전기비저항 탐사법은 터널 주변 지반 혹은 암반의 안정성을 조사하기 위해 사용되는 물리탐사법 중의 하나이다. 다양한 물리탐사법 중에서도 전기비저항 탐사법은 터널설계 단계에서 미리 소사가 수행되어 시공비용을 절감하고 안정성을 확보하기 위한 중요한 자료로 이용되고 있다. 현재 전기비저항 탐사 자료의 해석은 주로 1회의 단일 측정 자료를 대상으로 이루어지고 있지만, 터널 굴착이나 기 굴착된 터널의 유지관리를 위해서는 터널 주변의 시간에 따른 지하수의 분포상황 변화 등이 관측되어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 모니터링 기법이 도입되어야 한다. 따라서 터널 굴착에 따른 전기비저항 변화 파악을 위하여 격자형 측선을 설치하여 총 6회의 전기비저항 모니터링을 수행하였다. 또한 모니터링 시스템을 통해 조사지역에 분포하는 단층대에 상세한 정보를 제공함으로써 안전시공에 예측 시스템으로 가능유무를 평가하고자 하였다. Resistivity survey is one of the widely used methods for the investigation of stability of the ground or bedrock around tunnel and is also used as an essential base data for stability and reduction of construction cost through first-hand approximation of rock quality at design step. Generally, the analysis of resistivity survey data is performed by single measurement. When distribution variation of groundwater around a tunnel over time is necessary for maintenance of a tunnel, resistivity monitoring is very useful survey method to grasp distribution variation of groundwater. So we performed the grid line resistivity survey to monitoring resistivity variation for six times. And we also tried to evaluate application possibility of the resistivity monitoring for construction safety through providing detailed information on fault zones.
장주기 전기비저항 모니터링 기법을 이용한 필댐의 안정성 평가

전기비저항 모니터링 탐사법은 공극의 변화는 입자와 함수율에 변화에 기인한다는 사실에 근간을 두고 있다. 모든댐에서 내부 침식은 시간이 지날수록 발생하며, 시간이 지남에 따라 누수가 집중되고 결국 댐의 파괴에 이르게 한다. 전기비저항은 제체내 공극의 변화에 매우 민감하게 변화하는 것으로 알려져 있어 전기비저항 모니터링 탐사법은 누수탐지에 효과적으로 적용되어 왔다. 그러나 전기비저항은 온도의 계절 변화와 총고용용존물, 운영수위 등의 변화에 큰 영향을 받는다. 본 논문에서 우리는 댐마루 중앙부에 영구적으로 전극을 설치하고 2011년 4월 3일부터 2012년 7월 31일까지매 6시간 마다 전기비저항 모니터링 탐사 자료를 획득하였다. 모니터링 데이터의 해석을 위해 각 전기비저항 데이터의2,950여개가 넘는 데이터를 분석하였다. 그 결과 전기비저항은 온도의 영향으로 계절변화에 따라 변화함을 확인할 수있었으며, 전기비저항 모니터링탐사로부터 제체의 공극률을 산출하고 분석하였다. 댐체에서 전기비저항 모니터링 탐사의 적용성과 안정성을 확인하였으며, 신뢰할 만한 전기비저항 모니터링 데이터의 중요성을 강조할 수 있었다.
전기비저항 검층으로 얻은 전기비저항과 터널 현장 암반등급의 상관관계에 관한 연구

터널 시공 중 암반등급은 지보패턴의 결정에 큰 영향을 주는 요소이다. 따라서 터널 설계 시에 터널이 시공되는 노선의 암반등급을 파악하기 위해서 시추조사를 수행한다. 시추구간 사이의 미시추 구간에서는 전기비저항 탐사, 탄성파 탐사 등과 같은 지구물리탐사를 통해 암반등급을 파악한다. 따라서 전기비저항과 암반등급의 상관관계를 찾기 위한 연구가 다수 수행되었다. 그러나 대부분의 연구는 실내시험 또는 전기비저항 탐사로부터 얻어진 전기비저항과 암반등급의 상관관계에 대한 연구이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현장의 전기비저항 검층 시험으로부터 얻어진 전기비저항과 RMR의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 현장 데이터 분석 결과, 전기비저항과 RMR은 약 90%이상의 매우 높은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 RMR 평가 요소들과 전기비저항의 상관관계 분석을 수행한 결과, 전기비저항과 불연속면상태는 약 80%이상의 양호한 상관관계가 나타났으나 지하수상태는 약 57%이하의 낮은 상관관계가 나타났다. Rock mass rating (RMR) is the key factor when designing the appropriate support pattern of tunnel projects. Borehole drilling is usually performed along the tunnel route in order to determine the rock mass rating to be used for tunnel design. The rock mass rating at the non-boring region between boreholes is usually assessed through geophysical surveys such as electrical prospecting, seismic prospecting, etc. Many studies were carried out to find out the correlation between electrical resistivity and rock mass rating. However, most researches were aimed at obtaining the relationship between the two parameters utilizing experimental results obtained from laboratory tests or electrical prospectings. In this paper, efforts were made to analyze and obtain relationships between the electrical resistivity obtained from in-situ electrical resistivity logging data and the rock mass rating. Correlation studies using field data showed that the electrical resistivity is highly correlated with the rock mass rating with the determination coefficient more than 90%. The correlation analysis was also carried out between RMR classification parameters and the electrical resistivity. It was shown that the correlation between the condition of discontinuities and the electrical resistivity was very high with the determination coefficient more than 80%; that between the groundwater condition and the electrical resistivity was very low with the determination coefficient less than 57%.
김치유산균 Lactobacillus plantarum CJLP55 섭취가 성인 남녀의 피부 산도 및 관련 구성 인자의 변화에 미치는 영향

Purpose: The skin pH is maintained by epidermal lactate, free fatty acids (FFAs), and free amino acids (FAAs). As a significant determinant of skin health, the skin pH is increased (less acidic) under abnormal and aged skin conditions. In a search for dietary alternatives that would promote an acidic skin pH, this study investigated the dietary effects of Lactobacillus plantarum CJLP55 isolated from Korean kimchi on the skin pH, and epidermal levels of lactate, FFAs, and FAAs in adult subjects. Methods: Seventy eight subjects (mean age 24.9 ±0.5 years, range 19 ~ 37 years) were assigned randomly to ingest CJLP55, Lactobacillus strain from kimchi, (n = 39, CJLP group) or placebo supplements (n = 39, placebo group) for 12 weeks in a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial. Skin pH and epidermal levels of lactate, FFAs and FFAs were assessed at 0, 6 and 12 weeks. Results: Although significant decreases in skin pH were observed in both the CJLP and placebo groups at 6 weeks, the skin pH was decreased significantly only in the CJLP group at 12 weeks. In parallel, the epidermal level of lactate in the CJLP group was also increased by 25.6% at 12 weeks. On the other hand, the epidermal level of FAAs were not altered in the CJLP and placebo groups, but the epidermal level of total FFAs, including palmitic acid and stearic acid, was lower in the CJLP group than in the placebo group over 12 weeks. The changes in the other FFAs, such as palmitoleic acid and oleic acid, were similar in the CJLP and placebo groups over 12 weeks. Conclusion: Overall, a dietary supplement of CJLP55 promotes acidic skin pH with a selective increase in epidermal lactate in adult subjects.
An overlap syndrome of Churg-Strauss syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis

Churg-Strauss syndrome (CSS) is a necrotizing vasculitis with extra-, peri-vascular eosinophilic infiltration. Chronic symmetric polyarthritis with the presence of rheumatoid factor (RF) and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody are the mainstay of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) diagnosis. Mononeuritis multiplex is a peripheral neuropathy involving more than 2 separate nerve areas. A 62-year-old male patient was referred for left foot drop and polyarthritis of both hands and feet for 4 months. During evaluation, mononeuritis multiplex was detected on nerve conduction study and electromyography tests: vasculitis with neutrophil, eosinophil, and lymphocyte infiltration on peroneal nerve biopsy. A positive response to methacholin and bronchodilator was observed on the pulmonary function test. Radiologic tests showed peri-articular soft tissue swelling and osteopenia on both hand and foot. Marked peripheral eosinophilia, high RF, and positive perinuclear anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody were detected on blood tests. Here, we report on a patient with overlap syndrome of CSS and RA with review of the relevant literature, from which a few references to overlap syndrome of CSS and RA were available.

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is an inflammatory skin condition accompanied by symptoms such as edema and hemorrhage. Kimchi is a traditional fermented Korean dish consisting of various probiotics. In this study, the therapeutic effect of Lactobacillus plantarum CJLP55 isolated from Kimchi was studied in AD-induced mice. Orally administered Lactobacillus strain, CJLP55, suppressed AD symptoms and high serum IgE levels. CJLP55 administration reduced the thickness of the epidermis, infiltration of mast cells and eosinophils into the skin lesion, enlargement of axillary lymph nodes, and increase in cell population in axillary lymph nodes. CJLP55 treatment decreased the production of type 2 cytokines, such as interleukin (IL)-4, IL- 5, IL-10, IL-12, interferon (IFN)-γ, and IL-6,which were stimulated by house dust mite extracts, in the axillary lymph node cells. Orally administered CJLP55 exhibited a therapeutic effect on house dust mite-induced AD in NC⁄Nga mice after onset of the disease by altering immune cell activation. The Lactobacillus strain, CJLP55, isolated from Kimchi, suppressed AD. Our results suggest its possible use as a potential candidate for management of AD.
