As regulations on greenhouse gas emission have strengthened globally, the demand for improved fuel efficiency in automobiles continues to rise. In response, the tire industry is actively conducting research to improve fuel efficiency by enhancing tire performance. In this study, silica-filled epoxidized natural rubber (ENR)/butadiene rubber (BR) blend compounds were manufactured according to ENR types and silica contents, and their physical properties and vulcanizate structure were evaluated. ENR-50, which has a higher epoxide content than ENR-25, exhibited stronger filler–rubber interaction, resulting in superior abrasion resistance. In addition, because of its high glass transition temperature (Tg), the wet grip performance of ENR-50 improved, even though the rolling resistance increased. Increasing the amount of silica had little effect on the abrasion resistance due to the increase in filler–rubber interaction and decrease in toughness. In addition, ENR-50 exhibited better wet grip performance; however, the rolling resistance increased. The results indicated that truck bus radial (TBR) tire tread compounds can be designed by applying ENR-50 to improve wear resistance and wet grip performance. In addition, by applying ENR-25 and reducing the silica contents improve fuel efficiency.
A Program for Efficient Phasing of Three-Generation Trio SNP Genotype Data

Here, we report a computer program written in Python,which phases SNP genotypes and infers inherited deletions based on the pattern of Mendelian inheritance within a trio pedigree. When tiered trio genotypes that encompass three generations are available, it narrows a recombination event down to a region between two consecutive heterozygous markers. In addition, the phase information that is inferred from the upper trio that is formed by one of the parents and grandparents can be propagated to phase the genotypes of the lower trio that is formed by the parents and an offspring.
가토에서 TGF-β 길항제인 Decorin이 창상치유에 미치는 영향

There have been many trials to decrease the scar formation followed by wound treatment, TGF-β plays a important role on wound healing in adult. Therefore the repression of TGF-β expression will be helpful to decrease scar formation. Decorin is known to competitively inhibit TGF-β expression. Decorin were subcutaneously administered in surgical wounds in rabbits to investgate the preventing effect of scar formation for clinical application. Histologic findings of wound healing progresses is similar with control and experimental group at 2week. 2.5㎍ decorin of administrated group was similar to those of control group at 4 and 8week. In wound healing process 10㎍ decorin of administrated groupsat showed that thickness of immature collagen fibers(scar) was decreased as compared with control group at 4, 8 weeks. 20㎍ decorin of administrated group showed similar histologic features to 10㎍ administrated group. The wounds of 8week experimental group(10, 20㎍) were completely recovered to the normal surrounding skin tissue including sweat gland and hair follicle. These results suggested that docorin can be of help to the prevention of local scar formation.
