2009 개정 한문과 교육과정 중 언어생활과 한자 문화 에 대하여

송혁기 ( Hyok Key Song ) 한국한문교육학회 2012 한문교육논집 Vol.38 No.-

``Speech function and the culture of classical Chinese character`` is a new mid-size category of educational curriculum revision in 2009. In this paper, I explain interrelation of ``educating the culture of classical Chinese character`` and ``educating speech function`` by giving specific examples. I think the educational curriculum revision in 2009 focused on securing a clear view of our speech function, based on our traditional culture and cultural area. In practice, sometimes we can understand the meaning of a word without capturing context. I divide these cases into three and try to analyze like below. First, vocabulary which came from the classics. I give some separate examples. Though these are not classed as ``idiom originated in an ancient event(故事成語)``, we can understand easily if we catch the reference. Second, vocabulary which came from linguistic custom. It includes allegory, inference, synecdoche and so on. In this case, the important thing is learning linguistic custom. Third, vocabulary which came from the cultural backgrounds. I also give some separate examples. I examine the possibility of teaching and learning method using these words. I realize that ``speech function`` and ``the culture of classical Chinese character`` are in complementary relations.

        용주(龍洲) 조경(趙絅)의 문학론

송혁기 ( Hyok Key Song ) 우리어문학회 2015 우리어문연구 Vol.51 No.-

This review study is focused on the reinterpretation of Jo, Kyoung(趙絅, 1586-1669)``s philosophies and methodologies in his literature study in a broader way, by taking the recently reported Yong-ju-yu-go( 龍洲遺稿), Yong-ju-chuck- tock( 龍洲尺牘), Mun-gan-gong-gan-tock( 文簡公簡牘), Yong-ju-il-ki( 龍洲日 記), Young-ju-cho-sun-seang-nyun-bo( 龍洲趙先生年譜), and Un-hang-chong- rock( 言行總錄).Jo, Kyoung advocated that writers should be trained with heavy reading and review of the masterpieces of the gurus in the Hna Dynasty era to develop writing skills. In addition, he made his efforts to learn the original forms of the public documents used at the age. Jo, Kyoung``s favorite was Chuang-tzu( 莊 子) and he cited Chuang-tzu in many of his notes. Recently, it is generally accepted that Jo, Kyoung``s philosophy and writing were largely influenced by Chuang-tzu. In a number of previous works, it was mentioned that Jo, Kyoung was recommended to learn Records of the historian( 史記) by Youn, Kun-su. In this study, we demonstrate that it was not just a single event of studying Records of the historian, but Jo, Kyoung continued to investigate Records of the historian for his entire life. Jo, Kyoung highly estimated the value of Wang, Shi-zhen(王世貞)``s philosophy and articles, which was an extraordinary point of view to him at the age because Wang, Shi-zhen was criticized to copy phrases from other``s articles to his publications and prefer Ko-hak(古學) than Jung-Ju-Hak(程朱學). Jo, Kyoung, however, strongly agreed to Wang, Shi-zhen``s theories of literature study, loved to read his literatures, and recommended them to others. The impact of Jo, Kyoung``s recognition and admiring to Wang, Shi-zhen was intensive enough to turn over the methodology of literature studies at the time: review and realizations of Ko-ki(古氣). The methodology Jo, Kyoung took for the investigation in Wang, Shi-zhen``s publications was to read Ko-mun(古文) exhaustively until the readers can feel the thinkings and hearts of the author deeply. Jo, Kyoung worked this way in his entire life. It is quite surprising that Jo, Kyoung left no independent critic notes in his life because he did many of criticisms in wide range of Chinese literature. From Jo, Kyoung``s criticisms, we can deduce not only what he took importantly in literatures but also how he tried to establish the methodology of ``learning and creating`` literatures, in detail. In this work, we review Jo, Kyoung``s methodology and aims for studying paragon literatures and his realistic literature criticism.

사건(事件)의 기록(記錄)과 한문학(漢文學) 조선시대 문학비평에 나타난 記事의 사실성과 문학성

        송혁기 ( Hyok Key Song ) 동방한문학회 2009 東方漢文學 Vol.0 No.39

In this paper, I focused on the meaning of transcripts and testimonies of events relating to the tradition of cultural area of Chinese writings. I also dealt with common aims in the field of literary criticism during the later Chosun dynasty. For this purpose, I tried to figure out the character of truth in a descriptive style, the process of embodiment, and the literary merit. Descriptive style is originally composed with the object of preservation and revision. Therefore the character of truth is the fundamental requisite and aim. Authors need to be well-informed and to be equitable to make it more truthful. We also can see authors` view from the materials and expressions which they used in their article. Sometimes readers can be impressed by splendid articles. In this case, it`s not just a description of a matter but a vivid literature. I enumerated various comments about this subject from Chosun dynasty and examined them in the concrete.

고전으로 정의 말하기 -한문 고전 활용 신문 칼럼을 대상으로-

        송혁기 ( Song Hyok-key ) 한국한문학회 2018 韓國漢文學硏究 Vol.0 No.72

This thesis analyzes newspaper columns that quote Classics in Classical- Chinese when dealing with the theme of justice (正義), to overview the discourse regarding the Classics and search for the possibilities of adapting the Classics in the contemporary world. By selecting 180 articles about justice among those 1,275 columns mentioning East Asian Classics in the daily papers with top 5 circulation, I could categorize subjects of the columns in 4 groups. First, ‘shame’ as the ethical basis and the minimal standard of life of Confucianism. Second, a righteous attitude with strong beliefs and morals that is unwavering with private interests. Third, a sense of fairness in various fields including selection of fit persons, equality in law, consideration of the weak, and usage of language. Fourth, resistance and judgment against injustice political power. In today’s world, a criterion of what is right becomes more and more ambiguous, and justice is regarded as the object of negotiation among interests groups rather than universal virtue. Even though the sum of information is rapidly increasing, the tendency of confirmation bias of persons is intensifying. We can use the Classics written in classical Chinese as wide source of non-factional argument and its basis. I suggest five ways to adapting the Classics for the better usage for today’s writers. First, we should admit the relativity of the old writings and maintain critical distance. Second, it would be better to quote the old wisdom in the purpose of adding new approach to solve today’s problem, not to repeat common sense. Third, be careful in directly connecting the Classics and current events, because sometimes the gap between now and then casts new visions. Fourth, quote not only well-known Classics but also relatively unfamiliar old writings. Fifth, maintain the accuracy of the reference but try to explain it simply to help today’s readers understand it easily.
