유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 DNA서열상의 프로모터부위의 패턴 탐색

A promoter is located ahead of the transcription start site in DNA sequence. In the region RNA polymerase binds with a close affinity and the transcription from DNA to RNA begins to take place from this region. RNA polymerase is an enzyme that perceives the promoter, the signal part of gene expression. The promoter is known to regulate the gene's transcription according to binding sites of transcription factors observed in promoter region in groups of function or tissue-specific genes. Therefore, we can get some information about the gene by the promoter taking charge of the gene's signal role. To identify the promoters, such as those of housekeeping genes and liver genes, we extracted the unaligned sequences up to 250bp upstream of transcription start site from EPD, EMBL nucleic acid sequence database and GenBank. We found all conserved patterns among these by genetic algorithm which is known as optimization algorithm. Patterns appearing in special groups and binding sites in TFD are similar or identical. Therefore, we think there is a close relationship between these.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 위한 상황 적응 시스템

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경은 변화하는 상황에 적응함으로써 사람들에게 더 좋은 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 프로그램을 정해진 규칙에 따라 변화하는 상황에 적응시키는 상황 적응 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 시스템은 개발자로 하여금 상황 적응 정책만을 간단히 기술하게 함으로써 프로그램을 변화하는 상황에 적응시킬 수 있도록 해준다. 본 시스템의 상황 적응 엔진은 상황 적응 정책에 따라 유비쿼터스 프로그램을 변화하는 상황에 적응시킨다. 또한 본 시스템은 개발자로 하여금 가상으로 자신의 유비쿼터스 프로그램을 변화하는 상황에 적응시켜 볼 수 있도록 하기 위하여 시뮬레이터를 제공한다. 본 시스템은 자바 기반 상황 인식 프로그래밍 프레임워크인 JCAF 위에서 구현되었다. The ubiquitous computing environment could provide better service to users by adapting to changing contexts. In this paper, we developed a context adaptation system, which enables an ubiquitous program to adapt to different contexts, following its adaptation rules. Using this system, programmers can develop ubiquitous programs suitable for changing contexts, by describing the context adaptation policy. The context adaptation engine of this system fits the ubiquitous program to the current context based on the context adaptation rules. This system was implemented using JCAF, context-aware programing framework based on java. A simulator is also provided to simulate ubiquitous programs by changing contexts.

중소제조기업의 MRO 아웃소싱이업무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 아웃소싱에 관한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 아웃소싱 성과와 그 결정요인을통합모형으로 하여, 중소제조기업의 MRO 아웃소싱의 의사결정에 영향을 미치는 변수들과아웃소싱의 도입정도가 기업의 업무성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 연구결과 중소제조기업의 조직적 특성 중 경쟁우위정도와 재무능력은 아웃소싱 수준과 유의한부(-)의 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 중소제조기업의 부문적 특성 중 업무의 특수성과 IT 역량은 아웃소싱 수준에 유의한 부(-)의 관계가 있고, IT 자원은 아웃소싱 수준에 유의한 영향을미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 중소제조기업의 MRO 아웃소싱 수준은 업무효율성과업무능률성, 업무생산성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 MRO 아웃소싱 수준과 기업의 업무성과 간에 공급사 적합성의 조절효과에 대한검증 결과, MRO 아웃소싱 수준과 업무성과 간의 관계에서 공급사와의 적합성의 조절효과를부분적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 공급사와의 적합성이 높은 상태에서 아웃소싱 수준이 높아질수록 업무효율성과 업무생산성에 더 많은 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

의과대학 학생과 졸업생 수행능력 평가를 위한 코호트 구축 설계

Evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs involves measuring learning processes as well as outcomes. It is essential to study cohorts of students and graduates to evaluate the long-term effects of educational programs with data generated both during education and after graduation. The purpose of this study was to establish cohorts of students and graduates to evaluate their performance, thereby providing a basis for evaluating the social accountability of medical education. In this study, student and graduate cohorts were built for both students currently enrolled and graduates at Inje University College of Medicine (IUCM). A model involving the process of cohort establishment and an evaluation indicator framework was developed. In the process of cohort establishment, the following steps were conducted: defining the goals and objectives of the student and graduate cohorts, organizing a cohort committee, developing regulations, registering cohorts, acquiring consent, and building a database. A framework of evaluation indicators according to the graduate roles of IUCM was developed by adapting Kirkpatrick's evaluation model. Next, items to be collected in student and graduate cohorts were selected, and the current status of existing data was analyzed. Moreover, a preliminary analysis was conducted, including analyses of the evaluation indicators and graduates' performance. This study suggests that it is necessary to include additional evaluation indicators considering students' learning environment and well-being in student cohorts and to develop strategies or methods for graduates to continue participating in data collection for a long-term study.

본 연구는 대학생의 정서조절능력과 거부민감성의 관계에서 사회적지지의 매개효과를 파악하여 거부민감성이 높은 학생들에게 개입하기 위한 기초 자료 제공을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 대학생 449명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고, 구조방정식 모형을 사용하여 본 연구의 가설을 검증하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석을 통해 대학생이 지각하는 정서조절능력, 거부민감성, 사회적지지 간의 관계에 대해 살펴 본 결과, 정서조절능력과 사회적지지, 거부민감성은 유의한 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 정서조절능력과 거부민감성과의 관계에서 사회적지지의 매개로하는 구조모형에서 사회적지지가 정서조절능력과 거부민감성 사이에서 매개 역할을 하고 있음이 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 적용점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 논하였다. The purpose of this study is to identify the mediated effects of social support in relation to college students emotional control ability and rejection sensibility, and to provide basic data to intervene in students with high resistance sensibility. To this end, a survey of 449 university students was conducted and the hypothesis of this study was verified using a structural equation model. The analysis results are as follows. First, the relationship between emotional control ability, rejection sensibility and social support perceived by university students through correlation analysis showed significant correlation between emotional control ability, social support and rejection sensitivity. Second, in the structural model of social support in relation to emotional control ability and rejection sensibility, it was confirmed that social support played a role between emotional control ability and rejection sensibility. Based on the results of this study, some suggestions for the application and follow-up studies were discussed.

유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 Promoter 예측

Promoter는 transcript start site 앞부분에 위치하여 RNA polymerase가 높은 친화성을 보이며 바인딩하는 DNA상의 특별한 부위로서 여기서부터 DNA transcription이 시작된다. function이나 tissue-specific gene들의그룹별로 그 promoter들의 특이한 패턴들의 조합을 발견함으로써 Specific한 transcription을 조절하는 것으로 알려져 있어 promoter로 인한 그 gene의 정보를 어느 정도 알 수가 있다. 사람의 housekeeping gene promoter들을 EPD(eukaryotic promoter database)와 EMBL nucleic acid sequence database로부터 수집하여 이것들 간에 의미 있게 나타나는 모든 패턴들을 optimization algorithm으로 알려진 genetic algorithm을 이용해서 찾아보았다.
