        부채의 형태와 표현적 상징성에 관한 연구

        This study is designed to analyze the shape of fans, forms of fan dances and what they stand for by observing the development of fans used in Korean dance. Thanks to the tireless research by the dance community, fans have continued to be used in traditional Korean danca through they vary in style. Even the fans used in our daily lives are also found. The role of fans in Korean dance goes beyond a mere stage-property. That is largely because they present artistic expression to the dancing. In its expreession method, the traditional Korean fan dance, known as pucheachum, showcases 1) the beauty of nature and landscape 2) the look in people`s face 3) people`s abstract emotions. Hallyangmu, the dance of depraved young noblemen, demonstrates 1) artistic expressions by the use of dynamic and static moves in sequence 2) the unique elegance and dignity of a refined seonbi, the Korean term used for a man who attained a respectable level of learning but did not hold an official government position 3) the beauty of contrast and harmony through versatile steps, which go through different rhythms. As such, fans in Korean dance have come a long way and still remain in performance arts today. As we are living in a globalized world, this study is designed to serve as basic information for people to understand more about the traditional Korean culture and to provide scientific and practical research motivations for dancing actions-the area where adequate research has not been made in the Korean artistic and cultural field.

      • Streptococcus Intermedius 패혈증이 동반된 광범위 문맥염과 간농양

        Pylephlebitis (septic thrombophlebitis of the portal venous system) is a rare but serious complication of intra-abdominal infections that drain into the portal venous system. Its diagnosis is based on imaging; computed tomography may reveal a thrombus in the portal vein. Bacteremia may also be evident. As the symptoms are nonspecific, early clinical diagnosis is difficult, and delayed treatment can compromise outcomes. We report a case with extensive pylephlebitis and a liver abscess associated with Streptococcus intermedius sepsis; the case was treated successfully with antibiotics and anticoagulants. Such cases have not been widely reported. (Korean J Med 2019;94:375-378)

        재즈댄스의 수행이 기초체력에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 일반인 여성과 재즈댄스를 2년 이상 실시한 여성간의 기초체력의 차이를 규명하여 고른 신체발달을 위한 프로그램 개발의 기초 자료로 삼기 위하여 호핑테스트, 서전트 점프, 체전굴, 체후굴, 배근력, 윗몸일으키기를 측정하여 집단간의 차이를 비교, 분석하였다. 측정에 의해 얻어진 결과는 SPSS/PC 13.0 프로그램을 이용하여 평균 및 표준편차 (M±SD)를 산출하고, 집단간 동질성 검증을 위해 대상자의 일반적 특성에 대해 independent t-test를 각 측정항목의 집단 (재즈댄서, 일반여성) 간 및 집단과 좌·우측 간 차이를 검증하기 위하여 one ANOVA와 two way ANOVA를 실시하였으며, 유의한 차이가 발견될 경우 사후검증을 위해 independent t-test를 이용하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 재즈댄스의 수행은 호핑과 서전트 점프에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이는 재즈댄스는 주로 무릎보다는 발목으로 점프하여 발목을 쓰는 동작이 많으며, 정적인 동작보다 동적인 동작을 많이 하는 춤의 특성상 점프와 관련된 하지의 근력에 유의한 영향을 미친 것으로 사료된다. 둘째, 재즈댄스의 수행은 체전굴, 체후굴에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이는 재즈댄스의 분리기법(isolation), 웨이브(wave) 등의 특징적인 동작으로 인하여 유연성에 유의한 영향을 미친 것으로 사료된다. 셋째, 재즈댄스의 수행은 배근력, 윗몸일으키기에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이는 재즈댄스가 상체의 근력에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 허리의 근력을 증가시키기에는 그 자극 정도가 부족한 것으로 사료된다. 따라서 지도자는 재즈댄스를 전신의 고른 신체발달을 위한 운동프로그램으로 활성화 시키고 전문 재즈댄스 무용수의 상해예방을 위해서는 프로그램에 상체의 근력 향상을 위한 운동프로그램을 추가하여야 할 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study is to set up the foundation for inventing a exercise program with the aim of promoting balanced body build-up by verifying the differences between the general females and the other females who have been doing Jazz dance more than for 2 years. To be specific, this study compares and analyzes their physical strength by a series of fitness tests such as hopping, abdominal muscle strength, waist bends (both forward and backward), sargent jump, and sit-ups. The conclusions of the study are as follows. To begin with, Jazz dance performance caused a notable difference between the two groups, in physical strength of hopping and sargent jump. It is mainly because Jazz dance has lots of movements using ankle rather than knee. Furthermore, it is composed primarily of dynamic motions more than statical motions, thus strengthening the lower part of the body. Next, Jazz dance remarkably affected physical strength in connection with the ability of forward and backward waist bends because the unique motions of Jazz dance, such as isolation and wave, improved flexibility. Third, it was rarely that Jazz dance performance had an important influence on abdominal muscle strength and sit-up ability. It is due to the fact that Jazz dance is not much to do with enhancing the upper body strength. Likewise, Jazz dance is not effective to increase waist muscle strength. Therefore, trainers are recommended to add the strength exercise program for upper body into Jazz dance, so that it would be generalized as a typical exercise program for balanced body build-up, and prevent Jazz dancers from possible injuries.

        연골 재생을 위한 젤라틴과 젤란검을 혼합한 하이드로젤 평가

        천연 다당류인 젤란검은 내열성, 내산성, 내효소성이 우수하여, 널리 조직공학적으로 응용을 위해 사용된다. 그러나 젤란검은 낮은 세포 부착력을 갖는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 연골 세포 부착 효율을 증진시키기위해, 젤란검 무게당 0, 10, 20 및 30 wt%의 젤라틴이 포함된 젤라틴/젤란검(G/GG) 하이드로젤을 제작하였다. 제작된 G/GG 하이드로젤의 물리적, 화학적 특성을 평가하기 위해, 압축강도, SEM, FTIR을 평가하였다. 또한 하이드로젤에서 연골 세포의 세포 부착력 및 기능적 유지를 관찰하기 위하여, MTT, RT-PCR을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 21일에 20 wt% G/GG 하이드로젤의 연골 세포 증식률은 0, 10, 및 30 wt%의 G/GG 하이드로젤보다 1.058, 1.051 및 1.04배 높게 나타났으며, 타입 2 콜라겐 유전자 발현 역시 각각 1.35, 1.21 및 1.16배로 관찰되었다. 그러므로, 20 wt% G/GG 하이드로젤은 연골 재생을 위한 생체재료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Gellan gum is a natural polysaccharide with good heat, acid and enzymes resistance, and widely used for tissue engineering application. However, one of the drawbacks of gellan gum is lower cell attachment. Hence, in this study, gelatin/ gellan gum (G/GG) hydrogels containing 0, 10, 20, and 30 wt% of gelatin per gellan gum weight were prepared for improvement of chondrocyte attachment efficiency. The mechanical and chemical properties of prepared G/GG hydrogel were evaluated using compression strength, scanning electron microscopy and FTIR. Also, the cellular proliferation and functional maintenance of chondrocytes in hydrogel was assessed by MTT analysis, and RT-PCR. The results showed that 20 wt% G/GG hydrogel was 1.058, 1.051 and 1.04 folds higher chondrocyte proliferation compared to 0, 10 and 30 wt% and Type-II collagen gene expression was 1.35, 1.21 and 1.16 folds at 21 days, respectively. Thus, 20 wt% G/GG hydrogel can be envisioned as a useful biomaterial for future cartilage regeneration applications.

        진주검무에 내재된 미의식에 관한 연구

        After considering the structure, the shape of steps and aesthetic value of JinJoo GumMoo, I made a conclusion, following; it started as a mask dance Which was made in the shape of an elite youth corps of Shilla to pray for the repose of then- departed soul. And it had developed from the excursion mask dance Which tended to be satirical and enchainment to the Giseng dance. The particularities of JinJoo GumMoo is the shape of steps. various shape of steps such as the side steps and the upper steps. Specially, the hand moving of JinJoo GumMoo is differs from other kinds of dances; the dancer wears Hansam in both hands at the beginning of the dance. Also, there are the beauties of connection and womankind in the movement from the backdown at Yoenpoongdae to next movement: moreover, the beauty of emphasis through repetition of those delicate movements is a special feat use of JinJoo GumMoo. I found on the womankind beauty of JinJoo GumMoo mainly considering the Court Dance. Originally, JinJoo GumMoo was come out from the militaristic martial spirit; however, because it had been initiated among the Gisengs in the government offices, JinJoo GumMoo became to have more soft tone movements in it. Therefore, GumMoo (Sword Dance) had been gradually changed to the present GumMoo that is elegant and soften, Today`s JinJoo GumMoo is composed of elegant and supple movements without masks, not having grandeur and magnanimous actions. Now, the GumMoo held annually in JinJoo is an important data about the form and it has a long history. JinJoo GumMoo, Having traditional genealogy, is generally accepted as one of the most traditional GumMoos. It still receiving the mantle of the preceding abbot, and the basis of JinJoo GumMoo is definite in the history of the dance.

        각 계절별 식물의 식재량에 의한 휘발성유기화합물과 폼알데하이드의 저감효과에 관한 연구

        This study aims at examining the reduction of indoor air contaminants by plants placed in an indoor space. The effect of reducing the concentration of air contaminants by three species of plants was studied in a full-scale mock-up model. Field measurements were performed using Aglaonema brevispathum, Pachira aquatica and Ficus benjamiana which were verified as air-purifying plants by NASA. The concentration of Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs) was monitored three hours after the plants were placed and three days after the plants were placed. The variations of concentration of Benzene, Toluene, Etylbenzene, Xylene, Stylene and Formaldehyde, which are all known as the major elements of VOCs were monitored. The more plants were used, the more a reduction of indoor air contaminants occurred. As a result, Aglaonema brevispathum, Pachira aquatica and Ficus benjamiana produced decrease effect all, but it is thought better to set up Ficus benjamiana for a better effect.
