Optimization of Vitamin D2 Production using Enoki Mushroom Powder and the Preparation of Doenjang using the Powder

Optimization of vitamin D2 production in enoki mushroom (Flammulina velutipes) using response surface methodology (RSM), and the effect of adding Enoki mushroom on the general quality characteristics of Doenjang during the fermentation process were studied. For the conversion of ergosterol in enoki mushroom powder to vitamin D2 via ultraviolet-B (UV-B), the three independent variables of exposure time (40∼120 min), ambient temperature (10∼30℃) and irradiation intensity (0.9∼2.1 W/m2) were investigated. The ridge analysis predicted that a maximum yield of 393.73 μg/g was obtained when ambient temperature, exposure time, and irradiation intensity were 23.54℃, 82.33 min and 1.11 W/m2, respectively. During the fermentation process, in comparison with the control sample, bacterial and yeast counts, pH value, protease activity, amino-type nitrogen content, vitamin D2 content and 5’-nucleotides contents increased in Doenjang after adding enoki mushroom. Beyond this, the addition of enoki mushroom reduced total acidity and had no effect on reducing sugar content, total amylase or α-amylase activity in Doenjang.

불가꼬프 극장 세계의 장르적 특징으로는 풍자 코미디가 그의 작품들 중에서 적지 않은 비중을 차지하고 있는데, 특히 《조야의 아파트》와 《적자색 섬》 두 작품은 1920년대 세태에 관한 불가꼬프 풍자코미디의 특징이 아주 선명하게 나타나는 작품들이다.인물들과 공간의 끝없는 변신의 테마가 중요한 역할을 수행하는《조야의 아파트》는 희비극적 소극의 장르로서 혁명 후 새로운 환경에 적응하지 못하는 인물들의 형태상을 비극적, 희극적, 풍자적으로 그로테스크하게 묘사한 작품이다. 《조야의 아파트》에서 묘사된 인물들의 개인적, 속물적, 세속적 모습과 세태에 대한 희화화는 《적자색 섬》에서 현실과 무대라는 두 가지의 층위(‘극장 속 극장’ 형식)로 심화되며 사회적, 이데올로기적, 극장적 현실의 풍자로 변모한다. 《적자색 섬》은 풍자와 조롱, 유머, 과장, 환상, 그로테스크라는 기법을 통하여 당대 소비에트 연극계의 무대 상연 결정과정과 무차별적으로 양산된 이데올로기 선전극의 생산과정을 첨예하게 다루면서 작가와 무대, 극장장, 검열, 상연이라는 극장현실을 풍자적으로 그리고 있다. 1920년대 소비에트의 시대적, 사회문화적 현상을 문학적으로 날카롭게 표현한 두 작품에서 일구어낸 세태 풍자의 주요 특징(기법)들은 이후 불가꼬프의 소설과 희곡 작품 분석과정에서 간과할 수 없는 중요 특성으로 자리매김하게 된다.

In response to the radical social change, the policy sciences is in full swing in every field of social science. What is the policy science as a new academic mainstream? Since the coinage of this new word by harald D. Lasswell. there have been no systematic and consistent wiews on the condept, scope, and nethod of the policy sciences. Also he proposed. If our policy needs are to be served. what topics of reseasch as most worthy of pursuit? what are the most promising methods of gathering facts and interpreting their significance for policy? How can facts and interpretatins be made effective in the decision making process itself? If this study the essential problems in the policy ciences are dealt with values and facts. About the question of policy sciences, it has been stimulated by the fact that policy sciences is an exceedingly popular enterprise thesedays. but any reading of the literature on "policy" make it abundantly clear that it is not a well defined concept. This thesis is made up of five chapters. Chapter one is an introduction, chapter two is the policy science as a new a academic mainstream, chapter three is methodological bases of policy science, chapter four is development of policy science, and chapter five is conclusion. In short, the policy sciences is an emancipatory discipline that improves the human dignity in theory and practice and is practice that reifies the normative theory in the real situational context

미하일 불가꼬프의 드라마에서 나타나는 풍자와 환상성

주지하다시피, 미하일 불가꼬프의 드라마에서 주요하게 다루어지는 특징은 풍자와 환상성이다. 특히 <아담과 이브>, <행복의 정점>, <이반 바씰예비치>의 세 작품은 주제와 기법 측면에서 풍자-환상극 삼부작을 이룰 정도로 작품들 사이에 깊은 연관성을 보인다. 각 작품들은 환상적으로 설정된 상황 속에서 주요 등장인물들의 대립과 갈등을 통해 (<아담과 이브>: 아담, 이브, 예프로시모프, 다라간, 뽄칙; <행복의 정점>: 레인, 분샤, 밀로슬랍스끼, 라다마노프, 아브로라, 싸비치; <이반 바씰예비치>: 찌모페예프, 분샤, 밀로슬랍스끼, 이반 그로즈늬이) 불가꼬프의 안티유토피아적 주제를 그려내고 있다. <아담과 이브>에서는 인류사회의 휴머니즘을 중시하는 과학자 예프로시모프와 공산주의적 새로운 인간, 아담과 다라간과의 대립을 통해 소비에트 사회가 지향하는 미래 사회의 위험성을 지적하고, <행복의 정점>에서는 발명가 레인이 고안한 타임머신을 타고 접한 23세기의 미래 사회가 완벽한 이상향이 아닌 비개성과 비정신성의 건조한 이상향으로 제시된다. 또한 <이반 바씰예비치>에서도 발명가 찌모페예프의 타임 머신을 타고 이반 그로즈늬이는 1930년대 모스크바로, 분샤와 밀로슬랍스끼는 14세기의 고대 러시아로 시공간 이동을 한다. 이러한 시공간 이동은 전제주의 시간과 소비에트 시간을 접목시키고 권력의 무자비성과 속물성을 풍자하는 데 효과적이다. 강한 절대권력 속에서 문학은 자유로이 숨쉴 수 있는 공간을 찾는다. 풍자-환상극 삼부작에서 불가꼬프는 환상적 기법으로 작품의 시공간을 과거, 현재, 미래로 확장한다. <이반 그로즈늬이>의 절대권력의 시대로부터 <아담과 이브>의 현재 소비에트 시대로, 그리고 <행복의 정점>의 23세기 미래 시대로의 시공간 확장은 안티유토피아의 절대권력과 속물근성을 날카롭게 풍자할 수 있는 공간을 만들어 주고 당대 소비에트 사회의 부정적 측면과 문제점들을 더욱 부각시켜 준다.

일본의 PC통신 네트워크 실태조사

"올해로 10년여의 역사를 맞고 있는 일본의 PC통신은 뉴미디어의 기수로서, 일반시민의 미디어로 정착되어가고 있다. PC통신은 정보교환은 물론 친목의 장, 생활정보획득, 수발주, 커뮤니케이션 등 다양한 목적을 위한 수단의 하나로서 이용되고 있다. 일본의 (재)뉴미디어개발협회는 전자네트웍협의회와 협력으로 올해 6월말부터 2개월에 걸쳐 일본내에서 서비스되고 있는 PC통신의 실태조사를 실시했다. 데이터베이스분야보다 BBS등 쌍방향PC통신을 대상으로 실시된 이번조사의 특징은 PC통신네트의 서비스내용이 더욱 다양화되고 있는 점을 들 수 있다. 올해로 3회째인 이번 조사에서 일본PC통신인구는 조사당시(6월말 현재) 195만7천명(11월 현재 200만명 돌파)을 넘는 것으로 나타났다. 일본의 PC통신네트의 발전과 현황을 금번조사를 토대로 알아본다.

Bacterial tests can be used for the screening and genetic analysis of the mode of action for genotoxins and anti-mutagens or anti-carcinogens, and attempts to predict their effects in mammals. In this paper we examined various aspects of the assembly of bacterial tests (SOS Chromotest, Ames test, WP2 test, TK test) with genetic properties to analyze the mode of the mutagenic action of 4-nitroquinoline-1-oxide (4-NQO) and N-methyl-N-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG). We confirmed that 4-NQO is one of the mutagens producing excisable mutational damage of DNA and inducing the error-prone SOS response, and MNNG is one of the mutagens producing single strand breaks of DNA directly and inducing the adaptive response, error-free repair system.

유식세포 분리분석기를 이용한 T 세포아군의 분석

단크론 항제 Anti Leu-3a, Anti Leu-2를 사용하여 유식세포 분리분석기를 이용한 정상인 30명과 간염환자 60명의 말초혈액 T 세포아군을 정량분석한 결과 다음과 같다. 1. 정상인의 말초혈액 림프구 중 T1^+, T4^+, T8^+, T4^+/T8^+ 비율은 각각 70.7±35%, 42.1±3.7%, 29.0±3.4%, 1.56±0.21%였다. 2. 바이러스성 간염환자에서 T4 양성세포 비율은 만성 바이러스 간염환자 보다는 급성 바이러스 간염환자에서 증가되는 경향을 보였으며, T8 양성세포비율은 급성 바이러스 간염환자 보다 만성 바이러스 간염환자에서 증가됨을 보였다. 3. 만성 간염환자에서 T1 양성세포가 급속히 감소됨을 보였다. 이와 같은 결과로 보아 간염환자의 면역기능이 발병학적인 T1 양성세포의 현저한 감소로 보아 만성간염환자의 방어기능은 NK(Natural Killer)세포가 주로 역할을 하는 것으로 사료된다. The impeortance of a balance between helper and suppressor cell in maintaining immune homeostasishas recently been illustrated and abnormalities in these T cell subsets have been associated with anumber of himan diseases. It is well known that immune respone to a virus may be regulated byimmumoregulatory network. In this study author analysed the subset of lymphocyte in peripheral bloodduring acute or chronic viral hepatitis. In healthy adults, the percentage of T1^+, T4^+,T8^+, and T4^+/T8^+ratio was 70 7±3.5%, 42.1±3.7%, 29.0±3.4%, and 1.56±0.21, respectively. In viral hepatitis, the percentage of T4^+ was tended to be increased in acute hepatitis than chronic hepatitis and the percentageof T8^+ was tended to be increased in chronic hepatitis than acute hepatitis. The percentage of t1^+was significantly decreased in chronic viral hepatitis than healthy adults. On the basis of these resultsthis study suggested that immunologic response in considered a likely pathogenic determinant in viralhepatitis and NK cells play a role in the host defence responses to chronic viral hepatitis.

결정형 규산분진에 폭로된 섬유모세포의 자가증식 : Evaluation by H₂O₂and PDGF-AA 와 TGFβ

Objectives : The aim of this study is to find out the activity of autoproliferation of rat fibroblast exposed to crystalline silica and the role of mediators secreted from rat fibroblast. Methods : The effect of α-quartz on production of growth factor (platelet-derived growth factor-AA and transforming growth factorβ) from rat fibroblasts were evaluated by ELISA and immunocytochemical analysis. Gene expression of these growth factors in rat fibrobast exposed to crystalline silica was evaluated by RT-PCR. Furthermore, fibroblast proliferation by culture supernatant of rat fibroblast was assayed by the neutral red test. Results : The amounts of H2O2 and growth factors synthesized in rat fibroblasts were significantly increased by the stimulation of crystalline silica (α-quartz) , which showed the dose-dependent manner to the concentration of α-quartz with the maximum response at the dosage of 100 ㎍/㎠. The result of RT-PCR demonstrated that α-quartz induced gene expression of PDGF-AA and TGFβ in rat fibroblast. We also found that supernatant of α-quartz-cocultured rat fibroblast induced a significant proliferation of fibroblast. Conclusion : Crystalline silica directly induce functional change In fibroblast such as increased release of reactive oxygen species and growth factors. The products of these functional change promote fibroblast proliferation via autocrine loop.
