        고구려 남부전선 내 ‘호로고루’의 위상과 의의

        임진강 유역은 남부전선의 최후방이자 고구려 멸망기까지 고구려의 內地로 남은 곳이다. 이에 남부전선 내 다른 지역과차이가 크며, 오히려 서부전선과 유사한 양상이 확인된다. 이는 해당 지역에 대한 지방통치를 비롯해 인적·물적 자원 확보, 병력 운용과 영토 방어 등에 있어서 유리하게 작용하였기에 고구려는 임진강유역을 안정적으로 점유하고자 노력하였다. 현재 임진강 유역에는 하천을 따라 20개소에 달하는 관방 유적이분포하는데, 이를 통해 고구려와 신라 사이에 성곽과 보루가 유기적으로 연계하여 현대 국경과 유사한 ‘線’ 형태의 국경이 형성되었음을 알 수 있다. 이중 호로고루는 지안 국내성 및 평양 대성산성과 축조기법·구조 면에서 유사한 점이 많고, 기와가 가장 많이 출토된 곳으로서 이를 통해 군사·정치적으로 해당 지역의 重鎭으로 기능했다고 추정할 수 있다. 특히 지형상 渡河에 제한적인 임진강에있어 하류 쪽으로부터 최초의 여울목이라고 할 수 있는 호로탄을監制할 수 있기에 호로고루의 지정학적 위상은 임진강 유역에서 단연 독보적이라고 할 수 있다. 안정적으로 확보된 교통로를 통해 남하한 고구려군은 이내 한반도 중부 이남 각지에서 활발한 군사 작전을 벌이게 되었는데, 그시발점이 바로 호로탄 일대를 감제하는 호로고루라고 해도 과언이아닐 것이다. 고구려 멸망기까지 호로고루의 위상은 단순히 임진강유역의 성 1개소에 국한되었다기보다는 고구려 남쪽 국경의 關門, 고구려의 주요 교통로로서 고구려군의 威力이 강하게 작용하는 공간으로 인식되었을 것이다. The Imjingang River basin is the end point of the southern front line and remained the home of Goguryeo until the collapse of Goguryeo. As a result, there is a large difference from other areas within the southern front, but a rather similar pattern to the western front has been confirmed. The basin provided advantages in terms of establishing local government, securing human and material resources, troop management, and territorial defense, so Goguryeo tried to occupy the Imjin River basin in a stable manner. Currently, 20 Gwanbang sites are distributed along the river in the Imjingang River basin, which shows that fortresses and bastions were organically linked between Goguryeo and Silla to form a "line" shaped border similar to the modern border. Among them, Horogoru has many similarities in terms of Jian's domesticity, Pyongyang's Daeseongsanseong Fortress, and construction techniques and structure, and it can be assumed that it has functioned as a military and political army camp in the region. In particular, Horogoru's geopolitical status is unrivaled in the Imjin River basin, as it is possible to keep watch Horogoru, the first Yeowolmok from the downstream side, in the Imjin River, which is limited to across the river due to its topography. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Goguryeo troops, which moved south through stable transportation routes, soon carried out active military operations in the south of the central part of the Korean Peninsula, and that the starting point was Horogoru to reduce the area of Horotan. Until the collapse of Goguryeo, Horogoru's status would have been recognized as a space where the power of Goguryeo troops operated effectively as Gateway on the southern border of Goguryeo, rather than simply being limited to one castle in the Imjin River basin.

        Nerve-root anomalies are very uncommon, and there symptoms and signs are nearly similar with those of disc herniation. So we can misdiagnois them for intervertebral disc herniation. The negative Lasegue' sign is the only distinct feature of the nerve root anomalies. The authors report a case of Nerve-Root Anomaly associated with disc herniation in lumbar 4-5 interspace, which was diagnosed preoperatively in myelogram and confirmed surgically.

        기독교박물관의 현황과 전망 : 개신교박물관을 중심으로

        The purpose of this essay is to survey the present situation of christian museums and to suggest future direction on the basis of the former result. Firstly, I arranged the present situation of protestant museums as a basic work to secure the importance of religious museums. And I will continue researches about catholic, buddhist, folk museums etc. A christian museum is important in that it is a storehouse of precious data accumulated in the history of modern Korea. However, interest in its value has not been given sufficiently so far despite its importance. Most christian museums are petty in their scale and management. When we consider the historical weight of christian history in the modern Korea, the status of christian museums have to be improved from now on. I classified the types of christian museums in Korea into christian history museum, christian art museum, biblical archeology museum, local churches’ history museum, christian figures museum(memorials of famous christians), and mission school(colleges) museums on the basis of contents they possess. It can be said that the representative types among these are christian history museum and biblical archeology museum.

      • 전통사회 한국인의 삶의 질과 종교문화

        This essay attempts to analyze how the religious culture has affected Koreans' quality of life by surveying the religious-cultural history in the traditional society of Korea. This is a part of the cooperative research project planned under the theme of "the religious culture and the quality of Korean life". In the aspect of an encounter between native religion and foreign one, the religious-cultural history of Korea has experienced two big cultural shocks; the one is the acceptance of Eastern traditional religions, the other is the influx of the Western religions. We can find that the point Korean native religions emphasizes is the motive to pray for mundane blessing. The acceptance of the Eastern traditional religions(Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism) offered Koreans the important impetus for them to overcome its limit. The classical world view of the Eastern traditional religions also gave Korean society the ideals and the institutions in the process of entering into the structure of an ancient nation. In relation to accepting the Eastern traditional religions in the period of Three Kingdoms, it is worthy to note the triangular world view of the three religions(Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism) The world view of the Eastern traditional religions made a contribution more concretely in the development of Korean society from Three Kingdom-Period to Chosoˇn Dynasty. It is true that the Buddhism of Koryoˇ Dynasty and the Confucianism of Chosoˇn Dynasty fulfilled their functions as main religion, but Korea's native world view and other religious traditions were not totally excluded. In Koryoˇ Period, Buddhism and Confucianism coexisted in the background of native religious world view. It is after the middle term of Chosoˇn Dynasty that Confucian ideology spreaded over Korean society. The social change in the latter term of Chosoˇn urged a reconsideration on the mission of an age of Confucianism. In this context, we can observe the rise of Silhak(a pragmatic school of Confucianism to seek after social and cultural reformation) and the attention to Seohak(Catholicism introduced into Korea in the latter term of Chosoˇn). The interest in Catholicism having started as a form of new scholarly movement came to transform as a new religious movement. The absolute monotheism of Christianity caused a collision between Catholicism and Korean traditional society and changed the classical world view as a basis of religious-cultural history of Korea which pursued harmony among different religious traditions. Despite of this limit, the acceptance of Catholicism played a role to disseminate the ideal of equality and freedom in Korean society and therefore we can say that the Korean Catholicism played an important role in progressing the quality of Korean life.
