      • ICT 산업에서의 기술표준정책에 대한 제도적 분석 : WIPI 사례를 중심으로

        본 연구에서는 한국 정부의 ICT 산업 육성정책이었던 WIPI 사례를 분석 대상으로 한다. 특히 본 연구는 기술표준을 둘러싼 환경의 변화가 국내․외 이해당사자들의 전략에 어떠한 영향을 미쳤으며, 정책행위자의 관계에 어떠한 변화를 가져왔으며, 또한 어떠한 제도적 요소에 의하여 표준정책이 결정되는 지에 초점을 맞추어 살펴보았다. 한국은 ICT 산업 정책의 목표를 국가경쟁력 강화로 정하고 급변하는 정보통신 환경 속에서 경쟁의 도입이 요구됨에 따라 정부가 적극적인 지원을 하게 되었다. 그 결과 ICT 산업의 후발국이었던 한국은 TDX, CDMA 등의 성공과 함께 상당한 기술력과 세계시장에서의 주도적 입지를 확보하며 성장할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 원천기술을 가지고 있지 않았던 한국으로서는 막대한 로열티를 지불할 수밖에 없었다. 이러한 상황을 극복하기 위해 정부가 야심적으로 정책을 전개한 것이 WIPI였다. 한국 정부는 기술표준을 둘러싼 환경의 변화에도 불구하고 제도적 관성에 의해 기존에 개입했던 방식 그대로 무선인터넷플랫폼 산업에 개입을 하게 되었다. 그러나 ICT 산업의 경우 표준의 설정과정에 있어서 이해당사자 간의 갈등이 첨예하게 대립되며, 국내 행위자들뿐만이 아닌 국제 통상문제까지 야기되는 특성을 가지고 있다. 그러므로 ICT 산업 특성에 맞는 국가의 역할 및 제도의 변화ㆍ정책의 변화가 이루어져야 한다. 세계 통신시장의 변화를 비롯한 국제정치경제 환경의 변화는 더 이상 국가의 적극적 개입은 이전과 같이 용이하지 않는 상황이 되었음을 보여주었다. 따라서 기술의 발전과 함께 세계화, 자유화, 사실상의 표준 등과 같은 환경의 변화에 정부 조직의 유연한 대처가 이루어져야 한다. 또한 ICT 산업에서는 네트워크 외부성, 수확체증의 법칙, 사실상 표준 등과 같은 산업의 특성으로 인한 약한 결합도와 높은 복잡도의 기술체계에 조응하는 탈집중적 관리구조가 필요함을 보여주고 있다.

      • PCA 기법과 히스토그램 평활화를 이용한 얼굴 인식에 관한 연구

        This paper is suggesting PCA(Principal Component Analysis) using statistical approach method which is used for the histogram equalization to do the face recognition research. PCA has an ability to solve the problem of complexity which comes from the calculation process of the image data of high dimension, and also keeps its great amount of information by using data dimension abstraction technology. In addition, the face recognition technology using PCA recognizes a face by projecting an image into eigenface space. After that, it extracts and compares each feature of the face image and finally, it recognize the face. However, it is still a problem that the rate of recognition is very various from time to time by many external factors, such as lights, backgrounds, and camera's angle and distance. Therefore, to reduce the change rate of recognition, this paper is suggesting the method to equalize shade values for normalization of images, by using histogram equalization. The suggested algorithm shows that the rate of recognition has made 20% improvement in various conditions of face images, comparing the method that does not use histogram equalization. Furthermore, it also shows that it is possible to control the rate of recognition by using a correlation coefficient. 본 논문에서는 통계적 접근법을 사용하는 주성분 분석(PCA: Principal Component Analysis)과 히스토그램 평활화를 이용한 얼굴 인식 연구를 제안하였다. PCA는 데이터의 차원축소를 통해 고차원의 데이터가 가진 정보를 대부분 유지하면서 고차원 영상 데이터가 가지는 계산상의 복잡성을 해결하며, PCA 기법을 이용하는 얼굴 인식에서는 영상을 고유 얼굴 공간에 투사하여 각 영상의 특징을 추출하여 비교함으로서 얼굴을 인식한다. 그러나 조명, 배경, 카메라의 각도 및 거리와 같은 외적 요인에 따라 인식률의 변화가 매우 심한 것이 현실이며 이에 본 논문에서는 조명의 변화에 따른 인식률의 변화를 줄이기 위한 방법으로 명함 값의 분포를 균일하게 해주는 히스토그램 평활화를 이용하여 영상을 정규화 하였다. 제안한 알고리즘을 다양한 조건의 얼굴 영상에 적용하여 히스토그램 평활화를 거치지 않은 방법과 비교해 보았을 때 인식률이 20%향상 되었으며, 또한 상관 계수를 사용하여 인식률을 조절할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

      • R. 슈트라우스의 멜로드라마 ≪Enoch Arden, Op. 38≫ 분석연구

        낭만 시대에 이르러 음악과 서사의 관계는 이전보다 훨씬 긴밀해졌다. 특히 신독일 악파로 불리는 바그너와 리스트, 베를리오즈 등의 작곡가들에 의해 문학과 관련된 새로운 작품이 많이 작곡되었다. R. 슈트라우스는 교향시를 통해 성공한 신독일 악파의 뒤를 잇는 작곡가이다. 본 논문은 낭만 시대에서 빼놓을 수 없는 서사와 음악의 관계를 R. 슈트라우스의 ≪에녹 아덴≫을 통해 풀어 보고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 ≪에녹 아덴≫이 속한 장르이자 당시 유행했던 멜로드라마 역사와 발전 과정을 연구하고 슈트라우스의 생애와 작품에 대해 먼저 알아본 후, 곡에 나타나는 음악과 서사의 관계에 대해 알아본다. 음악이 나레이션에게 어떤 도움이나 효과를 주는지, 음악만이 가지고 있는 효과는 무엇인지 등을 구체적으로 풀어낸다. ≪에녹 아덴≫은 교향시와 리트, 오페라에서 큰 성공을 거둔 R. 슈트라우스의 서사를 음악으로 풀어내는 능력이 멜로드라마라는 장르를 통해 작곡된 곡이다. 멜로드라마라는 특성에 맞게 다른 예술 분야의 전문가와 협업하여 무대를 꾸민다면 현대적으로 다시 재생될 수 있는 무대가 될 것이다. 또한 이 연구를 통해 ≪에녹 아덴≫과 같은 멜로드라마뿐만 아니라 서사와 연결된 작품들에 대한 해석과 분석이 더 다채로워지고 객관성을 갖게 될 것이다. By the Romantic Period, the association between Music and Literature became more intimate than ever. The so-called “New German School(Die Neudeuschen)” composers, such as Wagner, Liszt, and Berlioz, attempted to create a new kind of musical work closely associated with other genres of the arts—especially literature. Known to be their most recognized successor, R. Strauss also composed great ‘toned poems’ with extramusical narratives. Using a study of Strauss’s ≪Enoch Arden≫, I plan to evaluate the relationship between music and narrative, a quintessential element of Melodrama in the Romantic Period of Music. This study intends to shed light on the history of Melodrama, a genre that prevailed in the 19th century. After conducting research on the life and musical works of R. Strauss, I will examine the relationship between music and narrative that appeared in his music, specifically in ≪Enoch Arden≫. I then reflect on how music enriches the narration and how much weight music has as the dominant agent in the composition. ≪Enoch Arden≫ is R. Strauss’s melodrama, where his unrivaled level of narrative expression with music honed through various genres, such as lied, tone poem, and opera, has truly blossomed. To truly appreciate the essence of melodrama, it might be best to design a collaborative stage to perform the piece with specialists with other artistic principles. Furthermore, through this study, the masterpieces with both melodramatic and narrative identities will be open to more diverse interpretations and nonpartisan analysis.

      • 융합교육(STEAM)을 활용한 고등학교 과학 교수학습지도안 연구 : 생명과학중심으로

        The world has been competed for the education of human resources in the area of Science and Technology. We need men of creative ability with convergent thinking to raise a high level of creativity and humanity required in the era of science and technology. STEAM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) is a kind of fused education intended to increase students' interests and understanding in science and technology based on problem-solving and harmonized thinking. STEAM education aims at educating trained people who have a literary viewpoint as well as scientific knowledge and skills necessary for living in the modern society by combining the contents of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. In this research, STEAM education program based on life science was developed for verifying the effect in science-related affective domain and creativity of high school students. First of all, I measured the students' interest in the science class before and after teaching with STEAM model. Second, I made an analysis of STEAM class on how students understand the lecture. Third, I analyzed the impacts of STEAM class on enhancing their creativity. Fifth, I tried to maximize the availability of the educational materials which were given by the students' opinions after class. Fourth, I researched the availability of the educational materials of STEAM. The following is the advantages of using the educational materials of STEAM: First, STEAM education was effective to enhance study interest of intermediate-low level students. Second, developed STEAM materials helped intermediate-low level students to understand the science. Third, developed STEAM materials was helpful to the development of creativity. However, creativity is difficult to be estimated within a short period of classes. Fourth, students wanted STEAM class to be expanded to other classes but it is impossible to be applied to all the subjects. The developed STEAM program will become an effective alternative plan in school when the goals of science education are to increase students' interest in science and improve their creativity.

      • Enhanced performances in thin film transistor with small molecule organic semiconductor for flexible electronics

        Organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) are expected to be a promising device for organic electronics including, flexible displays such as organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), electronic paper, radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, sensors, solar cells, and smart cards. The device performance of OTFTs based on pentacene organic semiconductor (OSC) is comparable to that of hydrogenated amorphous silicon thin-film transistors (a-Si:H TFTs). Many researchers have been attracted by their compatibility with flexible substrates and the possibility of low-cost fabrication at room-temperature. Moreover, the TFTs that are based on flexible substrates have received considerable interest in the recent years because, flexible electronics have been proposed for a number of emerging applications such as flexible active matrix displays and memories. In order to fully utilize these advantages, developments of an improved active channel and a suitable gate dielectric without sacrificing the flexibility of the TFTs are required. First, we describe our fabrication of pentacene TFTs utilizing a spun methyl siloxane-based spin-on-glass (SOG) dielectric and show that these devices can give a similar electrical performance as achieved by using pentacene TFTs with a silicon dioxide (SiO2) dielectric. To improve the electrical performance of pentacene TFTs with the SOG dielectric, we employed a hybrid dielectric of a SOG/cross-linked poly-4-vinylphenol (PVP) polymer. The PVP film was deposited onto the spun SOG dielectric prior to pentacene evaporation, resulting in an improvement of the saturation field effect mobility (?sat) from 0.01 cm2/Vs to 0.76 cm2/Vs. The good surface morphology and the matching surface energy of the SOG dielectric that was modified with the polymer thin film allow the optimized growth of crystalline pentacene domains whose nuclei are embedded in an amorphous phase. Second, we describe fabrication and characterization of OTFTs with a spun cross-linked PVP dielectric on a polyethersulphone (PES) flexible substrate. To improve the electrical performance of OTFTs, we employed a random single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) network as a carrier transfer underlay without sacrificing the flexibility of the TFTs. The random SWNTs showed that they can act as a semiconducting channel and conduction path to shorten the channel length in our TFTs. The flexible TFTs with a random SWNTs/pentacene bilayer as an active channel exhibited an improved ?sat of 0.5 cm2/Vs compared to that of TFTs without the SWNTs underlay, while creating only a minor reduction of the current on/off ratio. Finally, we report the fabrication of solution-processed 6,13-bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl) (TIPS) pentacene TFTs with a cross-linked PVP dielectric on a PES substrate. The device exhibited useful electrical characteristics, including a ?sat of 0.02 cm2/Vs, a current on/off ratio of 105, a threshold voltage (Vth) of -2 V, and an excellent subthreshold slope (SS) of 0.86 V/dec. These results demonstrate the effect of modifying conventional dielectrics by a polymer thin film for OTFTs and the feasibility of high performance flexible OTFTs with solution-processed OSCs and gate dielectrics will be fabricated by printing technologies such as the ink-jet and roll-to-roll process.

      • 金銀花 藥鍼이 細胞毒性과 LPS 誘發 關節炎의 IL-1β 抑制에 미치는 影響

        In oriental medicine inflammatory joint disease has been recognized as arthralgia syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, pain like white tiger bite, and tongpung(痛風). It was systemic disease of unknown etiology. Although there were various systemic manifestations, the characteristic feature was persistent inflammatory synovitis. The mechanism of the inflammatory activation and amplification has recently been revealed which showed that pathogenic factor was intraarticular synovitis. Inflammatory joint disease was thought to be attributed to production of cytokine and immunoglobulin, incited by monocytes, leukocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, natural killer cells, T & B lymphocytes, etc.. Recent studies indicated that cytokines such as interleukin-1(IL-1), tumor necrosis factor(TNF), interleukin-2(IL-2), interleukin-6(IL-6) have been implicated as important mediators of inflammation and joint destruction in rheumatoid arthritis. Many of in vitro and in vivo studies suggested that cytokines should mediate cell-cell interactions that resulted in the release of tissue-damaging enzymes. Lonicerae Flos aqua-acupuncture's effectiveness was mainly to get reducing heat and dampness, detoxicating and reducing sores. The purpose of this study was first to examine cellular toxicity of Lonicerae Flos and second to test whether the Lonicerae Flos aqua-acupuncture would suppress IL-1β in rabbit arthritis induced LPS. The results were summarized as follows ; 1. In rabbit monocyte, Lonicerae Flos water extracts did not show any celluar toxicity by 200ug/ml. 2. Production of IL-1β in rabbit monocyte induced by LPS injection depended upon LPS concentration. 3. IL-1β and TNF in rabbit synovial fluids were overproducted by LPS stimulation. 4. Leukocyte infiltration in rabbit joint increased when recombinant IL-1β was injected and proteoglycan content induced by intra-articular injection of recombinant IL-1β. 5. Production of IL-1β in rabbit monocyte was inhibited by the injection of Lonicerae Flos water extracts.
