      • 近代 市民 民主主義 理論 形成에 관한 硏究 : 로크의 市民政治 理論을 中心으로 With Special Reference to John Locke's Theory

        This Study is to Search for John Locke's modern Civil Democratic theory in the United Kingdom. This thought is to have almost all modern States, in Which the Political thoughts are tend to be expanded and Strong-thend, but Should be directly or indirectly responsible for the democratic state Consisted of peoples.At the same time, the Political thought over demociatic states should play important roles in Broadening Political responsibility. This study is a part of John Locke's thought in Political science that is devoted to descriptively oriented theory.This study will be contributed the development of contemporary political theory.Therefore, the main contents of this study are as follows. First, the objective is defined John Locke's political thought, one of political thoughts over modern political power. Second, the range or Scope is divided into five parts as follows. Chapter I, An Introduction of the Study. Chapter II, The theoretical background of the Study. Chapter III, The key Conceptions of John Locke's Political thought : John Locke's natural Statement and natural law, the right of ownership, social contracts, government organs, the right of resistance. Chapter IV, John Locke's and modern politics of the United Kingdom. Chapter V, The Conclusions. From these contents the political development of today's state involve not only change in institution but also in thought. Therefore, we emphasized the importance of institution and thought in our Society.But we must first of all be considering the thought in order to Solve the many of problems in socity in which we live, and in fact, put great emphasis upon the social betterment in John Locke's political thought. Third, In conclusions, his political thought may have us Serious consequences in our Society.Today's issue, this will be worth studing for his great contribution to world peace, At the Sametime, this study will be of utility value about his learned Contribution as the principle of universal politics and basic democracy.

      • John Dewey의 倫理思想과 敎育에 관한 硏究

        듀우이는 전통적 윤리관보다는 자기 자신의 새로운 윤리관에 입각하여 그의 실용주의 사상을 발전시키려고 했다. 이는 그의 사상에 크게 영향을 미친 다아윈의 진화론적 입장을 취하고 더욱이 심리학적 또는 교육학적 입장에서 윤리관을 발전시키려는 것이었다고 본다. 또한 듀우이에 있어서 교육은 곧 삶과 같은 것이며 그러한 교육의 능력을 계속 하도록 하는 것이 바로 도덕 교육의 본질이라고 했다. Dewey is at more progressive standpoint, compared with traditional ethical view. The traditional ethical view judges Good and Evil of all behavior, based on its motivation. Such opinion was formed by Immanuel kant's Ethical Outlook. Namely, such opinion means that rightful behavior is made not by its results, but the motivation for which such action was caused. However, Dewey tried to develop his thought of “Pragmatism”, based on his new ethical outlook, rather than the traditional ethical view. It is considered that Dewey was at standpoint of Darwinism which have much effects to his thought, and that, he tried to develop the ethical view, based on Psychological or educational viewpoint. The fundamental element of morals of Dewey is to explain relationship among “habitude, behavior and intellect”, meaning its respective position in action. Dewey tells us that man engages in forming its ethical behaviors when man thinks, plans and practice for its happiness. That is why we don't know “what is the fact that special subject of ethical behavior shall be the Good first of all, than any other things?”. In addition, all ethical situations are not coincided, according to man and time. In a word, man is interested in finding a way to reconstruct the life by ethical view and behavior. Accordingly, such activities become an ethical objective. However, such ethical target does not include all activities, which means “creative activities or Growth”. According to Dewey, “Growth“ is “self Growth“, and “Growth“ is the purpose of Education and Moral Objective“. Namely, just like that process of education is continuous process of Growth, if “experience“ in process of moral is a continuously-progressing process to better things, rather than wrong things, “Growth“ can be the only moral object itself. Therefore, Dewey judges that the process of Education coincides with the process of Morals perfectly. Furthermore, According to Dewey, “Education“ is the very “Life“, continuous development of such educational capability is the very “essence of moral education“.

      • 대학교육이 지향 해야할 이상

        The college is unlike the cases of success or failure on commercial enterprises. Just as a patient loses his sole life due to a wrong Surgical operation on wrong diagnosis, faulty teachings to the students by the professors result in uncurable mistakes and unfortunate outcome. The professors therefore cannot fulfil their responsibility and duty if they are not well equipped with clearcut vision of education and mission. The college is a venue of national educational institute, where truth be pursued, pro-found sicence be studied and able manpower be developed and turned out to the nation and the society in response to the national and social needs. The college should be formed with intelligent, ideal and logical leaders and the best students. The college is not a place where private desires be settled and the venue should be an assemble area devoting to creation of culture. The professor, the student and the parents of the students should form a trinity aystem in order to do creation of culture. It is certain that any ideals we may seek can be unfolded at the initiative of the college under the trinity system.

      • 栗谷의 敎育思想에 관한 考察

        Yulgok took lpji (fixing aim in life) and Sugi Chiin(cultivating the self and ruling humans) as essence and he used them as main principal not only for the beginners in learning but also when talking about ways of rulers. From this fact We could see that it is same with the objective, content and method of learning but also for rulers. lpji of Yulgok comprehensively covered educational principals and goals and it was not only for motivation for achievements and ability for lifetime learning but also a guide for realization of self. Yulgok further professed that Sung(sincerity and diligence) is a motive power for all things accordingly humans can not become a true being for themselves but they could become a true being only through their effort to become a true being. For this reason it is needless to say that to discover the true it is essential for one to become a true being in their attitude first. Sung for Yulgok was something true and it was Sung for ourself always. Separate from Sung it is not possible either to become true humans or realize true learnings. When we understand him like this Yulgok could be said as an excellent educator who showed us the way for being a true human and methodology for education of humans. When we quote the words of Yulgok learnings should begin from diligence and end in diligence. Unless we are steeped in correct attitude for learning and thinking we can not become truthful. He said truth can be found through Sung and further said Sung and Chin(truth) can not be separated. He said truth can be discovered through Sung and Chin can not be divided separately. He frequently quoted passages in Chungyong(the Doctrine of the Mean) such as "When it is true it is bright" , "Unless it is true there is nothing." and he meant what is described above. The attitude of Sung and lpji of Yulgok make humans as true humans and prescribes meaning of life and led us to discover the trust on the possiblity of perfection of human character and direction for humans. lpji and Sung of Yulglk are essential for understanding human behavior and can be grasped as educational thought to whole character of human beings.
