        GPS 신호기만의 특성 및 수신기에 미치는 영향 분석

        The term "spoofing" refers to the transmission of counterfeit signals to provide undetectable falsification of GPS service. A spoofing can be accomplished using information from open literature which defines the signal format and the data structure. Spoofing is intended either to produce erroneous navigation solutions or saturate the processor of the victim receiver. The GPS receiver has no way to get rid of the effect of a spoofing because GPS receivers for civil service do not have an anti-spoofing scheme. This paper analyzes the spoofing characteristics, spoofing methods and environment conditions. And the spoofing effects on GPS receiver are analyzed in detail using the designed software-based spoofer and the Nordnav receiver.

        Purpose: The study explored the influence of the suicide of two famous entertainers on the suicide attempts of the public. Method: The subjects of the descriptive study were 888 suicide attempt patients recruited from October 2007 to September 2009 in an emergency centre located in S-city. The research tools were developed at the Centre for Disease Control. Results: The frequency of suicide attempts during the 6 months and 12 months preceding and following the gas-related suicide of celebrity A were ${\chi}^2$=18.14 and ${\chi}^2$=25.97, respectively, and both were significant(both p<.001). The frequency of suicide attempts of the 6 and 12months before and after the release of report of celebrity B's hanging suicide were ${\chi}^2$=3.85 and ${\chi}^2$=3.47, respectively, and both were significant (both p<.05). Conclusion: These results showed that reports of suicide of celebrities influences suicide attempts of the public. Multiple factors that can influence suicide attempts should be further identified and researched.

        두 자료들의 평균과 분산을 이용한 혼합자료의 분산 계산

        공통분산을 갖는 두 모집단에서 얻은 두 독립표본 자료로부터 공통분산을 추정하거나, 한 모집단에서 얻는 두 자료의 혼합자료로부터 모분산을 추정할때 각 표본분산의 가중평균값인 합동추정량(pooled estimator)을 주로 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 동일한 모집단에서 얻은 혼합자료의 표본분산 식을 각 자료의 평균과 분산만 이용하여 구한 후 합동추정량과 비교한다. There are times when we need more sample to achieve a more accurate estimator. Since these two sets of sample have the information about the same population, it is necessary to treat both as a single combined data. In this paper we present the unpooled sample variance for the combined data when we just know a sample mean and variance for the each data set without the raw data. It is shown that the pooled variance $s^2_p$ is always greater than the exact variance $s^2_t$ when ${\bar{x}}_n\;=\;{\bar{y}}_m$. And the difference of means for two data, ${\bar{x}}_n-{\bar{y}}_m}$, is larger, the difference of $s^2_p$ and $s^2_t$ is larger.

        GPS수신기의 다중경로 오차 제거를 위한 가중 상관기의 성능평가

        GPS 환경에서 다중경로 신호는 의사거리 측정 정확도의 성능을 감소시키므로 GPS에 기반한 응용에서 위치 성능 감소로 나타나며, 이는 특히 고층 건물이 많은 도심환경 및 수면에 의한 반사가 많은 해양에서 문제가 된다. 다중경로 신호는 GPS 수신기 내부 상관기에서 상관 함수의 Early-Late 간 비대칭을 유발하므로, 본 논문에서는 Late 상관 값의 비대칭 정도를 보상하여 다중경로 오차를 제거하기 위한 가중 상관기 구조를 소프트웨어 GPS 수신기를 이용하여 구현하고, 그 성능을 평가하였다. 가중 상관기는 2개의 상관 암으로 이루어진 다중 상관기를 사용하여 상관함수의 비대칭 여부를 판단하고, 비대칭성을 감소시키기 위한 보정치를 생성한다. 이 구조는 다중 상관기에 비하여 연산 처리량 부하는 감소시키는 반면, 비슷한 다중경로 오차 제거 성능을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 다중경로 신호 생성 블록을 포함한 GPS 신호 발생기와 가중 상관기 구조를 포함한 소프트웨어 GPS 수신기를 이용하여 다중경로 오차 제거 성능을 검증하였다. 실험을 통하여 가중 상관기가 일반 상관기와 협대역 상관기보다 더 나은 오차 제거 성능을 보임을 확인하였다. The effect of multipath is especially serious in urban area and sea surface where buildings and water reflect GPS signal. Multipath brings about the performance degradation on many GPS application because the presence of multipath causes the diminution of pseudorange measurement accuracy in turn position accuracy. In this paper, a multipath mitigation named weighted correlation method is implemented on software GPS receiver, in which the asymmetric correlation function is compensated by modifying the late correlation value. Asymmetry compensation is obtained as weighted sum of two correlators which have different early-late chip spaces. This structure is adopted to lessen the computation load lower keeping up performance similar to that. The performance of implemented multipath mitigation technique is evaluated using GPS signal and multipath signal generated by GPS signal generator and software GPS receiver. The test results show that the weighted correlation method gives hefter performance than the standard correlator and the narrow correlator.

      • 시드 클러스터링 방법에 의한 유전자 발현 데이터 분석

        Cluster analysis of microarray data has been often used to find biologically relevant Broups of genes based on their expression levels. Since many functionally related genes tend to be co-expressed, by identifying groups of genes with similar expression profiles, the functionalities of unknown genes can be inferred from those of known genes in the same group. In this Paper we address a novel clustering approach, called seed clustering, and investigate its applicability for microarray data analysis. In the seed clustering method, seed genes are first extracted by computational analysis of their expression profiles and then clusters are generated by taking the seed genes as prototype vectors for target clusters. Since it has strong mathematical foundations, the seed clustering method produces the stable and consistent results in a systematic way. Also, our empirical results indicate that the automatically extracted seed genes are well representative of potential clusters hidden in the data, and that its performance is favorable compared to current approaches. 마이크로어레이 데이터의 클러스터 분석은 생물학적으로 연관성 있는 유전자 그룹을 찾기 위해 종종 사용되는 방법이다. 기능적으로 연관된 유전자들이 대개 유사한 발현 패턴을 나타내는 특징을 이용하여 유사한 발현 프로파일을 가진 유전자 그룹을 찾아냄으로써 알려지지 않은 유전자들의 기능을 같은 그룹에 속한 다른 유전자로부터 유추할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 클러스터 분석을 위해 시드 클러스터링 알고리즘을 새로이 제안하고, 이 방법을 마이크로어레이 데이터 분석에 적용해본다. 시드 클러스터링 방법은 주어진 데이터를 계산적으로 분석하여 시드 패턴을 자동 추출하고, 이러한 시드 패턴을 목적 클러스터의 프로토타입 벡터로서 간주하여 클러스터를 생성하는 방법이다. 이러한 시드 클러스터링 방법은 수학적 원리에 기초하고 있기 때문에, 매우 체계적인 방법으로 안정적이며 일관성 있는 클러스터링 결과를 생성할 수 있다. 또한, 실제 마이크로어레이 데이터 분석에 적용해본 결과 데이터에 내재된 각 클러스터를 대표하는 시드 패턴을 매우 효과적으로 자동 추출할 수 있었으며, 클러스터링 결과 또한 타 방법에 비해 다소 우월한 경향을 나타내었다.

        인문교양 역사서 번역전략 고찰 및 제안 : 『사피엔스』의 곁텍스트를 중심으로

        This study aims to examine some translation strategies shown in paratexts in the Korean translated text of Sapiens, a well known popular historical book, written by Yuval Noah Harari. A paratext is a material that surrounds a published main text, and is supplied by the authors, editors, publishers, and printers. It is things such as the title, the author s name, introduction or preface, or illustrations. This study addresses a question of what strategies can be employed to translate ST(Source Text) into TT(Translated Text) successfully. It also suggests a modified and upgraded version of some TT to promote the fidelity and readability of TT. The main results of this study are discussed concerning translation from ST to TT in terms of tense, grammatical voice, parallel structure, punctuation, and words or expressions. This study will help translators and future translators to improve the quality of their translation in terms of achieving the fidelity and readability of their translation.

        증절간 호박고구마의 냉풍건조조건 최적화

        Cold-air drying was conducted for a steamed pumpkin-sweet potato slab to improve its quality, convenience, and preference as a snack. A steamed pumpkin-sweet potato slab was dried from 10 to 25℃ for 48 h, and its moisture content, color, texture, and taste at different drying temperatures and drying times were evaluated. The lowest moisture content was 4.98%, at 25℃. The lightness decreased, but the other color values (a, b, and △E) increased with the increasing drying temperature and drying time. The reducing sugar and soluble solid ranged from 98.7 to 194.75 mg/g and 19-70°Brix, respectively. The highest hardness of the steamed pumpkin-sweet potato slab was 23.88 kg/cm², and the springiness and cohesiveness were 91.15 and 98.36% when it was dried at 25℃ for 48 h. The sensory evaluation score was high at 10℃, 40 h and at 25℃, 24 h. The optimum drying condition was predicted at 19℃, 32 h via response surface methodology (RSM).

        ‘좁은 깃’적삼(赤衫)에 관한 연구

        This study is about Narrow Collar’s Jeoksam appeared in excavated clothing of Joseon Dynasty. Total 12 ‘Narrow Collar’s Jeoksam’ were confirmed including 8 cases in Gyeonggi Province and Chungcheong Province in Korea. The purpose of this research is to examine form, material, and sewing method of Narrow Collar’s Jeoksam through Narrow Collar’s Jeoksam relics excavated intensively in the late 15<SUP>th</SUP> Century and the 16<SUP>th</SUP> Century, and search for periodic characteristics based on this. As a result of this research, the greatest difference between general Jeoksam and Narrow Collar’s Jeoksam was at first that the collar width as in 2-4㎝ is clearly distinguished by the collar width of general Jeoksam. Also, ‘hanging Square-Tray-Collar in inside’ and ‘hanging Square-Tray-Collar in outside’ which was appeared in general Jeoksam was not only indicated but also narrow ancient ‘symmetric collar’ was appeared. Secondly, two forms of seop were appeared, and while it was appeared as general jacket form in ‘hanging Square-Tray-Collar in inside’ Jeoksam, it was appeared as corrugated trapezoidal seop in the symmetric collar. Thirdly, the fabric used in Narrow Collar’s Jeoksam was similar to the fabric used in general Jeoksam, and the difference was that the material use of hemp cloth is rare and relatively the use of silk fabrics was much.

        한국에서 국제적 연구자로 성장하기

        In the 1960-70s, South Korea was still in the position of a science latecomer. Although the scientific research environment in South Korea at that time was insufficient, there was a scientist who achieved outcomes that could be recognized internationally while acting in South Korea. He was Ho Wang Lee(1928~ ) who found Hantann Virus that causes epidemic hemorrhagic fever for the first time in the world. It became a clue to identify causative viruses of hemorrhagic diseases that were scattered here and there throughout the world. In addition, these outcomes put Ho Wang Lee on the global center of research into epidemic hemorrhagic fever. This paper examines how a Korean scientist who was in the periphery of virology could go into the central area of virology. Also this article shows the process through which the virus found by Ho Wang Lee was registered with the international academia and he proceeded with follow-up research based on this progress to reach the level at which he generalized epidemic hemorrhagic fever related studies throughout the world. While he was conducting the studies, experimental methods that he had never experienced encountered him as new difficulties. He tried to solve the new difficulties faced in his changed status through devices of cooperation and connection. Ho Wang Lee’s growth as a researcher can be seen as well as a view of a researcher that grew from a regional level to an international level and could advance from the area of non-mainstream into the mainstream. This analytic tool is meaningful in that it can be another method of examining the growth process of scientists in South Korea or developing countries.
