Background : To understand Korean medicine it is crucial to first understand medical aspect of ‘DongUiBoGam’. It is also meaningful that it became one of the influential book even to posterity. Also based on the apprehension, we can take a view of development of Korean medicine led by ‘DongUiBoGam’. Objectives : This study aims to review the status, study field, specialist of DongUiBoGam. In the process, this review will grasp trends in this field of studies and will direct further researches into the right direction. Method : The computerized Korean databases were searched from their respective inceptions up to December 2008. The search terms used were ‘DongUiBoGam’ and random or Korean language terms related to DongUiBoGam. Several specialized journals were also manually searched for relevant articles. Result : Since the 2000s, DongUiBoGam papers in the Korean Literature is increased. Published 58 papers on The Korean Journal of Oriental Medical Prescription were more than the other journals. 58 papers published in The Korean Journal of Oriental Medical Prescription are the best in many areas related to Korean medicine. Most people have submitted papers related to DongUiBoGam was Woo-yeal Jeong. Conclusions : ‘DongUiBoGam’ research is conducted and current tendency and outlook for ‘DongUiBoGam’ is carried out focusing on several associations.

"의림촬요(醫林撮要)"의 판본(板本)과 최근 연구 성과

${\ulcorner}$Uirimchwaryo(醫林撮要)${\lrcorner}$ is a medical book that takes a model of written in the middle of Chosun dynasty. In the contents side, it seems to unite a korea medicine with the Geum-Won Dynasty(金元時代) in ancient china. we can think much of the value that it combines theory with experience, choosing the merits of ${\ulcorner}$Uibangyuchwi(醫方類聚)${\lrcorner}$ which were the masterpieces of the first half of Chosun Dynasty and it increased a practical use to choose easily prescription in the clinic. This book which was proofread and published by imperial physician Yang Yaesoo(楊禮壽, ? ${\sim}$ 1597) is not exist. In this condition, existing print type is added by scholars only after ${\ulcorner}$Donguibogam(東醫寶鑑)${\lrcorner}$ was compiled. When the academic conference was held in last year, I introduced a chosun printed book in japan's possession, moreover I survey more documents. I will investigate and arrange a few old printed books that are handed down to Chosun and Japan. In addition, I will present Korea and foreign researching results, trend about ${\ulcorner}$Uirimchwaryo${\lrcorner}$ which is finished lately and researching materials about translating into current korean language. We can evaluate the value and effect of ${\ulcorner}$Uirimchwaryo${\lrcorner}$ in Chosun dynasty of medical history.

Life nurturing medicine mentioned in this paper refers to medical practice based on health preservation. This practice embraces alimentotherapy, respiration practice, qi gong, lacking food method as well as preventive medicine and geriatrics based on this theory. This life nurturing practice are noticeable through korean history. There were Korea own's xianjia(仙家) yangseng practice which after the transmission of Taoistic yangseng, it has been developed to take a field in medicine. The first publication that proofs this unification of life nurturing practice and medicine is Donguibogam ("東醫寶鑑"). Life nurturing method took more proportion in medical practice as medical books emphasized on preventive medicine like Yiyangpyun("二養編"), Boyangji were published distinguishing from other field of medicine.

The international government committee is progressing their agreements about intellectual property protection of traditional knowledge(TK), gene resource(GR), folklore(FL) in WIPO. It is in the course of selection with precedence of TK, GR, FL in WlPO, focused on discussions about listing of TK documents, standardization of DB construction, sharing and profit distribution of GR. Their are disagreements between developed countries and underdeveloped countries about intellectual property protection agreements of TK, GR. The developed countries insist on using, the existing intellectual property protections, but the underdeveloped countries ask new ones on character of TK, GR, It causes intangible assets to be valuable trade properties in future world trade. We have to make national plans to face agreements about IP of TK, GR in WIPO with our own TK, GR. We must have a basic attitude about laying down these plans such as raising national economy, considering our TK, GR to be relics of mankind culture. In addition to these, it needs accurate analysis about agreements in WIPO, our TK, GR, scientific mechanical level and capital power.

"어의촬요(御醫撮要)"-실전의서의 복원 I

$\ulcorner$Aheuichaulyo御醫撮要$\lrcorner$ was known to be published by Choi Jong-jun崔宗峻 in Korea高麗 Dynasty(A.D.1226), however its original copy is not available at the present. It was thought that Korean folk medicine and the remedies were recorded in this book, and these were recorded in $\ulcorner$Euibangyoochui醫方類聚$\lrcorner$ published in Chosun 朝鮮 dynasty(1445). $\ulcorner$Euibangyoochui$\lrcorner$ is called a treasure-house of the knowledge of traditional oriental medicine which contains over 50,000 prescriptions and enormous amount of medical information. The restoration of $\ulcorner$Aheuichaulyo$\lrcorner$was possible during the process of establishment of data base work of $\ulcorner$Euibangyoochui$\lrcorner$. $\ulcorner$Aheuichaulyo$\lrcorner$ was restored as 131 chapters mainly from the related contents of $\ulcorner$Euibangyoochui$\lrcorner$ and partially from the contents of $\ulcorner$Hyangyakjipsungbang鄕藥集成方$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$Boonmoononyukyihaebang分門瘟易解方$\lrcorner$ for the supplement.

본초서의 계통과 본초학 발전사

본고에서는 역대 본초서(本草書)의 간행(刊行)을 통해 본초학(本草學)이 역사적 변천 과정을 거치면서 어떻게 발전해 왔는지를 주제로 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 각 시대별로 가장 특징적인 본초서를 위주로 대표적인 본초 명저의 간행과 이것이 의미하는 시대적 특징과 본초학적 발전상을 요약하였다. 아울러 대표 명저 중 우리 의학에 도입되어 깊은 영향을 끼친 본초서의 흔적과 조선판의 간행 사항을 조사하여 소개함으로서 한국한의학에 미친 영향성을 알아보았다. This report investigates on the subject of the development of medicinal herb study through historic transition made by medicinal herb book publications. This report summarized publications of representative medicinal herb books of the times, the standing characteristics of the times and the development of the medicinal herb study. In addition, this report investigates the influence on Korean medicine by looking at the traces of medicinal herb books that had been introduced and deeply influenced to Korean medicine, and publication facts of Chosun edition.

전통임상기술의 지적재산권 보호와 산업화 방안에 대한 고찰 -WIPO의 전통지식, 유전자원의 지적재산권 보호 논의에 대한 대응 전략-

These plans consist of 5 subjects which are investigation about intellectual property related laws and systems, study of examination and finding, construction of DB information, development of value evaluation system, development of industrialization system with TK, GR, We suggest preceding details about 5 subjects respectively. It is the character of this plan that patent information DB system of TK, GR is the axis. It is the most important thing in these plans to succeed that we have to have connections with expert groups in order parts and government officials, taking whole supports of government because our traditional medical related study basis is weak.

『古今圖書集成』ㆍ醫部의 編纂과 意義

『KoKeumDoSeoJipSeong』ㆍEuiBoo that is commonly known as ‘EuiBooJeonRok’ is a part of 『HeumJeongKoKeumDoSeoJipSeong』 which was published under Qing empire support and it has a significance in gathering all the results of eastern medicine until 18th century. It contained the best knowledge of the time and considered as the most precious book for two hundred years, but nowadays it is looked away in its value and use. We could prescribe the historical significance this classic medical book has and furthermore, embody the basic knowledge necessary for constructing database by studing compilation and editions. This is the significance the classic 『DoSeoJipSeong』 has and the significance of the digital EuiBooJipSeong which will be newly shown as a digital knowledge information system.

『醫方類聚』가 『東醫寶鑑』 편찬에 미친 영향

To generalize how early-Chosun medical achievements represented by 『Hyang Yak Jib Sung Bang』and 『Eui Bang Yoo Chui』influenced the publishment of 『Dong Eui Bo Gam』, and what academic achievements of 『Dong Eui Bo Ga m』are, I have compared the compositions of 『Dong Eui Bo Gam』to two representative medical literature of early-Chosun era and examined the changes in organizations, and I was able to find deep connections among 『Dong Eui Bo Ga m』, 『Hyang Yak Jib Sung Bang』and 『Eui Bang Yoo Chui』.

사상의학의 임상 응용과 저변 확대

Introduction : Sasang Constitutional Medicine (SCM) is one of the most popular specialty in Korean traditional medicine. After Donguisusebowon (東醫壽世保元), the book initiated SCM at first, there have been several books related with SCM. Through this study on Donguisasangsinpyeon (東醫四象新編), we intend to present clinical application of SCM and the spread of its use. Methods and Discussion : Firstly, we will examine the author’s life and philosophy, and consider various editions of Donguisasangsinpyeon. And we will attempt content analysis to the preface, foreword, afterword, and main text. Using these methods, we will show that Donguisasangsinpyeon not only succeed the theory of Donguisusebowon faithfully, but also expand the clinical use of SCM. Conclusions : Donguisasangsinpyeon is the first SCM-based clinical book after Donguisusebowon. And the book can also be valued for its adoption of explanatory diagrams that help people select customized prescriptions conveniently and easily.
