본 논문은 H.264 디코더용 인트라 예측 회로 구조와 설계를 제시한다. H.264의 인트라 예측에는 총 17개의 예측 모드, 즉 루마 $4\times4$ 블록을 위한 9개의 예측 모드, 루마 $16\times16$ 블록을 위한 4개의 예측 모드, 크로마 $8\times8$ 블록을 위한 4개의 예측 모드가 있다 모든 예측 모드에서 공통된 연산들을 추출하여 이들을 수행하기 위한 공통연산부를 정의하였다. 모든 예측 모드에서 이 연산부를 공유하는 제안된 회로 구조는 설계 측면에서 체계적이고 회로 크기 측면에서 효율적이다. This paper presents the architecture and design of intra prediction circuit for H.264 decoder. There are a total of 17 operational modes in the intra prediction of H.264- nine modes for a luma $4\times4$ block, four modes for a luma $16\times16$ block and four modes for a chroma $8\times8$ block. We extracted common operations included in all prediction modes and defined the common operations unit to perform those operations. The proposed circuit architecture sharing this unit in all prediction modes is systematic from the design point of view and efficient in terms of circuit size.

한반도 주변해상에 큰 영향을 미친 태풍 LEE, VERA, THELMA 통과시의 파랑관측 자료에 대하여 zero-up & down crossing법 및 Tucker-Draper법으로 구한 유의파고를 파랑스펙트럼법으로 구한 유의파고와 비교분석하였다. 그리고 zero-up crossing법으로 구한 개별파의 파고분포를 Rayleigh, Weibull, Gluhovski, Ibrageemov, Goda의 분포와 비교한 후 Chi-square 검증을 실시하였다. 분석결과 zero-crossing법으로 구한 유의파고가 스펙트럼에서 구한 유의파고와 가장 잘 일치하였으며, 파고분포는 Rayleigh와 Goda 분포가 관측치에 가장 잘 맞는 것으로 나타났다. Using the wave data by typhoons LEE, VERA, THELMA which gave great damages in the Korean penisula, the significant waves based on zero-up & down crossing and Tucker-Draper method are compared with those from the wave energy spectrum. And the histograms of individual waves obtained from zero-up crossing method are presented and compared with the Rayleigh, Weibull, Gluhovski, Ibrageemov and Goda distributions, and also the Chi-square goodness of fit test is applied to each theoretical distributions. It is shown that the significant wave heights by zero-up crossing method are very well agreed to those by energy spectrum method. The wave heights are found to well follow the Rayleigh and Goda distributions by the Chi-square test.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of $\alpha$-wave music and art appreciation on hand function. Methods: A total of 22 university students participated in this study (10 males and 12 females). Twelve subjects received $\alpha$-wave music and art appreciation. The other subjects received neither. All subjects were assessed for hand function (manual dexterity, power grip, pinch, lateral pinch, tactile sense) using a Purdue pegboard, dynamometer, pinch gauge, and Semmes-Weinstein monofilament wire. The data were analyzed using paired and independent t-tests. Results: The results were as follows: 1. In the experimental group, manual dexterity and tactile sense were significantly increased between pre- and post-intervention (p<0.05). Within the control group, manual dexterity and power grip were significantly increased between pre- and post-test (p<0.05). 2. With regard to dexterity and tactile sense, the experimental group experienced a significant post-intervention increase compared to the control group (p<0.05). There was no significant difference in power grip, pinch, or lateral pinch changes between the two groups (p>0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study show that $\alpha$-wave music and art appreciation affect hand function with regard to manual dexterity and tactile sense.
