이 글의 목표는 중국 명말의 학자 이탁오 사상이 일본에 끼친 영향과 그에 대한 연구 현황을 보고하는 것이다. 전체를 3장으로 나누어 논하였다. 제1장에서는 이 글에서 다룰 주제와 구체적인 내용을 제시하였다. 이탁오 사상의 일본 수용과 영향은 전근대시대, 특히 요시다 쇼인을 중심으로 하며, 근대 이후의 연구 현황은 중국의 근대사유에 초점을 맞추어 논의를 진행할 것임을 언급하였다. 제2장에서는 이탁오 사상과 요시다 쇼인의 관계를 논하였다. 쇼인은 이탁오의 저서를 읽고 그의 동심설에 동감하였고 죽음에 관하여 어떤 깨달음을 얻었다고 하는데, 이런 쇼인의 이탁오 이해를 재음미하였다. 쇼인이 이탁오에 심취한 것은 사실이지만, 이탁오가 쇼인의 삶과 사상에 앞서서 그 방향을 결정한 것이 아니며, 또 쇼인은 이탁오 사상의 정확한 이해자도 아니었음을 고찰하였다. 제3장에서는 태평양전쟁 이후 일본과 중국학계의 이탁오 연구의 동향을 살펴보았다. 가장 두드러진 특징은 이탁오 사상과 중국의 근대사유를 둘러싼 논의인데, 대표적으로 시마다 겐지, 야마시타 류지, 이와마 가즈오, 미조구치 유조의 주장을 소개하였다. This article examines, in three chapters, the influence of the late Ming scholar Li, Zhuo-Wu's thoughts on Japan as well as the current state of studies on him. Chapter 1 lays out the main thematic and substantive issues of this article. It focuses on Yoshida Shoin in discussing Li, Zhuo-Wu's influence on Japan in the premodern era, and focuses on China's modern thought in discussing the current state of studies on him. Chapter 2 deals with the relationship between Li, Zhuo-Wu's thoughts and Yoshida Shoin. Shoin reportedly sympathized with Lee's exhortation to return to a childlike innocence, and subsequently attained an awakening to death. While Shoin was certainly occupied with Lee's thoughts, however, they did not determine the direction of Shoin's life and his own thoughts. In fact, Shoin did not even understand Li, Zhuo-Wu's thoughts precisely. Chapter 3 examines how, since the Pacific War, Li, Zhuo-Wu has been treated by the Chinese academe, where the most salient discourse has taken place on the relationship between Li, Zhuo-Wu and China's modern thought: to illustrate this discourse, this Chapter also introduces works by Shimada Kenji, Yamashita Ryuji, Iwama Kazuo, and Mizoguchi Yuzo.
