폴리우레탄에 기인한 건설현장 화재예방 대책의 한계와 개선 방안

건설현장에서 반복되는 화재사고를 겪으면서 화재예방 대책도 꾸준히 개선되어왔다. 하지만 폴리우레탄을 단열재로 사용하는 공사현장에서는 예방대책의 개선에도 불구하고 회재사고는 반복되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 폴리우레탄이 존재하는 공사현장에서 기존 사고예방 대책의 한계와 이의 근원적 해결을 위한 과제를 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 현재까지의 건설현장 화재예방의 개선대책과 외국의 화재안전 대책을 분석하여 기존 대책의 사각지대를 도출하고 이의 해결을 위한 과제를 제시하였다. 기존의 화재예방대책이 불충분한 이유는 폴리우레탄과 점화원이 있는 화기작업을 완전하게 격리시킬 수 없었기 때문이다. 연구 결과 폴리우레탄이 존재하는 작업장의 회재예방은 관리적인 대책만으로는 근원적 예방이 불가능하며, 무기 단열재를 개발하여 설계단계에서 유기단열재인 폴리우레탄을 불연재로 대체하는 것이 시급한 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the limits of current measures to prevent fire accidents especially in the existence of polyurethane. Suffering numerous fire accidents, preventive measures are strengthened accordingly. However, in the existence of polyurethane, current measures are insufficient since it is still impossible to completely separate inflammables form ignition sources in case of polyurethane used as insulation. In order to identify blind spots of current fire prevention measures, this study conducted analysis on the previous fire accidents and the coverage of current legislative preventive measures. In conclusion, in order to perfectly prevent polyurethane fire accidents, not only controling of working condition but also substitution of noncombustible material for polyurethane is indispensible.

There are some critical problems in existing cold storage warehouses in Korea such as surface or internal condensations and penetration of moisture into the thermal insulation which inevitably results in raising energy cost during their operations and shortening their lifetimes, which are caused by improper usage of vapor barriers.<br/> To solve these problems, at first this study classifies the envelope systems of cold storage warehouses into three types according to their construction of thermal insulations through site surveys on the existing warehouses. Next, suitable moisture-proofing materials is suggested which can be applied to each type of envelope systems through the experimental analysis of the property of moisture permeability and economical evaluations by value engineering methodology. Finally, the effective construction methods of moisture-proofing layers by their locations and executing procedures is proposed.

The outer wall system of an existing refrigerated warehouse is generally used to insulate the inner and outer sections of a concrete wall. However, there is a great deal of energy loss caused by the thermal bridge of concrete slabs. To overcome this problem, the PC insulation envelope system(dry method) is used in this paper. The PC insulation envelope system has a minimum of 100mm of thermal insulating material. It is necessary to develop proper insulation methods in order to use those methods in the PC envelope system of refrigerated warehouse effectively. Both model and mock-up tests were conducted to verify the pumping insulation methods using inner and outer wall materials as a foam panel of concrete construction. The tests indicate that the proposed insulation methods(Injection pumping and Spray pumping) is effective for short-term work as well as a unity of insulation.

The present study was motivated by the needs to make diversified scientific approaches toward influential factors like human, technical, organization, policy and environmental on the basis of the specialized information concerning the cause for industrial accidents in a measure to prevent the falling accident which has the biggest priority among the three major frequent industrial accidents. In this connection, diverse policies have been practiced in the meantime, with little effects in fact to reduce occurrence of industrial accidents, seemingly because such policies have been practiced on the direct dimension, instead of tries to nip in the bud of fundamental causes, This study was thus conducted with a view to determine the causes that have influence on falling accidents from the overall context and unearth the factors requiring management with priority, For this aim, "Fall from Height" (2003), a study by HSE, UK was applied to various conditions of korea as an experiment to search for fundamental causes for falling accidents. The major findings of this study might be summed up as exploring a main critical path that has influence upon falling accidents and suggesting effective ways to cut down through the critical path.
지하건설공사의 작업환경 개선에 관한 연구 : 환기와 조명을 중심으로

According to the construction enviromental changes due to the trend of large scale and complicated building construction, many construction methods(such as : TOPDOWN)are more often used. However, it is pointed out that occupational pulmonary diseases, reduction of the machinary lifetime and productivity caused to be narrow visual field and collision between the workers. Therefore, this study is mainly dealing with the views of productivity and safety improvement in order to improve work efficiency and to insure the safety in underground construction environment.
