        In this study, a survey was conducted to study the safety awareness of students through some questionnaire. This study, after practising safety education of university students by means of OSHA(Occupational Safety and Health Adminstration) training method, includes efficiency and recognizability of the safety education for those who did and did not study the safety education. It provides the basic data for the device for efficient safety education of students, with comparing students studied qualitative analysis to find unsafety factor in university and students did not study. The purpose of this study research was to develop and test a measure of cognitive beliefs to injury prevention of Employer. Result of the study shows us efficiency if OSHA training and its possibility of continuous safety education program.

        재해빈발성향 연구에 대한 역사적 변천의 고찰

        Statistical analysis of occupational accidents plays an important role in establishing measures against accidents and for evaluating safety performance in work places. This research work, numerous numbers of research work have been conducted, which attemped to verify the existence of the concept of $quot;accident proneness$quot;. Also researches have been developed in the fields of systems safety analysis and risk analysis to analyze the characteristics of occupational accidents. This paper presents a brief historical review of these research activities. with particular emphasis on the statistical analysis of occupational accidents. Based on this review, further development needs in relation to the statistical research on the occupational accidents in the near future are discussed.

      • 크실렌산화반응공정 냉각장치의 위험성 평가에 관한 연구 : HAZOP 및 HAZAN 기법을 중심으로

        This study ascertain the danger of oxidation reaction prcess by executing Hazop study. an accepted (formula) accepted method on the cooling system. (Provided that a server exothermic reaction leads to the failure of temperature control. Cooling system is a point to the temperature control, for an explosion happens by reaction influx.) In the xylene oxidation reaction process of chemical plants, and gain a conclusion as this as a result of analyzing FTA which is a quantitative analysis. 1. The primary cause of breakdown by Hazop Study is the failure of cooling water measurement, the defect of cooling water control, the trouble of water supply pump, the trouble of controller and control valve, the stop of condenser, the lack of cooling water in water supply tank. 2. The actions for the above mentioned cause are to install low level alarm on LIC, provide spare water make-up pump, interlock between flow transducer of cooling line and spare pump power, provide two separate level transducer on AD-902, inspect LT, LIC, LV and instrument air, regularly careful check for water makeup line, and provide two separate flow transducer, regularly inspect tube bundle in condenser, check maintenance procedure and schedule, isolation of cooling water source, install check value to prevent reverse flow, and we must store spare water in cooling water storage tank. ring the alarm to a let the low of water level to operator, or increase twofold for reliability. 3. With the above modification (reference: table 3-1 and fig 4-2), it could be reduced the fault rate of cooling system in Xylene Oxidation reactor from 2.80 faults/year to 1.16 faults/year after Hazop study. 4. As the rate of whole system decrease from 2.80 faults/year to 1.16 faults/year. and the fault rate average period of parts is $lt;수식$gt; of parts exchange is prolonged from $lt;수식$gt; This is even more economical compared with the price of LT, FT, several parts installed additionally. Other than this, incase the fault rate lesson the possibility of an accident and disaster decrease. Therefore, I think the decrease of trouble percent gives rise to (brings) economical profit.

        This study is concerned with the fire-fighting safety in underground region, especially, in the underground downtown of Inchon city. This study is concentrated on suggesting the basic data to set up the countermeasure for fire fighting safety through analysing the forms, structures, and characteristics of underground space and understanding the actual condition of fire-fighting facility. The actual condition of the underground downtown in Inchon city was surveyed and its problems and improvement were tried to be found.

        크실렌 산화공정 냉각장치의 고장진단 전문가시스템의 구축

        We establish an expert system for the xylene oxidation reaction process of chemical plants using HAZOP(Hazard and Operability Studies). Our research focus is only reduced to the cooling system of the total chemical plant due to lack of information. This expert system shows the priority of reasons for the system failure using confidence factor.

        The role of airport lights system is to carry information as composing the way of lights, and to be designed and be deployed as that way. The crew see this way and know the related position between them and on airstrip, and receive a guide information on flight. Like this, offering analogue information being integrated each airport lights systems like approach lights or runway center line lights is the airport lights system. Because the guide information by the way of light is a direct-reading one by sight, even if it occurs mistakes, it is the things of human senses, such as, the blunder by a illusion or a daze, so you should make efforts to prevent accidents by the cooperation of inter-crews, and continuity with AVIONICS(Aviation Electronics) as a plan. For not only the spiritual safety of pilots, but also the offer of accurate visual information, the safe maintenance and management of airport lights increases the importance in view of the safe airpassage by the pilots nicely connecting two different information. If you maintain the airport lights possessing both reliance and safety through the improvement of repair way of Kimpo International Airport's light, you can previously prevent pilots from spoil a plan accident through the exclusion of human accident cause such as pilot s illusion by airport lights.
