        대학생의 기술적 문제해결 성향과 공학설계 역량 간의 관계 분석

        The purpose of this study is to correlation analysis between technological problem-solving traits and engineering design competency. To this end, correlation analysis and regression analysis between technological problem-solving traits and engineering design competency were used to analyze the relationship between each other. To collect data on individual characteristics, technological problem-solving traits, and engineering design competency, a survey was conducted with university students. As a result of the analysis, there was no difference in engineering design competency by gender, but there was a difference in technological problem-solving traits. There wasno difference in technological problem-solving traits by major, but there was a difference in engineering design competency. As a resultof correlation analysis, the correlation was found. In the case of regression analysis, a statistically significant result was found in theproblem-solving trait domain, and the regression analysis model was found to be suitable. The results of the analysis of differencesin engineering design competency according to technological problem-solving traits showed that the effective problem solvers were significantlyhigher.

        융복합 Capstone Design 활동이 공학설계 역량에 미치는 효과 분석

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the educational effects of convergence Capstone Design activities. To this end, it analyzed the difference in engineering design competency before and after completing the curriculum in the Capstone Design process, where students from various majors team up, and analyzed the impact of convergence Capstone Design activities on engineering design competency. A survey study was conducted on experimental participants to collect data on individual characteristics and engineering design competency, and to analyze differences by background variable. As a result of analysis according to background variables, the engineering design competency was improved afterwards than before, except for some competency areas.

        미국 공학교육 연구 동향 : Journal of Engineering Education을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to provide a direction for domestic engineering education research by analyzing the research trends of JEE(Journal of Engineering Education). The results of analyzing research trends regarding research topics, research objects and research methods are as follows. First, by research topic, ‘Diffusion of Educational Innovation’ was found to have the highest proportion with 52 articles(21%). Second, by research objects, university students showed the highest proportion with 148 articles(53.6%). Third, by research method (large category), quantitative research had the highest proportion with 132 articles(53.2%). By research method (medium category), ‘survey research’ had the highest proportion with 129 articles(33.5%). Based on the results of this study, future engineering education research should be conducted to contribute to holistic development through diversification of research topics, methods, and objects.

        자기 보고식 공학설계 역량 검사 도구 규준화 연구

        The purpose of this study is to norm the engineering design competency test. To achieve the purpose of the study, a survey was conductedon engineering college students nationwide using engineering design competency test developed in the precedent study, and a totalof 2,859 questionnaires were analyzed. The main results are as follows. First, the national average of engineering design competencyscores was 158 out of 240 points. Second, there was no significant difference between genders in engineering design competency bybackground variables. On the other hand, there was a significant difference by major. It was found that mechanical and constructionmajors have higher engineering design competency than IT and chemical/material engineering majors. Also, the scores of engineeringdesign competency increased as the grade went up. Third, the number of courses related to engineering design did not affect by engineeringdesign competency, but the actual number of times of experience in engineering design was affected by engineering design competency.

        마이스터고 학생에 대한 산업체 HR 담당자의 이미지 분석

        The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the development of school education and employment policy by analyzing the differences between image of meister high school students anticipated by industrial HR managers and image actually perceived. For this, semantic differential method developed by Osgood (1957) was selected as the study tool. To find out images of meister high school students, validity of 50 adjectives suggested by Osgood and 21 additional adjectives used in previous studies was reviewed by 10 experts. Final 20 adjectives were selected by excluding adjectives that fail to satisfy validity of contents. Proportional sampling in metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas was done to select 350 final survey samples. A total of 600 surveys were distributed and 230 were returned. Return rate was 38.3%. The results of this study are as follows. First, image of meister high school students anticipated by industrial HR managers showed average score of 2.49, which indicates a positive image. In addition, factor analysis was performed to classify adjectives into groups, and they were divided into three factors including external factor, way of thinking factor, and internal (personality) factor. Second, image of meister high school students currently perceived by industrial HR managers showed average score of 3.24, which indicates a positive image. Third, image of meister high school students currently perceived by industrial HR managers was not as positive as image they anticipate. 이 연구는 산업체 HR 담당자가 기대하는 마이스터고 학생 이미지와 현재 인식하는 이미지의 차이를 분석하여, 학교 교육과 취업 정책 발전 방안에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위하여, Osgood(1957)이 개발한 의미 분별법을 조사도구로 선정하였으며, 마이스터고 학생에 관한 이미지를 조사하기 위해 Osgood이 제안한 50개의 형용사군과 선행연구들이 추가로 사용한 21개의 형용사군 중 전문가 10명의 타당도 검사를 거쳐 내용타당도 값을 충족시키지 못하는 형용사를 제외하고 최종 20개의 형용사를 선정하였다. 완성된 설문지를 광역권, 비 광역권으로 비율표집을 통하여 최종 표본 350개를 선정하였으며, 총 600개의 설문지를 발송하여 230개의 설문지를 회수하였다. 회수율은 38.3%로 나타났다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 산업체 HR 담당자가 기대하는 마이스터고 학생의 이미지는 평균 2.49로 나타나 긍정적인 이미지를 기대한다고 할 수 있다. 또한 형용사를 그룹화 하기 위하여 요인분석을 한 결과 3개의 요인인 외면적 요인, 사고방식 요인, 내면적 요인으로 도출되었다. 둘째, 산업체 HR 담당자가 현재 인식하는 마이스터고 학생의 이미지는 평균 3.24로 나타나 긍정적인 이미지로 마이스터고 학생을 인식한다고 할 수 있다. 셋째, 산업체 HR 담당자가 현재 인식하는 마이스터고 학생 이미지는 기대하는 마이스터고 학생 이미지에 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.

        창의적 공학 설계 활동에서 팀 규모에 따른 팀 상호작용 분석

        This study is to analyze the team interaction in accordance with the team size. Thereby, it is to reveal the team size for the attainment of the effective team interaction and the specific goals to achieve the purpose of this study are as follows. Firstly, the frequency and percentage of team interaction in accordance with the team size are presented. Secondly, the statistical verification of the team interaction in the social emotional area is conducted. Thirdly, the statistical verification of the team interaction in the task area is conducted. In order to do this study, we explain the purpose of study, confidentiality, and withdrawal right were described and then 32 persons who agreed to participate were selected as the subjects for the study. After that, the autonomous organization of team was induced and a total of 8 teams were organized - 3 teams comprised of 3 members, 3 teams of 4 members, 1 team of 5 members, and 1 team of 6 members. Further, Bales' (1950) Interaction Process Analysis (IPA) was used in order to analyze the team interaction, and Mangold INTERACT was used as a coding program. The results of study are as follows. Firstly, the highest frequency of the team interaction showed up in the case of five or six members and the lowest in the case of 3 members. Secondly, a statistically significant difference in the social emotional (positive) area showed up in accordance with the team size and the team organizations of three or four members were effective. Thirdly, a statistically significant value in the answer area showed up in accordance with the team size and the team organizations of five or six members were effective.

        공업계열 특성화고 및 마이스터고 학생의 암묵적 이론 성향 차이 분석

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the propensity of the implicit theory in the students of the industrial specialized high school and the goals of this study to achieve the research purpose are follows. Firstly, the propensity of the implicit theory in the students of the specialized high school is to be analyzed. Secondly, the propensity of the implicit theory in the students of the Meister high school is to be analyzed. Thirdly, the differences in the propensity of the implicit theory in the students of the specialized high school and the Meister high school are to be compared and analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. Firstly, the students in the specialized high school were found to have an entity theory propensity for intelligence and personality and an incremental theory propensity for creativity and exercise. In addition, the results of analyzing the differences in the propensity of the implicit theory based on the background variables showed that there were differences in the propensity of the implicit theory depending on the career planning, sex, and the grades in school. Secondly, the students in the Meister high school were found to have an incremental theory propensity in every area. In addition, the results of analyzing the differences in the propensity of the implicit theory based on the background variables showed that there were differences in the propensity of the implicit theory depending on the career planning, sex, and the grades in school, like the above mentioned case of the students in the specialized school. Thirdly, the analysis of the differences in the propensity of the implicit theory of the students in the specialized school and Meister high school showed a significant results in all the areas of creativity, intelligence, exercise, and personality and the students in the specialized high school were found to have an entity theory propensity compared to the ones in the Meister high school. 이 연구의 목적은 공업계열 특성화고 학생 및 마이스터고 학생의 암묵적 이론 성향에 대해 분석하는 것이며, 연구 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구 목표는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특성화고 학생의 암묵적 이론 성향을 분석한다. 둘째, 마이스터고 학생의 암묵적 이론 성향을 분석한다. 셋째, 특성화고와 마이스터고 학생의 암묵적 이론 성향 차이에 대해 비교 분석한다. 연구를 수행하기 위해 먼저 선행 연구 고찰 및 내용 타당도 검증, 요인 분석, 신뢰도 검사를 이용하여 설문 도구 제작을 실시하였다. 이후 완성된 설문 도구를 활용하여 특성화고 및 마이스터고 각각 500명의 학생에게 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 불성실 응답 및 미응답 설문지를 제외한 뒤 최종적으로 특성화고 402부, 마이스터고 388부의 설문지를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특성화고 학생의 경우 지능과 성격에 대해서는 고정 이론 성향을 갖고 있으며, 창의성과 운동에 대해서는 증진 이론 성향을 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 특성화고 학생의 배경 변인별 암묵적 이론 성향의 차이를 분석한 결과 진로 계획 유무, 성별, 성적에 따라 암묵적 이론 성향에서의 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 마이스터고 학생의 경우 모든 영역에서 증진 이론 성향을 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 특성화고 학생과 마찬가지로 배경 변인별 암묵적 이론 성향의 차이를 분석한 결과 진로 계획 유무, 성적에 따라 암묵적 이론 성향에서의 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 특성화고 및 마이스터고 학생의 암묵적 이론 성향 차이를 분석한 결과 창의성, 지능, 운동, 성격 모든 영역에서 유의미한 결과가 나타났으며, 마이스터고 학생에 비해 특성화고 학생이 고정 이론 성향을 가지는 것으로 나타났다.
