CPC 태양열 집열기와 결합된 유기랭킨사이클에 관한 실험적 연구

Organic Rankine cycle is able to use variable heat source such as a solar energy, geothermal energy, biomass energy and engine exhaust gas heat. In this study, organic Rankine cycle combined with compound parabolic concentrator (CPC) solar collector has been set up and experimentally tested in the field. Generally, organic Rankine cycle consists of five components such as a working fluid, a expander, a evaporator, a condenser and a pump. The refrigerant R134a has been used as a working fluid to achieve high thermal efficiency in low temperature and displacement type scroll expander has been used to attract power from thermal energy of CPC. The area of CPC is about 35 ㎡. On fine day, CPC has absorbed about 40 ㎾ of heat from solar energy and a power output, a inlet pressure and a inlet temperature of the scroll expander have been measured in interval of 1 second using the data aquisition device. The maximum power of the scroll expander was approximately 740 W under the scroll expander inlet temperature of 120℃. We have observed that the thermal efficiency of organic Rankine cycle is about 5.6% and maximal total thermal efficiency is about 2.2%.
