        노인의 근감소증과 비만 및 근감소 관련 변인의 관련성 연구

        In this study, 80 elderly people aged 65 years or older living in Gyeongnam, South Korea were divided into a sarcopenia group (N=37) and a normal group (N=43) using an index determined by dividing the appendicular skeletal muscle mass (ASM), measured using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry, by the square of height (ASM/Ht2). Obesity-related variables (waist and hip circumferences, body fat ratio, and blood pressure) and muscle reduction-related variables (ASM/Ht2, grip strength, static balance, and 6-minute walking speed) were measured and compared between the two groups. The conclusions are as follows: 1. The ASM, waist circumference, hip circumference, left and right grip strengths, and 6-minute walking speed were higher in the normal group than in the sarcopenia group, whereas the body fat ratio was higher in the sarcopenia group (p<.05). 2. The more obese people showed a smaller ASM, and the people with a larger ASM showed larger waist and hip circumferences and physical (e.g., muscle) strength (p<.05). 3. We found a difference in the presence or absence of circulatory system diseases according to the presence or absence of sarcopenia(p<.05). To summarize the results of this study, sarcopenia in the elderly is highly correlated with body fat and muscle reduction-related variables. Among the muscle reduction-related variables, grip strength, which corresponds to muscle strength, and 6-minute walking distance, which corresponds to endurance, were found to be highly correlated with sarcopenia. This highlights the importance of obesity and fitness management in sarcopenia.

        고온환경에서 소방방화복과 공기호흡기착용에 따른 운동 시 중추피로 관련 변인 비교

        Firefighting Protective Clothing is heavy and unable to control the body temperature due to the increase in sweat, and when the physical activities are sustained in high temperature environment. The subjects were 10 healthy male students in their 20s. Duplication applied with double blind was used as the test method consisting of Firefighting Protective Clothing group(FPC; n=10) and Firefighting Protective Clothing+Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus group(SCBA; n=10) and the experiment was conducted alternately with one week intervals. The temperature condition was set to WBGT 30°C. Exercise load was set with the intensity of 6 METs(83.3 m*min-1, 6%). In order to verify the interaction, the two-way repeated measures ANOVA was conducted. As a result of experiment, interaction was not shown in all variables, and in RPE, SCBA group was shown significant higher than the FPC group indicating that heavier the weight in high temperature environment, the subjects felt more difficult.

        12주 복합운동이 비만청소년의 비만지표, 에너지기질, 인슐린저항성 및 CRP에 미치는 영향

        The study was attempted to investigate the effects of 12 weeks of combined exercise on obesity index, insulin resistance and CRP in obese adolescents. The subjects of this study were to determine the body mass index (BMI) by using the height and weight of the first and second grade boys in middle school, and then apply it to the percentile curve. Twenty subjects were included in the experimental group (EG, Exercise Group, 10) and the control group (CG, Control Group, 10). In the exercise program, exercise intensity was set at RPE 11-15, and walking and band exercise were performed for 5 times, 50 minutes per week for a total of 12 weeks. ANOVA with repeated measure was performed on the measured values of the dependent variables before and after the group exercise, and the statistical significance level of hypothesis test was set to .05. Experimental results show that 12-week combined exercise program increases the amount of physical activity in obese adolescents and has a positive effect on obesity indices such as weight, body fat, BMI, waist circumference, and obesity related factors such as energy substrate and insulin resistance.

        비만남자 대학생의 8주 복합운동이 신체구성, 에너지기질, Leptin 및 Acylated Ghrelin에 미치는 영향

        The study was attempted to investigate the effects of 8 weeks of combined exercise on body composition, energy substrate, leptin and AG in obese male college student. The subjects of this study were selected by dividing 20 male students from K University in C with no professional athletic experience with a body fat rate of 25% or more into EG (Exercise Group, n=10) and CG (Control Group, n=10). In the exercise program, exercise intensity was set at RPE 11-15, walking and band exercise were performed for 5 times, 50 minutes per week for a total of 8 weeks. ANOVA with repeated measure was performed on the measured values of the dependent variables before and after the group exercise, and the statistical significance level of hypothesis test was set to .05. Experimental results show that 8-weeks combined exercise program increases the amount of physical activity in obese men and has a positive effect on obesity indices such as weight, body fat, BMI, waist circumference, and obesity related factors such as energy substrate and appetite hormone.

        비만남자대학생의 8주 트레드밀 운동이 신체구성, 인슐린저항성, 심혈관질환 위험인자 및 심폐체력에 미치는 영향

        The study was attempted to investigate the effects of 8 weeks of Treadmill exercise on body composition, Insulin Resistance, Cardiovascular Risk Factors and Cardiopulmonary fitness in Obese Male College Students. The subjects of this study were selected by dividing 10 male students from K University in C with no professional athletic experience with a body fat rate of 25% In the exercise program, exercise intensity was set at HRR 50~70%. Treadmill walking and running exercise was performed for 5 times, 50 minutes per week for a total of 8 weeks. Paired t-test was performed on the measured values of the dependent variables before and after exercise, and the statistical significance level of hypothesis test was set to .05. Experimental results show that 8-weeks Treadmill exercise program increases the amount of physical activity in Obese Male College Students and has a positive effect on obesity indices such as weight, body fat, VFA, waist circumference, and insulin, HOMA-IR, FFA, TG, Systolic blood pressure, V̇O₂max. In summary the 8 weeks of Treadmill exercise was effective for obesity in obese male college students.

        고온환경에서 소방용 개인보호장비과 공기호흡기를 착용한 트레드밀운동의 운동강도 차이가 도파민, 세로토닌에 미치는 영향

        Firefighting protective clothing is heavy and unable to control the body temperature due to the increase in sweat when the physical activities are sustained in high temperature environment. The subjects were 20 healthy male students in their 20s. Duplication applied with double blind was used as the test method consisting of Control group(6 CON; 6 mets Control group, n=10/ 9CON; 9 mets Control group, n=10) and firefighting protective clothing+self-contained breathing apparatus group(6SCBA; 6mets self- contained breathing apparatus, n=10/ 9SCBA; 9mets self- contained breathing apparatus, n=10) and the experiment was conducted alternately with seven days interval. The temperature condition was set to WBGT 30℃. exercise loads were set with the intensity of 6mets(83.3 m<SUP>*</SUP>min-1, 6%). and 9 METs(100 m<SUP>*</SUP>min-1, 10%). In order to verify the interaction, the two-way repeated measures ANOVA was conducted. As a result of experiment, the effect of fatigue hormone and physiological responses on thermostability was found to be related to high intensity exercise was a strong fatigue factor.

        12주 복합운동이 비만중년여성의 비만지표, 심혈관질환 위험인자, 레지스틴 및 심폐체력에 미치는 영향

        This study aims to examine the impact of 12-week Combined exercise program on the obesity indicators, cardiovascular risk factors, resistance and cardiopulmonary fitness of obese middle-aged women. To do so, it experimented 20 middle-aged women with percentage of body fat over 35% after assigning them to experimental group(n=10) and control group(n=10) and let them do aerobic and resistance exercise for 50 to 60 minutes per, 5 times a week during 12 weeks. For data analysis, two-way repeated measures ANOVA was used. The analysis brought forth the findings as follows. 1. there were interactive effects in % fat, VFA, WHR. 2. there were interactive effects in FFA, TG, HDL-C, SBP. 3. there were interactive effects in V̇O₂max, Heart rate at rest. In conclusion, 12-week complex exercise turned out to have positive impact on obesity indicators, cardiovascular risk factors, cardiopulmonary fitness of obese middle-aged women.

        트레이닝 프로그램 차이가 농구동호인의 신체조성, 기초체력 및 무산소성 운동능력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of 8-weeks training programs difference conducted by basketball club members on their body composition, basic physical fitness and anaerobic capacity. 16 participants, who were all members of a nationwide amateur basketball club association, were divided into two groups of eight: Technical training group (TTG) and plyometric training group (PTG). While technical training programs were conducted three times a week for 60 minutes by TTG, plyometric training programs were gradually implemented by PTG: Three sets of 12 reps during the first week to the fourth; four sets of 15 reps during the fifth week to eighth. The results were as follows: 1. In terms of body composition, meaningful effects including interaction effects on body weight, body fat percentage, body fat amount, BMI, fat-free body mass did not appear (p>.05). 2. In terms of basic physical fitness, PTG compared to TTG showed a meaningful improvement in muscle strength, flexibility, speed, agility and balance (p<.05). 3. In terms of anaerobic capacity, PTG compared to TTG showed a meaningful improvement in maximum power and average power (p<.05). In conclusion, this study found that the plyometric training program had positive effects on basic physical fitness, anaerobic capacity of the participating basketball players, proving the plyometric training program was appropriate to improve physical strength of amateur basketball club members.

        8주 복합운동이 비만중년여성의 대사증후군 위험인자와 아디포싸이토카인에 미치는 영향

        The the Effects of 8 Weeks Combined Exercise of the Body Composition, Metabolic Syndrome Risk Factors, and Inflammatory Markers on Middle Aged Obese Women. 20 middle-aged women whose body fat is over 30% were divided into an experimental group and a control group to compare the differences in the study. Then, they were asked to exercise for 8weeks and 5days a week; aerobic exercise(50-60% HRmax) and weight training(1-RM 50%) 15times 2sets during the first four weeks, 15times 3sets for the rest of the week. The data analysis used to 2-way (RM)ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows; 1. Changes in Body Composition, in exercise group weight(p<.001), body fat(p<.001), fat mass(p<.001), visceral fat area(p<.001) have decreased and the interaction occurred. 2. Changes in Metabolic Syndrome Risk Factors, in exercise group percentage of WHR(p<.01), TG(p<.01), SBP(p<.05) have decreased. HDL-C(p<.001) has increased. The percentage of abdominal fat, HDL-C, SBP showed an interaction. 3. Changes in Inflammatory Markers, in exercise group Resistin(p<.01) has decreased and an interaction occurred. As the research shows a positive result for 8 weeks combined exercises on middle aged obese women, this test is considered to be an efficient treatment on sports field.
