        침전제적하법에 의한 나노 TiO<sub>2</sub>코팅 석탄회 복합체 제조

        광촉매용 TiO$_2$코팅 석탄회 복합체를 침전제적하법을 이용하여 합성한 후, $700^{\circ}C$에서 2시간 열처리하여 제조하였다. 석탄회 표면의 TiO$_2$ 입자 석출상태와 결정상은 반응용액의 pH, 침전제인NH$_4$HCO$_3$의 주입속도, 교반속도, 반응온도 및 TiC1$_4$ 의 첨가량에 영향을 받았다. NH$_4$HCO$_3$의 주입속도=1.0ml/min, 반응용액의 pH=6, 교반속도=1,000rpm 및 반응온도=8$0^{\circ}C$인 석탄회의 표면에는 약 10m의 TiO$_2$ 입자가 균일하게 석출되었으나,NH$_4$HCO$_3$의 주입속도=0.3 및 0.5ml/min, 반응용액의 pH=2 및 11 ,교반속도=300~500rpm 및 반응온도=5$0^{\circ}C$ 이하인 석탄회의 표면에는 불균일한 TiO$_2$ 입자의 석출이 관찰되었다. NH$_4$HCO$_3$의 주입속도와 반응온도가 증가하고 TiC1$_4$의 농도가 감소함에 따라 석탄회 표면에 석출된 anatase상의 결정성은 열처리온도에 따라 증가하였으나,800"C에서 rutile로 전이하였다 반응온도와 NH$_4$HCO$_3$의 주입속도 및 Tic14의 농도가 증가함에 따라 rutile상이 생성되었다. $700^{\circ}C$에서 2시간 열처리하여 약 21m의 anatase상 TiO$_2$ 입자가 코팅된 석탄회 복합체는 1.25g/㎤의 밀도, 82.8%의 강도 및 69.5Lab의 백색도를 나타내었으며, 광촉매로 응용이 가능하였다.능하였다. TiO$_2$ particles coated on fly ash composites for use in photocatalyst were synthesized by the precipitation dropping method and heated at $700^{\circ}C$ for 2 h. The pH of reaction solution, the addition rate of NH$_4$HCO$_3$, the stirring speed, the reaction temperature and the concentration of TiC1$_4$ had a pronounced effect on the nature of precipitated TiO$_2$ particles on the surface off fly ash and the crystal structure of precipitated TiO$_2$ particles. At an addition rate of NH$_4$HCO$_3$; 1.0 ml/min, the pH of the reaction solution; 6, the stirring speed; 1,000 rpm and the reaction temperature; 8$0^{\circ}C$, about 10 nm of TiO$_2$ particle size and homogeneous precipitated layer on the surface of a fly ash was achieved. On the contrary, at an addition rate of NH$_4$HCO$_3$; 0.3,0.5 ml/min, the pH of the reaction solution; 2 and 11, the stirring speed; 300~500 rpm and the reaction temperature; lower than 5$0^{\circ}C$:, Inhomogeneous precipitated layer was developed on a fly ash. TiO$_2$ particles with anatase phase was formed as-dried precipitation at the low concentration of Tic14, the high addition rate of NH$_4$HCO$_3$ and the high reaction temperature, the crystalline fraction of anatase increased with raising heat-treatment temperature and rutile phase began to formation at 80$0^{\circ}C$. The crystal size of TiO$_2$ particles increased with raising the heat-treatment temperature, the crystal size was showed about 21 m at $700^{\circ}C$. Anatase type of TiO$_2$ coated on the fly ash heated at $700^{\circ}C$ for 2 h showed 1.25 g/cm$^3$of particle density, 82.8% of strength and 69.5 Lab of whiteness and can be used as a photocatalyst.

        하수슬러지 슬래그를 이용한 다공성 세라믹스 흡음재료 제조

        다공질 세라믹스 흡음재료의 흡음특성과 물리.기계적 특성에 미치는 하수슬러지 슬래그 첨가량과 입경 효과에 대하여 조사하였다. 시편의 물리.기계적 특성은 슬래그 입경과 관계 없이 소성온도가 증가하고 슬래그 함량이 감소함에 따라 증가하였으며, 슬래그의 함량이 일정한 시편은 물유리 첨가량이 증가하고 슬래그 입경이 감소함에 따라 증가하였다. 1~3mm 크기의 슬래그를 약 77~89 wt% 함유하고 1,05$0^{\circ}C$에서 2시간 소성한 시편의 부피비중은 1.48~1.71, 압축강도 85~163 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$을 나타내었으며, 1~3mm의 슬래그를 이용한 시편은 저주파영역, 슬래그 입경이 1 mm이하인 시편은 고주파영역의 흡음특성이 향상되었으며, 시편의 두께가 증가함에 따라 저주파영역의 흡음특성이 향상되었다. The effects of content and particle size of sewage sludge slag on the sound absorption was investigated and the physical$.$mechanical properties of porous ceramics for sound absorbent material was studied. The physical$.$mechanical properties of specimens have depended on sintering temperature and slag content without particle size effect of slag. As water glass content increase and particle size of slag decrease at the same slag content, physical$.$mechanical properties of them have been improved. The bulk density and compressive strength of specimens with the batch composition of 77∼89 wt% of slag content and particles with 1∼3 mm, and sintered at 1,050$^{\circ}C$ for 2 h were 1.48∼1.71 and 86∼163 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, respectively. The specimens with 1∼3 mm and <1 mm of particles size showed good sound absorption property at low frequency and high frequency region. With increasing thickness of specimens, sound absorption properties at low frequency region were increased.

        졸-겔법으로 제조한 $ZrO_2.SiO_2$다공질유리의 세공제어

        Porous glass in the ZrO2.SiO2 system containning up to 30mol% zirconia were prepared by the sol-gel method from metal alkoxides and their pore characteristics with reaction parameters were investigated. The gels were made by hydrolyzing and condensation of the mixed metla alkoxides and were converted into the porous glass by heating up to $700^{\circ}C$. As a results, the mean pore radius became larger with increasing contents of HCl, H2O and hydrolysis temperature, and an alcohol with a large molecular weight for making the porous glass. In the case of 20ZrO2.80SiO2 porous glass with heated at $700^{\circ}C$, HCl and H2O content was 0.3mol and 4mol, the specific surface area was 284$m^2$/g, average mean pore radius was about 19.4$\AA$, porosity was 22.55% and pore characteristics depended on heating temperature.

        Si(OC_2H_5)_4와 Zr(O-nC_3H_7)_4$ 혼합용액의 중합반응에 따른 고분자의 형상

        The hydrolysis and condensation reactions in the mixed alkoxide solutions of Si(OC2H5)4 and Zr(O-nC3H7)4 with various water contents (1, 2, 4, and 8 in molar ratio to alkoxide, r) and catalysts were examined by rheological measurements and the number average molecular weight in order to explain the shape of the polymer in the mixed alkoxide solutions. It was found that fibers could be drawn in the viscosity range of 1∼100P from the acid-catalyzed solutions with lower water contents of the mole ratio H2O/alkoxide, r 2. On the other hand, crack free bulk gel was formed from the acid-catalyzed solutions including a large amount of water (r 4), and the base-catalyzed solutions. The relation between the intrinsic viscosity [{{{{ eta }}] and the number average molecular weight n, namely [{{{{ eta }}]=Knα, has shown that the acid-catalyzed spinnable solutions (r=1 and 2) have linear polymers and the exponent α's are about 0.56 and 0.81, whereas non-spinnable solutions (r=4 and 8) have three dimensional network polymers or spherical particles and the exponent α's are 0.41∼0.51 and 0.35.

        졸-겔법에 의한 내알칼리성 다공질 ZrO$_2$-SiO$_2$계 유리 제조

        Porous glass in the ZrO2-SiO2 system containing up to 30 mol% zirconia were prepared from the mixed solutions of Zr(O.nC3H7)4 and partially prehydrolyzed TEOS by the sol-gel method. Pore characteristics, physical properties and alkali resistance were investigated. The gels converted into the porous glass by heating at $700^{\circ}C$, it was found that the glass like skeleton was already made up in lower temperature regions. The specific surface area of the porous glass was 227 $m^2$/g, average mean pore size was about 19$\AA$ and porosity was 19.2%, pore characteristics and physical properties depended on heating temperature. Alkali resistance of the porous glass increased as the zirconia content increased, because of the appearance of Zr-enriched layer at glass surface.

        석탄회를 이용한 미생물 고정화 세라믹 담체 제조

        석탄회와 벤토나이트 및 이스트 분말의 성형체를 800∼1,000$^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 소성하여 수질정화용 미생물 고정화 세라믹 담체를 제조하여 기공${\cdot}$기계적 특성을 조사하였다. 석탄회와 벤토나이트(FB)시편은 벤토나이트의 첨가량과 소성온도가 증가함에 따라 기공특성은 감소하였으나 압축강도는 증가하였다. 800∼1,000$^{\circ}C$에서 소성한 FB시편은 압축강도 89.6∼128.9 kgf/$cm^2$, 부피비중 1.25∼1.43, 겉보기비중 1.61∼1.78, 기공률 27.2∼62.2%, 평균기공경 7.9∼25.6${\mu}m$, 기공용적 8.9∼$22.2{\times}10^{-5}\;cm^3/g$ 및 비표면적 35.2∼134.3 $m^2/g$을 나타내었다. 이스트 분말을 첨가한 FBY시편은 FB시편에 비하여 기공특성이 향상되었으나 압축강도는 감소하였다. 9F1B시편에 10wt%의 이스트 분말을 첨가하여 900$^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 소성한 9F1B1Y시편은 압축강도 98.7 kgf/$cm^2$, 부피비중 1.20, 겉보기비중 1.67, 기공률 68.1%, 평균기공경 48.9 ${\mu}m$, 기공용적 $29.5{\times}10^{-5}\;cm^3/g$ 및 152.2 $m^2/g$의 비표면적을 나타내었으며, 담체의 기공에 S. saprophyticus의 부착특성이 양호하여 수질정화용 미생물 고정화 담체로 이용이 가능하였다. Porous ceramic supports with immobilized microorganisms for the water purifier were synthesized by firing green compacts of mixed powder comprising of fly ash, bentonite and an additive of yeast powder at 800∼1,000$^{\circ}C$ for 1h and the pore and mechanical properties of specimens were investigated. The compressive strength was increased in FB (Fly Ash + Bentonite) specimens while pore properties was decreased with increasing the bentonite content and sintering temperature. The compressive strength, bulk density, apparent density, porosity, mean pore size, pore volume and specific surface area of FB specimens at 800∼1,000$^{\circ}C$ were 89.6∼128.9 kgf/$cm^2$, 1.25∼1.43, 1.61∼1.78, 27.2∼62.2%, 7.9∼25.6 ${\mu}m$, 8.9∼$22.2{\times}10^{-5}\;cm^3/g$ and 35.2∼134.3 $m^2/g$, respectively. The pore properties of FBY (FB+yeast powder) specimens were superior to that of FB specimens, however compressive strength was decreased with increasing yeast powder content. The overall properties of 9F1B1Y (9F1B+10% of yeast powder) specimens at 900$^{\circ}C$ for 1 h were 98.7 kgf/$cm^2$, 1.20, 1.67, 68.1%, 48.9 ${\mu}m$, $29.5{\times}10^{-5}\;cm^3/g$ and 152.2 $m^2/g$, respectively. In this study, it was revealed that 9F1B1Y specimen demonstrated better S. saprophyticus adherence properties n their surface pores. Consequently, the microorganisms immobilized on porous ceramic supports showed better water purifying performance with many pores and adequate strength.

        침전제 적하법을 이용한 $TiO_2$고정화 다공체 제조

        침전제적하법을 이용하여 점토 다공체에 TiO$_2$의 고정화를 행하였다. 1,15$0^{\circ}C$에서 10분간 급속가열하여 점토 다공체에는 수 mm~$\mu$M의 기공이 존재하였다. 침전제인 NH$_4$HCO$_3$의 주입속도에 의한 반응용액의 pH 변화, 반응온도 및 TiCl$_4$의 농도는 다공체 표면의 TiO$_2$입자 석출상태와 석출된 TiO$_2$입자의 결정구조에 영향을 미쳐 NH$_4$HCO$_3$의 주입속도가 0.8ml/min 및 pH가 6인 다공체 표면에는 TiO$_2$입자들이 균일하게 석출되었다. NH$_4$HCO$_3$의 주입속도와 반응온도가 증가하고 TiCl$_4$의 농도가 감소함에 따라 다공체 표면에는 anatase상 TiO$_2$입자가 석출되었다. TiO$_2$anchored on a porous clay ceramic support (PCS) for use in lightweight photocatalyst were synthesized by the dropping precipitant method. A PCS of macro and micro pore size of around several mm~${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in diameter were prepared by the rapid heat treatment at, 1,15$0^{\circ}C$ for 10 min from low grade of clay. The change in pH of reaction solution due to the different addition rate of NH$_4$HCO$_3$as a precipitant, the reaction temperature and the concentration of TiCl$_4$had a pronounced effect on the nature of precipitated TiO$_2$particles on the surface of a PCS and the crystal structure of precipitated TiO$_2$particles. At an addition rate of 0.8 ml/min of NH$_4$HCO$_3$and pH=6 of reaction solution, homogeneous precipitation of TiO$_2$particles on a PCS was achieved. TiO$_2$particles with anatase phase was precipitated on the surface of a PCS at the low concentration of TiCl$_4$, the high addition rate of NH$_4$HCO$_3$and the high reaction temperature.

        졸-겔법으로 제조한 $ZrO_2.SiO_2$계 결정화유리의 결정화 및 파괴인성에 관한 연구

        Precursor gels with the composition of xZrO2·(100-x)SiO2 systems (x=10, 20 and 30 mol%) were prepared by the sol-gel method. Kinetic parameters, such as activation energy, Avrami's exponent, n, and dimensionality crystal growth value, m, have been simultaneously calculated from the DTA data using Kissinger and Matusita equations. The crystallite size dependence of tetragonal to monoclinic transformation of ZrO2 was investigated using XRD, in relation to the fracture toughness. The crystallization of tetragonal ZrO2 occurred through 3-dimensional diffusiion controlled growth(n=m=2) and the activation energy for crystallization was calculated using Kissinger and Matusita equations, as about 310∼325±10kJ/mol. The growth of t-ZrO2, in proportion to the cube of radius, increased with increasing heating temperature and hteat-treatment time. It was suggested that the diffusion of Zr4+ ions by Ostwald ripening was rate-limiting process for thegrowth of t-ZrO2 crystallite size. The fracture toughness of xZrO2·(100-x)SiO2 systems glass ceramics increased with increasing crystallite size of t-ZrO2. The fracture toughness of 30ZrO2·70SiO2 system glass ceramics heated at 1,100℃ for 5h was 4.84 MPam1/2 at a critical crystaliite size of 40 nm.

        졸-겔법에 의한 $ZrO_2$-$SiO_2$계 유리 제조

        Glass in the ZrO2-SiO2 system containing up to 30mol% ZrO2 were prepared by heating the gel made from the mixed solutions of Zr(OC3H7)4 and partial hydrolysed Si(OC2H5)4. As a result, the monolith gel was made from the HCl and water content as 2.7$\times$10-3 and 8 molar ratio to alkoxide and drying temoperature as 4$0^{\circ}C$. Heating rate of dry gel maintained under 0.5$^{\circ}C$/min and heating at a temperature as 90$0^{\circ}C$ was found to be for making the transparent glass.
