In order to provide a fundamental understanding of cloth surface smoothness, the wrinkle components in the AATCC standard replica were studied. Using an image acquisition system with a line light source and a camera, images of the replica were obtained. Four images of each replication were taken at intervals of $90^{\circ}$ degree rotations. The wrinkle ridges in the image were extracted using Canny edge detection, while the shade generated by the wrinkles was obtained using line threshold method. The ridge density, the distribution of ridge-to-ridge distance and the shade length distribution were measured and calculated. The three factors measured showed a strong non-linear relationship with the replication grades.

Most researches on the objective evaluation of fabric wrinkle have ignored that are really important parameters in subjective evaluation using standard replicas. This research has been conducted to find the important parameters in subjective evaluation. In this research, the number and depth of wrinkle were found to be the important parameters. The number of wrinkle was calculated from the ridge density and the distribution of distance between ridges. The depth of wrinkle was calculated from shade length distribution using image analysis. The results showed strong non-linear relationships with those of subjective evaluation.
역동적 외고정 장치를 이용한 근위지간 관절의 골절-탈구 손상 치료의 임상결과

Purpose: We evaluated clinical outcomes after treating patients with proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint fracture-dislocation with dynamic external fixator with which early joint motion can be undertaken to prevent joint stiffness effectively and fixate joints firmly. Methods: Dynamic external fixators were applied for 20 fracture-dislocation of the PIP joints in 19 patients. The joints involved were 2nd PIP joint in two patients, 3rd PIP joint in three patients, 4th PIP joint in five patients, 5th PIP joint in eight patients. One patient had both 3rd and 4th PIP joint fracture-dislocation. Surgery was performed at least within four weeks. The mean age of the patients was 30.5 years (range, 15–54 years) and the mean follow-up duration was 1.85 years (range, 1–2.3 years) years. All patients were clinically and radiologically assessed on an outpatient basis after being discharged. Results: At the final follow-up, the mean range of motion of PIP joints in flexion was 100.1° (flexion range, 88°–110°), the mean extension lag was 3.0° (extension range, 0°–10°), and the mean visual analogue scale score was 0.8. On anteriorposterior and lateral radiographs, congruity of the joint was satisfactory and 1 mm step off was present in three cases. Conclusion: We attained satisfactory clinical outcomes on the recovery of joint movement and joint congruity after treating PIP joint fracture-dislocation injury with dynamic external fixator. 목적: 저자들은 조기 관절 운동을 통해 근위지간 관절의 강직 발생을 효과적으로 줄이면서도 관절을 안정적으로 고정할수 있는 역동적 외고정 장치를 통하여 근위지간 관절 골절 탈구 손상을 치료하고 그 임상결과를 보고하고자 하였다. 방법: 총 20수지(19명)의 다양한 근위지간 관절 골절 및 탈구에 대하여 역동적 외고정 장치를 적용하였다. 제2수지 근위지간 관절 골절-탈구의 경우 2예, 제3수지의 경우 3예, 제4수지 5예, 제5수지 8예였으며, 제3, 4수지 동시에 근위지간관절의 골절-탈구가 발생하였던 경우도 1예가 있었다. 수술은 전례에서 적어도 4주 이내 시행되었으며 환자의 평균 연령은 30.5세(범위, 15-54세), 평균 추시 기간은 1.85년(범위, 1-2.3년)이었으며, 모든 환자들은 퇴원 후 외래에 방문하여임상적 및 영상학적 결과에 대해서 평가 받았다. 결과: 최종 추시 시 근위지간 관절의 평균 운동 범위는 굴곡 시 평균 101.1° (굴곡각, 88°-110°; 건 측의 93.5%) 신전 지체 평균 3.0° (신전각, 0°-10°)였으며, 통증 점수는 visual analogue scale score상 0.8점이었다. 전후면 및 측면 단순 방사선학적 검사상 관절 면의 조화도는 만족스러웠으며 3예에서 1 mm의 step off가 관찰되었다. 결론: 역동적 외고정 장치를 이용한 수지의 근위지간 관절 골절-탈구 손상의 수술적 치료는 관절운동 및 관절 면의 조화도의 회복에 만족스러운 임상결과를 보였다.

본 논문에서는 PVT(process, voltage, and temperature) 변화에 대한 보상기능을 가지는 시간-디지털 변환기(time-to-digitalconverter:TDC)를 제안한다. 일반적인 지연 라인(delay line) 기반의 TDC는 인버터의 전파 지연을 기반으로 시간을 측정하기 때문에 근본적으로 PVT 변화에 민감하다. 이 논문은 PVT 변화에 의한 전파 지연을 보상하여 TDC의 해상도 변화를 최소화시키는방법을 제안한다. 또한 넓은 입력 측정 범위(detection range)를 갖기 위해 Cyclic Vernier TDC (CVTDC) 구조를 채택한다. 제안하는 PVT보상 기능의 CVTDC는 45nm CMOS 공정으로 설계되어, 8mW의 전력을 소모하며, 5 ps의 TDC 해상도 및 약 5.1ns 입력 측정 범위를 갖는다. In this paper, we propose a time-to-digital converter (TDC) with compensation capability for PVT (process,voltage, and temperature) variations. A typical delay line-based TDC measures time based on the inverter’s propagationdelay, making it fundamentally sensitive to PVT variations. This paper presents a method to minimize theresolution change of TDC by compensating for the propagation delay caused by the PVT variations. Additionally,it dopts Cyclic Vernier TDC (CVTDC) structure to provide a wide input detection range. The proposed CVTDC withPVT compensation function is designed using a 45nm CMOS process, consumes 8mW of power, offers a TDCresolution of 5 ps, and has an input detection range of about 5.1 ns.
