        비산석탄회의 방사능 농도 분석

        국내 석탄화력발전소에서 발생되는 비산석탄회의 방사능 농도 분석을 수행하였고 재활용을 위한 방사능 함량의 유해도를 평가하였다. TBP 용매추출법과 알파스펙트로베타를 사용하여 비산석탄회에 존재하는 우라늄 동위원소($^{238}U,\;^{235}U,\;^{234}U$)의 방사능 농도를 측정하였으며, 감마스펙트로메타를 사용하여 $^{226}Ra,\;^{232}Th,\;^{40}K$ 등의 방사능 농도를 결정하였다. 우라늄 동위원소의 농도측정 결과 $^{238}U,\;^{235}U,\;^{234}U$의 방사능 농도는 평균적으로 각각 116.1, 5.01, 및 121.2 Bq $kg^{-1}$으로 나타났으며, $^{234}U/^{238}U$의 방사능 농도비는 $1.04\;{\pm}\;0.03$ 로서 자연상태의 토양중 방사능 농도 비인 1.14 와 유사하였다. 동일시료에 대한 감마측정 결과 $^{226}Ra,\;^{292}Th$ 및 $^{40}K$의 방사능 농도는 각각 $101.7\;{\sim}\;113.9,\;39.5\;{\sim}\;54.2$, 및 $315.0\;{\sim}\;990.6$ Bq $kg^{-1}$ 으로 나타났다. $^{226}Ra,\;^{292}Th$ 및 $^{40}K$ 동위원소의 농도를 사용하여 재활용 목적으로서의 비산석탄회의 방사능 함량 유해도를 평가하였고, 그 결과 본 연구의 대상물질인 비산석탄회의 방사능 함량은 허용기준치 이하로 나타났다. The specific radioactivity concentrations in the coal fly ash obtained from heat producing stations in Korea were analyzed and its radiological hazard for reuse in construction purpose was evaluated. The concentrations of uranium isotopes in the real fly ash measured by TBP solvent extraction method and $\alpha$-spectrometer were found to be about 116.1 Bq $kg^{-1}$ for $^{238}U$, 5.01 Bq $kg^{-1}$ for $^{235}U$, and 121.2 Bq $kg^{-1}$ for $^{234}U$, respectively. The activity ratio of $^{234}U/^{238}U$, in the coal fly ash was in $1.04\;{\pm}\;0.03$, which is similar to that of uncontaminated Korean soil in natural conditions (1.14). The specific radioactivities of $^{226}Ra,\;^{232}Th,\;and\;^{40}K$ in the coal fly ash were also determined using $\gamma$-spectrometer with a HPGe detector The results showed that $^{226}Ra,\;^{232}Th,\;and\;^{40}K$ in the coal fly ash were in concentrations of $101.7{\sim}113.9$, $39.5{\sim}54.2\;and\;315.0{\sim}990.6$ Bq $kg^{-1}$, respectively. With the specific radioactivities obtained from $\gamma$-spectrometric measurements of the coal fly ash, its radiological hazard for reuse was evaluated. The result showed that the radioactivity of the coal fly ash was in permissible level.

        백하오이중탕의 기원(基源), 변천(變遷), 구성(構成)에 대한 고찰(考察)

        1. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to understand the origin, the progressive changes and the constructive principles of Packhaoleejung-tang (白何烏理中湯) 2. Methods: Packhaoleejung-tang and other related prescriptions were analyzed in terms of their pathological indications, based on "Donguisusebowon Chobongwon (東醫壽世保元 草本卷)", "Donguisusebowon Gabobon (東醫壽世保元 甲午本)", "Donguisusebowon Sinchukbon (東醫壽世保元 辛丑本)", "Dongmuyugo (東武遺稿)", "Shanghanlun (傷寒論)". 3. Results and Conclusions: (1) The origin of Packhaoleejung-tang is leejung-tang from "Shanghanlun (傷寒論)". Packhaoleejung-tang inherited some of the principles from "Shanghanlun (傷寒論)" Insamkeiji-tang (2) "Gabobon(甲午本)"'s one prescription Hyangsaleejung-tang emphasizes the effect of lossen up by using Pogostemonis Herb (藿香),Amomi Fructus(砂仁). "Gabobon(甲午本)"'s another prescription Packhaoleejungtang emphasizes the effect of warm up stomach by using Cinnamomum cassia Blume (桂枝), Allium sativum Linne (獨頭蒜), Cynanchum wilfordii(白何首烏). "Sinchukbon(辛丑本)"'s prescription Packhaobujaleejungtang emphasizes the effect of warm up stomach by using Aconitum carmichaeli(附子) (3) The Packhaoleejung-tang is composed of 7 herbs. Atractlodis Rhizoma White(白朮), Glycyrrhizae Radix(甘草), Paeoniae Radix Alba(白芍藥) support Soeumin's spleen root (脾元), and Zingiberis Rhizoma(乾薑),Cinnamomum cassia Blume (桂枝, Cynanchum wilfordii(白何首烏) warm up stomach. Citri Pericarpium(陳皮) circulate Qi and encourage the descension of Yin.

        인지예비능의 신경적 기질에 대한 서술적 문헌고찰 연구: 휴지기 기능적 자기공명영상 연구를 중심으로

        Cognitive reserve (CR) is a concept that can explain the discrepancies between the pathologic burden of the disease and clinical manifestations. It refers to the individual susceptibility to age-related brain changes and pathologies related to Alzheimer’s disease, thus recognized as a factor affecting the trajectories of the disease. The purpose of this study was to explore the current states of clinical studies on neural substrates of CR in Alzheimer’s disease using functional magnetic resonance imaging. We searched for clinical studies on CR using fMRI in the Pubmed, Cochrane library, RISS, KISS and ScienceON on August 14, 2023. Once the online search was finished, studies were selected manually by the inclusion criteria. Finally, we analyzed the characteristics of selected articles and reviewed the neural substrates of CR. Total thirty-four studies were included in this study. As surrogate markers of CR, not only education and occupational complexity, but also composite score and questionnaire-based method, which cover various areas of life, were mainly used. The most utilized methods in resting-state fMRI were independent component analysis, seed-based analysis, and graph theory analysis. Through the analysis, we demonstrated that neuroimaging techniques could capture the neural substrates associated with cognitive reserve. Moreover, functional connectivity of brain regions centered on prefrontal and parietal cortex and network areas such as default mode network showed a significant correlation with CR, which indicated a significant association with cognitive performance. CR may induce differential effects according to the disease status. We hope that this perspective on cognitive reserve would be helpful when conducting clinical researches on the mechanisms of traditional Korean medicine for Alzheimer’s disease in the future.

        GERD와 IBS를 동반한 태음인 위완한증 환자 치험례

        Objectives Rate of gastroesophageal reflux disease accompanied by irritable bowel syndrome is on the increase. This case study reports significant improvement of patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease and irritable bowel syndrome who had suffered from chest pain, globus pharyngis and diarrhea after taking Sasang constitutional treatment. Methods This patient was diagnosed as Large Yin type Esophagus Cold pattern(Taeeumin Wiwanhanjeung). Herb medicine(Jowiseungcheong-tang) was taken by the patient, three or two times per day during treatment periods. We assessed the changes of the main symptoms such as chest pain, globus pharyngis, defecation discomfort, insomnia et al. using visual analogue scale(VAS). Results The symptoms of chest pain, globus pharyngis, defecation discomfort, insomnia decreased from VAS 7~8 to VAS 0~1 for about three months. Conclusions This case shows that Sasang constitutional medicine treatment can be effective treatment method for gastroesophageal reflux disease accompanied by irritable bowel syndrome.

        pH 변화에 따른 카올리나이트와 유로퓸(Eu)의 흡착에 대한 휴믹산의 영향

        The sorption of europium (Eu (III)) onto kaolinite and the influence of humic acids over a range of pH 3 ~ 11 has been studied by batch adsorption experiment (V/m = 250 : 1 mL/g, CEu(III)= 1 × 10−5 mol/L, CHA= 5 ~ 50mg/L, PCO2= 10−3.5 atm). The concentrations of HA and Eu(III) in aqueous phase were measured by UV absorbance at 254 nm (e.g., UV254) and ICP-MS after microwave digestion for HA removals, respectively. Results showed that the HA sorption onto kaolinite was decreased with increasing pH and their sorption isotherms fit well with the Langmuir adsorption model (except pH 3). Maximum amount (qmax) for the HA sorption at pH 4 to 11 was ranged from 4.73 to 0.47 mg/g. Europium adsorption onto the kaolinite in the absence of HA was typical, showing an increases with pH and a distinct adsorption edge at pH 3 to 5. However in the presence of HA, Eu adsorption to kaolinite was significantly affected. HA was shown to enhance Eu adsorption in the acidic pH range (pH 3 ~ 4) due to the formation of additional binding sites for Eu coming from HA adsorbed onto kaolinite surface, but reduce Eu adsorption in the intermediate and high pH above 6 due to the formation of aqueous Eu-HA complexes. The results on the ternary interaction of kaolinte-Eu-HA are compared with those on the binary system of kaolinite-HA and kaolinite-Eu and adsorption mechanism with pH was discussed. 본 연구에서는 pH(3 ~ 11)에 따른 카올리나이트(kaolinite)와 유로퓸(Eu(III))의 흡착에 있어서 휴믹산(HA)이 미치는 영향을 회분식 실험(V/m = 250 : 1 mL/g, CEu(III)= 1 × 10−5mol/L, CHA= 5 ~ 50 mg/L, PCO2= 10−3.5 atm)을 통해 조사 하였다. 반응 상등액 중 HA 농도는 254 nm에서의 UV 흡광도(즉, UV254) 분석을 통해 결정하였고, Eu(III) 농도는 마이크로웨이브(microwave)를 통한 전처리 후 ICP-MS를 이용하여 측정하였다. 실험결과, 카올리나이트에 대한 HA 의 흡착은 전형적인 Langmuir 흡착 특성(pH 3 제외)을 보였으며, pH가 증가할수록 감소하였다. pH 4 ~ 11에서의 최 대 흡착량(qmax)은 4.73 ~ 0.47 mg/g의 범위이었다. 카올리나이트에 대한 Eu(III) 흡착은 pH 3 ~ 5에서 급격히 증가한 이 후 pH 6이상에서 흡착포화(adsorption edge)에 도달하는 전형적인 Eu-광물질 흡착곡선을 보였다. 그러나 HA가 존재하는 경우 pH에 따른 흡착특성에 변화를 보였다. 즉, pH가 낮은 산성영역(pH 3 ~ 4)에서는 카올리나이트에 흡 착된 HA에 의한 Eu의 추가 흡착으로 인해 Eu의 흡착율이 상승하나, 중성 및 알칼리 영역(pH > 6)에서는 용존성 EuHA 착물 형성으로 인해 Eu 흡착율이 크게 감소하였다. 이러한 카올리나이트-Eu-HA 삼성분계에서의 흡착실험 결 과는 카올리나이트-HA, 카올리나이트-Eu 등의 결과와 비교 해석하였고, pH에 따른 흡착 기작의 차이점을 고찰하였다.

        토양에서 추출한 흄산의 분자량별 분류에 따른 분광학적 성질 비교

        토양에서 얻어진 흄산(HA)을 한외 여과법을 이용 분자량에 따라 4개의 소부분(F1 : 100,000 dalton 이상; F2 : 100,000 dalton 이하;10,000 dalton 이하; F4 : 2,000 dalton 이하)으로 분리한 뒤 적외선 분광법과 핵자기 공명 분광법을 통하여 각 소부분들의 분광학적 특성을 규명하고 상호간에 비교 분석하였다. 4개 소부분들의 $1^H$과 $13^C$ NMR 스펙트럼은 전체적인 특성에서 모두 흄산 모액 스펙트럼과 유사하게 나타났다. 이 결과는 분자량이 변하더라도 흄산의 전체적 특성이 그대로 유지됨을 제시한다. 차이점으로는 IR 스펙트럼 결과 분자량이 적어지면서 다당류 성분 함량이 다소 감소된 반면 카르복실기 성분 함량은 조금 증가된 것으로 나타났다. The soil humic acid was subdivided into four subfractions by molecular weight (F1: >100.000 dalton; F2: >100.000 dalton; F3: >10.000 dalton; F4: >2.000 dalton) using MP-dual hollow fiber ultrafiltration system. The characterization using IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, showed similar spectroscopic features of HA, demonstrating that the bulk properties of HA subfractions are very similar to one another. IR spectral data showed a decrease in polysaccharide contents and increase in carboxylate functionality as molecular weight become smaller.functions. The structure of (NO) can be described by two interactions (N${\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}$N, N${\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}$O). One is the ONNO structure with an (N${\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}$N) interaction. In this structure, acyclic cis-ONNO with $C_{2v}$-symmetry, acyclic trans-ONNO with $C_{2h}$, and cyclic ONNO with trapezoidal structure ($C_{2v}$) are optimized at the MP2 level. The other structure is the ONON structure with an (N${\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}$O) interaction. In the structure, acyclic cis-ONON with Cs$^{-symmetry}$ and cyclic ONON of the rectangular ($C_{2h}$), square $(D_{2h})$, rhombic $(D_{2h})$, and parallelogramic $(D_{2h})$ geometries are also optimized. It is found that acyclic cis-ONNO $(^1A_1$) is the most stable structure and cyclic ONNO ($^3A_1$) is the least stable. Acyclic trans-ONNO ($^3A_1$) with an (N${\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}$N) interaction, acyclic trans-ONON and bicyclic ONON $(C_{2v})$ with (N${\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}$O) interaction, and acyclic cis- and trans-NOON with an (O${\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}$O) interaction can not be optimized at the MP2 level. Particularly, acyclic trans-ONNO with $C_{2h}$-symmetry can not be optimized at the CCSD(T) level. Meanwhile, acyclic NNOO ($^1A_1$, $C_s)$ and trianglic NNOO ($^1A_1$,$C_{2v})$ formed by the (O${\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}$N) interaction between $O_2$and $N_2$are optimized at the MP2 level. The binding energies and the relative energy gaps among the isomers are found to be relatively small./sec. Spiral CT scans during the arterial phase were obtained 35 seconds after the injection of contrast medium. CT findings of 78 lesions less than 4cm in diameter were correlated with angiographic findings. Results : The attenuation of lesions was high(n = 69), iso(n = 5), and low(n = 4) compared with liver parenchyma during the arterial phase of spiral CT. In lesions with high-, iso-, and low-attenuation during the arterial phase of spiral CT, hypervascularity on angiograms was found in 63 of 69(91.3%), three of five(60%), and three of four lesions(75%), respectively. Six lesions with high-attenuation on the arterial phase of spiral CT were not seen on angiography. Two iso-attenuated and one low-attenuated lesion were hypovascular on angiograms. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that with some exceptions there was good correlation between the arterial phase of spiral CT and angiography.

        형방지황탕(荊防地黃湯)으로 경계(驚悸), 정충(??)을 치료한 양성 부정맥 소양인(少陽人)환자 1례(例)

        1. Objectives: This case study reports clinical improvement of a Soyangin benign arrhythmia patient who showed improvement of palpitation symptoms after treatment with Hyeongbangjihwang-tang. 2. Methods: The patient's subjective and objective symptoms were observed daily, and the VAS scores and duration times of palpitation were recorded daily throughout the hospitalization period. 3. Results: The general condition of the patient improved by the end of hospitalization. The VAS score dropped from 4-10 to 0-1, and the duration of palpitation dropped from 50-160 min to 0-5 min. Other symptoms such as diarrhea and lower back pain also showed improvement. 4. Conclusion: This case study shows the effectiveness of Hyeongbangjihwang-tang in the treatment of palpitation. Although the literature on Hyeongbangjihwang-tang does not report its usage on palpitation, the prescription was shown to be effective in the case where the palpitation symptom is concomitant to the general symptomatology of the Mangeum disease, a pathology indicative of Hyeongbangjihwang-tang.
