최근 건강검진센터는 병원의 보조시설에서 핵심적이고 독립적인 의료시설로 위상이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 검진센터를 비롯한 의료시설들은 공간 및 인간간의 관계가 주체가 되는 가변적 특성으로 인하여 개선이 쉽지 않다. 이에 검진센터의 문제점과 및 개선방법을 발견하기 위하여 보행자 기반 이산사건시뮬레이션 분석프로그램을 개발하고자 하였다. 프로그램은 5가지 평가지표와 수검자 밀도를 분석할 수 있도록 구축하였으며, 시뮬레이션을 통해 소요시간, 수용능력, 검사항목별 대기열 규모를 분석하여 문제점을 도출하였다. 제안된 평가방법을 통해 검사시간이 길어지는 가장 큰 원인은 대기열의 증가와 집중에 의한 장시간 대기자의 발생으로 밝혀졌다. 적정한 서비스 재배분으로 대기열을 분산시켜 검사시간을 크게 단축시킬 수 있었으며 조정안의 검증 결과, 수검인원 18% 증가, 1인당 수검시간 15% 단축, 이동거리 5.5% 단축의 효과를 정량적으로 계산해 낼 수 있었다. 또한 히트맵 분석과 병행한 공간 재배치 계획으로 복도의 교차부에 집중되었던 과밀현상을 해소할 수 있었으며, 이는 통행자와 대기자간의 혼잡을 줄이는 긍정적 효과를 가져올 것이다. 본 연구는 분석프로그램을 구축하기 위한 기초적 성격을 가진 알고리즘 중심의 검토연구이지만, 이러한 복잡계 시뮬레이션 분석방법론은 운영 중인 시스템을 중단시키지 않으면서도 저비용의 최적 대안을 도출하는 도구로서 충분한 활용가치를 가질 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다. Recently, health examination centers have been changing from auxiliary medical facilities to key and independent medical facilities. However, it is not easy to improve medical facilities, including health examination centers, due to the variable characteristics of the relationship between humans and space. Therefore, this study was done to develop a pedestrian-based discrete event simulation analysis program to examine the problems and develop methods for improvement. The program was developed to analyze five evaluation indices and the density of examinees. The problems were derived by analyzing the required time, capacity, and queue size for each examination through simulations. We reduced the examination time and moving distance, increased the capacity, and distributed the queues by adjusting the medical services and relocating the examination rooms. The results were then quantitatively verified by simulations.

This study investigates the satisfaction of the culinary students during their studies in Rhode Island State (RI) in the United States. This research will prepare and give guidance to those who wish to study abroad. For this research, interviews and surveys were conducted and along with total of 68 copies of questionnaire were collected from to the Korean culinary students in the RI from Sep. 2007 to Mar. 2008. The analysis of the data was based on a Likert scale. Findings showed that most students chose to study abroad in their major felt satisfied with their school facilities. The research also indicated that where few challenges, such as language barrier and cultural differences. The inconveniences were with language problems and progress gradually into cultural challenges. In this respect, culinary students need to have more linguistic preparation and as well as to learn the importance of multiculturalism and globalization. Successful study abroad requires both personal and academic preparation. Teacher and parents should give supports and provide the fundamental skills that the students need to have a productive experience.

Purpose: Reconstruction of chest wall has always been a challenging problem. Muscle flaps for chest wall reconstruction have been helpful in controling infection, filling dead space and covering the prosthetic material in this challenge. However, when we use muscle flaps, functional and cosmetic donor site morbidities could occur. The authors applied and revised various partial muscle flaps and combination use of them to cover the prosthetic material for the chest wall reconstruction and evaluated the usefulness of partial muscle flaps. Methods: This study included 7 patients who underwent chest wall reconstruction using partial muscle flap to cover prosthetic material from 2004 to 2008. The pectoralis major muscle was used in anterior 2/3 parts of it leaving lateral 1/3 parts of it. The anterior 2/3 parts of the pectoralis major muscle were used while lateral 1/3 parts were left. In case of the rectus abdominis muscle flap, we used upper half of it, or we dissected it around its origin and then advanced to cover the site. The latissimus dorsi muscle flap was elevated with lateral portion of it along the descending branch of the thoracodorsal artery. If single partial muscle flap could not cover whole prosthetic material, it would be covered with combination of various partial muscle flaps adjacent to the coverage site. Results: Flap coverage of the prosthetic material and chest wall reconstructions were successfully done. There occurred no immediate and delayed post operative complications such as surgical site infection, seroma, deformity of donor site and functional impairment. Conclusion: When we use the muscle flaps to cover prosthetic material for chest wall reconstruction, use of the partial muscle flaps could be a good way to reduce donor site morbidity. Combination of multiple partial flaps could be a valuable and good alternative way to overcome the disadvantages of partial muscle flaps such as limitation of volume and size as well as flap mobility.
치킨 전문점의 선택속성 중요도가 고객만족 및 고객충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (대전지역 대학생,대학원생을 중심으로)

This study tried to know the effect of selection attributes for chicken specialty stores on customer satisfaction and loyalty. IPA analysis on relation between the attributes and the satisfaction showed that most quality-related product attributes such as ``the taste and quality of chicken``, ``proper portion``, and ``fresh ingredients`` had high levels of perceived importance and satisfaction. It indicates that the stores need to keep the current good quality. On the other hand, customers showed lower levels of satisfaction in ``reasonable prices``, ``quick delivery``(certainty factors), and ``kindness of employees``, so that those attributes need improving. The hypothesis testing showed that supplementary product factors such as ``side dishes offered with chicken``, ``use of neat and convenient wrapping package``, and ``coupon offers`` among the customer selection attributes had a significant impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Therefore, the owners of chicken specialty stores need to choose a reasonable price to make customers satisfied and shorten delivery time directly related to quality. Also, they need to differentiate their services by continuous employee training and education and provide additional services in order to enhance customer satisfaction for their repurchase.
