The purpose of this study is to examine the efficacy of playtherapy on the child with attachment problem. At the beginning of the study, the child(39-months old girl) had failed to build attachment relationship with parents and showed anxiety of being afraid to be separated from her mother and that attachment disorder also caused physical symptom This therapy used Virginia Axline’s child-centered playtherapy approach and the sand-play therapy method. Also counselling with the child’s mother was implemented to facilitate the effect of the playtherapy on parent-child relationship. The results of this study are as follows. First, this playtherapy deminished physical symptom of the child. The child showed difficulty in going to a toilet and disliked to eat foods at the start of this study. As this playtherapy went on, she tried to go to a toilet and showed interest in what food she liked. Second, this playtherapy had some positive effect on the parent-child relationship. As the mother observed the process of the playtherapy, she realized what her daughter really wanted. And she report that her daughter’s relationship has improved with her father. Third, this playtherapy also helped to improve the child’s relationship with her friends. As the child made a new relationship with the therapist, she had a positive expectation of a future teacher and showed interest on dance-school. And, she made many new friends not only in play situation but also in real situation.

        유아의 정서, 행동문제와 관련된 변인에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of related variables on young children's emotional and behavioral problems. The subjects of this study were 232 mothers of preschoolers aged 6 to 7 living in Daegu. The major findings were 1)that the boys showed more aggressive and attention-deficit hyperactive behavior than girls. 2)The significantly contributing factor to preschooler's emotional and behavioral problems were their own temperament, mothers' mental health, and mothers' emotional refusal attitudes to their children. The more difficult the child's temperament, the child showed more emotional and behavioral problems. And children with mothers of bad mental health and emotionally refusing attitude showed the more emotional and behavioral problems.

      • 아동후기에서 청소년기에 이르는 성역할고정관념의 발달적 경향에 관한 연구

        This study is to identify developmental trends and sex differences in sex-role stereotypes during the late childhood and adolescence. For this purpose, I investigated the three types of sex-role stereotypes--occupational, household aetivities, personality---of 554 subjects in 6th, 8th, and 10th grades. The results indicated that there were remarkable sex differences in stereotypic response. Boys were found to exhibit far more stereotypic response than girls in the three types of sex role stereotypes at any age level. Additionally, among boys there were no indication of age difference in sex role stereotypes of occupation and household activities, but the indication of slight difference in personality stereotypes through age groups. Their stereotypic responses were reduced in old age groups. On the other hand, girls' three types of sex-role stereotypes sharply declined. These results are discussed in view of the different effects of social and cultural change on both sexes.

        AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find suggestions for the direction of adolescent sexuality education program development by reviewing the literature and survey data. The viewpoint on human sexuality and sexuality education is that human sexuality should be understood as a value-oriented conduct and sexual activities should be considered as a kind of expression of interpersonal relationship.Sexuality education aims to instruct adolescent to have sexual identity such as self-determination and responsibility. Therefore, a sexuality education program should consist of the contents including understanding of sexuality, sex culture in contemporary societies that is the double standards of sexual behavior and sexual violence as well as the specific knowledge on masturbation, contraception and so on.The methods of sexuality education program need to be developed in many ways such as reading and visual materials. Additionally, the goal of sexual education would be better accomplished when it is implemented in a small class and discussion group.
