This study investigated the colors of the costumes and backgrounds of characters in the films "Thirst" and "Mother" from an integrated perspective. As a study method, ten scenes per film, which contained the characters and backgrounds from the start to the end of the DVDs of "Thirst" and "Mother" were examined. For integrated color analysis of the costumes and backgrounds, the colors of the captured scenes were simplified to extract representative colors, and then color palettes were presented according to the ratio of area. The colors of costumes were analyzed by recognition through the eyes based on the I.R.I. Hue and Tone 120. Furthermore, the color images of the two films were analyzed using the I.R.I. adjective image scales and the I.R.I. color image scales. The colors of the film "Thirst" were generally low in brightness and high in chroma. They are characterized by dark, gloomy toned-down background in the first half, highly chromatic vivid background in the second half, and the contrast of purple blue colors and red colors. The colors of the film "Mother" are characterized by complementary colors between background and costume colors, and various tones of blue and green colors. From the aspect of color tones, they were relatively high in brightness compared to the film "Thirst" but low in chroma. On the I.R.I. adjective image scale, contrasting adjectives were extracted simultaneously from the film "Thirst" as the adjectives were evenly distributed at hard, dynamic and static, whereas the adjectives extracted from the film "Mother" were distributed at hard and statistic. On the I.R.I. color image scale, both films were located at hard, but the film "Thirst" was located at dynamic whereas the film "Mother" was located at static.

한국 모던 걸의 패션 스타일 연구: 실존 인물과 영화 주인공을 중심으로

This study probed into the fashion of modern girls between the 1920`s and the 1930`s who led the mentality and fashion of women as the progenitor of the alpha girl in Korea. For this, the fashion of actual people who received attention as modern girls in various occupations and that of modern girl heroines reinterpreted in films were examined. Methods included the theoretical study based on fashion related newspaper articles at the time, specialized publications, advance researches, and internet data and the empirical study that involved contents analysis centering on visual data. The Western women`s fashion between the 1920`s-1930`s was dominated by the garconne look to promote women`s entry into society and competition against men and the practical and mature long and slim look due to the influence of economic recess. Korean people also adapted Western clothes following Western fashion while also modified the traditional clothes and wore modified Korean clothes. The fashion of 5 actual modern girls of Korea and that of 3 film heroines were examined. The fashion of actual people most well represented the fashion trends at the time and that they used fashion as the means to express their mentality and their artistic propensity and professionalism were expressed through fashion. On the other hand, the fashion of film heroines substantially expressed various occupations of the characters in the film and reflected trendy clothes and cosmetics, and it showed sexy and romantic fashion trend due to the influence of modern trends and reinterpretations.

Vintage fashion is a lot influenced by colors because an emotion is transmitted via images of old feeling, worn-out feeling and faded feelingetc. Colors are visual sensation occurring at a time when lights stimulate an eye, which is a representative factor which humans first perceive when they touch objects. And colors in clothing function as a critical element which indicates an individual`s impression and character as well as aesthetic sensation. In this study, I examined on the theoretical consideration and aesthetic characteristics via the previous literature on vintage fashion and colors. As an empirical study, I investigated on the colors of vintage fashion appearing in Pret-a-porter Collections, Paris from Spring/Summer, 2003 to Fall/Winter 2008. As a way for study, I investigated into the total 197 vintage fashion photos and calculated their RGB values by using photoshop. And I converted the values of the colors extracted into H V/C values by using Munsell Conversion Version 9.0.6 and analyzed on Munsell System of 10 Color Notation and the PCCS colors, classifying a color scheme by visual sensation measurement. The result of analyzing on the concept of vintage fashion and its color characteristics is as follows; Vintage fashion made an appearance the most in 2003 and 2004 and its colors appeared a lot in Y, YR, R and PB lines. Color tone concentrated on black and white, achromatic color and low chroma colors in a grayish line, chromatic color. Thus, the study found that colors suitable for a worn-out, faded and old image are properly reflected in vintage fashion rather than a clear and bright background. In a color scheme, I found contrast color and same color appearing a lot, which gave an unharmonious feeling and a smack of the country. The study reveals that the color characteristic of vintage fashion is relatively diverse and complex in color, color tone or shade and color scheme, which shows a color trend which reflects a non-constructive and complex coordination characteristic instead of a standardized simple and clear image.

It is intended to study the colors of work environment and the working clothes colors between humans and environment with application of the arrangement of working clothes colors to domestic machinery companies that play pivotal roles in the industry of Korea. The purpose of this study is to provide the foundation of color plan for the integrated environmental harmonization and the safety of industrial sites by analyzing the photographs of working clothes in the sires in consideration of the functions of colors (clearness, attention-getting, and safety) using the Faber Birren``s Color Harmony and by analyzing the result of a questionnaire survey. The study was conducted by the method to shoot a worksite using a digital camera after wearing 24 sets of uniforms, which were developed by the color plan established in a previous study, in the same worksite. The shooting place was an outdoor steel sheet inspection site of D company, a machinery company in Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, and the intensity of illumination was 2400lux. 24 pieces of images were printed in 5x7 inch size and a questionnaire survey was performed at 5-point scale. The questionnaire survey was performed for 13 subjects consisting of 6 field professionals having more than 30 years of experiences, 4 clothes color professionals, and 3 industrial engineering professionals. The result of the survey was statistically analyzed by the method of frequency analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 Program. As the result of assessment of basic four colors (yellow green, sky blue, blue, and violet) of working clothes, yellow green, sky blue, and blue showed high mean values in (Tint)+(Shade)+(Tone)+(Gray) equation indicating that its is a harmonized equation.

띠미로 버섯 추출물의 함암효과

본 연구는 옛날부터 생리활성이 우수한 것으로 알려진 띠미로 버섯(Daedalea dickinsii)에 대한 항암효과를 알아보기 위하여 열수 및 메타놀 추출물로서 사람의 암세포인 Hela cell, Hep G_2 cell, L929 cell 및 동물의 육종 암세포인 sarcoma-180을 이용하여 실험하였다. 띠미로 버섯의 열수 추출물은 1.5 ㎎/100㎖ 농도에서 Hela cell에 대하여 70%의 높은 항암효과를 나타내었고, Hep G_2 cell은 40%정도의 항암효과를 나타내었다. 띠미로 버섯의 메타놀 추출물의 경우 4 ㎎/㎖농도에서 Hela cell에 대하여 60%의 억제효과를 나타내었다. L929 cell에 대한 띠미로 버섯의 열수 추출물은 50.03%의 억제효과를 나타내었다. Sarcoma-180에 대한 종양 억제효과는 띠미로버섯의 열수 추출물을 60 ㎎/㎏ 투여시 45.67%의 억제효과가 있었고 수명연장은 30.88%로서 대조군보다 높았다. This study was carried out particularly focusing on the antitumor effects of extracts obtained from mushroom, Daedalea dickinsii against Hela cell, Hep G_2 cell, L 929 cell and Sarcoma-180. Antitumor effect of hot water extracts obtained from Daedalea dickinsii against Hela cell showed at the highest level of 70% when administrated at the concnetration of 1.5 ㎎/100㎖, however Hep G_2 cell inhibited 40% at the same concentration of of hot water extracts. Antitumor effects of methanol extract of Daedalea dickinsii against Hela cell indicated at the highest level of 60% when 4 ㎎/㎖ was administerated. Antitumor effect of hot water extract of Daedalea dickinsii inhibited 51.03% against L929 cell. The solid tumor sarcoma-180 growth inhibition of methanol extract of Deadalea dickinsii inhibited 45.67% when administrated at the concentration of 60 ㎎/㎏, and the life prolongation was higher 30.88% than that control group.

Objectives : Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) in the elderly is related to cognitive dysfunction. We aimed to analyze the difference in the neurocognitive function between the elderly groups with and without EDS and examine the correlation between sleep parameters and the neurocognitive function in the elderly with EDS. Methods : Thirty seven subjects who visited Kangwon National University Hospital were recruited. We excluded those who had abnormalities in laboratory examination or chronic systemic diseases. For each subject, a neuropsychological battery in the Korean version of the Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's Disease (CERAD-K) Assessment Packet was applied. Noctumal polysomnographies were conducted in 16 subjects with EDS. Results : There were no significant differences in the neurocognitive function between EDS positive and EDS negativegroups. In the EDS positive grouP, the amount of stage 1 sleep negatively correlated with scores on Boston naming test, word list memory and Stroop interference, respectively (r=-0.611, -0.583, -0.611). Also, REM sleep amount positively Correlated with scores of word list recognition (r= 0.568), and limb movement index negatively correlated with scores of wordlistmemory (r=-0.523). Conclusion : The poor sleep quality was associated with impaired language, memory and executive functions. Also, increased limb movements were associated with the memory decline.
