Providing tourism information for people with disability is a difficult task but incorporating their information requirements into an effective ATIS(Accessible Tourism Information System) makes this task much easier. This study aims to understand the travel information requirements of people with different disabilities drawing on Matzler and Sauerwain’s (2002) Three Factor Satisfaction Theory by analyzing the views of UK disabled travelers. The results showed that people with disabilities’ satisfaction levels with attributes which are related to tourism information requirements were, at best, around the mid point. In addition, the results demonstrated that the relationship between attribute level satisfaction and overall satisfaction was not always symmetric and that there were differences in attributes belong to each factor(i.e., basic, performance and excitement) across disability types. Theoretical and practical implications were discussed.

장애인을 위한 관광정보제공은 어려운 과제이지만 장애인유형에 따른 관광정보욕구를 이해하고 이를 접근가능한 관광정보시스템(ATIS)에 반영하는 것은 이러한 과제를 훨씬 용이하게 만든다. 본 연구는 장애인의 관광정보욕구(관광지의 접근성에 대한정보, 접근가능한 ATISs) 관련 속성에 대한 만족이 전반적 만족에 미치는 영향을 Matzler와 Sauerwain(2002)의 삼요인 만족모델을 통해 살펴봄으로써 장애유형에 따른 ATIS 개발에 필요한 시사점을 도출할 목적으로 실행되었다. 주요 결과를 요약하면, 첫째, 장애인들의 관광정보욕구 관련 속성들에 대해 보이는 만족수준은 보통 이하인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 장애인의 관광정보욕구와 관련된 속성에 대한 만족이 이용한 관광정보원천과 관련한 전반적 만족에 미치는 영향은 항상 대칭성을 보이지 않으며, 장애유형에 따라 각 요인(기본, 실행, 격앙)에 포함되는 속성은 상이한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과의 이론적·실무적 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.
