        오십견 환자에 있어서 고유수용성신경근 촉진법과 일반적인 운동치료의 효과에 대한 비교연구

        Two techniques were compared to test their effectiveness of frozen shoulder. The study was 20 cases of frozen shoulder who were treated at the department of physical therapy at Kum ma clinic during 6 months from 1 July, 1994 to 30 December, 1994. The treatment methods were application Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation(PNF) and General Exercise(Pendulum exercise, Scratch exercise, Overhead pully, Shoulder wheel). The results obtained from these cases were as follows; 1. The subjects were 8(40 %) males and 12(60 %) females. The largest group was $50{\sim}59$ years of age 8 persons(40 %). 2. The majority of patients came for physical treatment within $7{\sim}10$ months after onset of shoulder pain(10 presons or 50 %) and 11 months after(4 persons or 20 %). 3. PNF cases recovered in average of 23 days and G - E cases 32 days. Also, the PNF method showed the best results in treatment of frozen shoulder better than the G-E.

      • PNF 통합패턴과 FES 병행이 뇌졸중 환자의 보행에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation(PNF) and Functional Electrical Stimulation(FES) of combined on gait ability in hemiplegic gait. Methods : The subjects of this study were 13 hemiplegic patients. Each subjects was taken PNF pattern and FES of combined with 5 times per week for 4weeks. Pre- and Post-intervention change in gait ability were measured using an Timed up and Go test, stride length of the affected side, step length of the affected side. The data were analyzed using the paired t-test. Results : The results of this study were showed significantly improvement in TUG, stride length of the affected side, step length of the affected side after intervention. Conclusion : These results suggest that the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation(PNF) and Functional Electrical Stimulation(FES) of combined exercise is an effective way of improving gait ability for hemiplegic patients.

        아마추어 골퍼들의 성취목표성향이 골프몰입 및 심리적 행복감에 미치는 영향

        [목적] 본 연구는 경기⋅충청 지역의 아마추어 골퍼들을 대상으로 성취목표성향이 골프몰입 및 심리적 행복감에 미치는 영향의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. [방법] 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 22.0 Version 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 확률표본 추출법 중 집락 무선 표집법을 이용하여 총 377부를 표집하였으나, 일부 누락된 20부를 제외한 357부의 자료가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. [결과] 첫째, 아마추어 골퍼들의 성취목표성향의 하위요인인 자아지향과 과제지 향 모두 골프몰입의 하위요인인 인지몰입과 행위몰입에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아마추어 골퍼들의 성취목표성향의 하위요인인 자아지향과 과제지향은 심리적 행복감의 하위요인인 즐거움, 자아실현, 몰 입감에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 골프몰입의 하위요인인 인지몰입과 행위몰입은 심리적인 행복감의 하위요인 중 자아실현, 몰입감에는 모두 정적인 영향을 미치고, 즐거움에는 인지몰입만 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. [결론] 아마추어 골퍼들의 골프에 대한 성취목표성향은 골프몰입과 심리적 행복감에 긍 정적인 영향을 미친다. [Purpose] The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between achievement goal orientation on golf flow and psychological happiness among amateur golfers in Gyeong-gi and Chung-cheong areas. [Method] For data analysis, a total of 377 copies were collected using the cluster sampling method among probability sampling method using the SPSS 22.0 Version statistical program, but 357 copies of data were used for the final analysis except for 20 missing copies. [Result] First, both self-oriented and task-oriented, which are sub-factors of amateur golfers' achievement goal orientation, had a positive effect on cognitive flow and behavioral flow. Second, self-oriented and task-oriented, had a positive effect on the pleasure, self-realization, and flow. Third, sub-factors of golf flow, cognitive flow and behavioral flow had a positive effect on sub-factors of psychological happiness, self-realization and flow, and pleasure had a positive effect by cognitive flow only. [Conclusion] Amateur golfers' achievement goal orientation for golf has a positive effect on golf flow and psychological happiness.

        추가적인 몸통 훈련이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 균형과 보행 능력 및 몸통 조절에 미치는 영향

        This study investigated the efficacy of extra trunk exercise (ETE) in improving balance, gait ability, and trunk control in patients with chronic stroke. This study was designed as a pilot randomized clinical trial and included 30 patients with chronic stroke who were randomly assigned to an experimental group (EG) (n=15) and a control group (CG) (n=15). Patients in the EG received conventional physical therapy combined with ETE for 30 min, whereas patients in the CG received only conventional physical therapy. The intervention was performed in both groups for 30 min 5 days a week for 6 weeks (30 sessions). The primary outcomes of balance and gait ability were assessed using the Tinetti scale, and trunk control was assessed using the trunk impairment scale. Assessment was performed before and after the 6-week intervention period. Both groups showed significant improvements in balance, gait ability, and trunk control after the intervention.Notably, the EG showed a significant difference in balance, gait ability, and trunk control compared with the CG. This study indicates that ETE effectively improves balance, gait ability, and trunk control in patients with chronic stroke and that ETE application makes this more efficient. 본 연구는 만성 뇌졸중 환자에게 추가적인 몸통 훈련이 균형과 보행 능력 및 몸통 조절에 미치는 효과를 규명하기 위하여 실시되었다. 단일 눈가림 및 사전 무작위 임상시험으로 진행되었으며, 30명의 만성 뇌졸중 환자는 무작위로 실험군(n=15)과 대조군(n=15)로 배정되었다. 실험군은 추가적인 몸통 훈련을 겸한 일반적인 물리치료를 6주간 주 5회, 총 30회 시행하였다. 대조군은 일반적인 물리치료만을 받았다. 균형과 보행 능력의 평가는 Tinetti 척도를 이용하였고, 몸통 조절은 몸통 손상 척도를 이용하였다. 중재 후 실험군과 대조군 모두에서 균형과 보행 능력 및 몸통 조절이 유의하게 증가하였다. 실험군은 대조군에 비하여 균형과 보행 능력 및 몸통 조절이 유의하게 향상되었다. 본 연구는 추가적인 몸통 훈련은 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 균형과 보행 능력 및 몸통 조절에 효과적임을 증명하였다.

        ICF 도구를 적용한 앞십자인대 재건술 환자의 고유수용성신경근촉진법 중재전략의 증례

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to use an ICF tool in an intervention for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) patients to examine and evaluate the patients' functional problems, measure the results of the intervention, and present the process of preparing proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) intervention strategies, thereby contributing to changes in and development of relevant future clinical practices. Methods: A PNF rehabilitation exercise program using an ICF tool was applied to ACLR patients five times per week for four weeks. To measure the resulting changes, the ICF evaluation display, the visual analog scale (VAS), the manual muscle test (MMT), the range of motion (ROM) test, the Lysholm knee score (LKS), and the muscle endurance test (MET) were used. Results: After the intervention was applied to the ACLR patients, improvements were achieved in all the tests: ICF evaluation display, VAS, MMT, ROM, LKS, and MET. Conclusion: Utilizing the ICF tool, this study identified functional problems of ACLR patients. When the intervention was applied, physical functions improved, and structural damage was reduced, leading to enhanced levels of functional activities such as postural changes, posture maintenance, gait, movements, and movements between different places. The patients were able to complete the teacher training, which was their goal.

        가슴우리팽창과 가로막 호흡운동이 돌림근띠 복원술 환자의 통증과 기능에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The study aims to determine the effect of a breathing exercise on shoulder pain, range of motion (ROM), and forward head posture in patients with rotator cuff repair. Methods: In total, 25 patients with rotator cuff repair were included in this study. The experimental group (n = 13) underwent a breathing exercise, while the control group (n = 12) received traditional physical therapy. The visual analogue scales (VASs) for pain, flexion and abduction ROM, and the craniovertebral angle (CVA) of both groups were recorded at both pre- and post-intervention. Paired t-tests were used to determine significant changes in the post-intervention compared with the pre-intervention period, and independent t-tests were used to analyze differences in dependent variables between the two groups. Results: After the two-week intervention, the experimental group experienced a significantly decreased VAS (p < 0.05) and significantly increased ROM and CVA (p < 0.05), while the control group experienced a significantly decreased VAS (p < 0.05). Further, the experimental group that underwent the breathing exercise showed greater improvements in flexion and abduction ROM and in the CVA than the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The results suggested that a breathing exercise can reduce shoulder pain and enhance ROM and posture in patients with rotator cuff repair.

        The Effect of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Wrist Taping and Rhythmic Stabilization Technique on Pain and Grip Strength in Badminton Players with Wrist Pain

        Purpose: We sought to examine whether using the rhythmic stabilization (RS) technique before proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) wrist taping affected pain and grip strength in patients with wrist pain to provide a basis for the application of PNF taping. Methods: The study consisted of 41 badminton enthusiasts (aged 20–40 years) who reported discomfort and pain due to overuse of their wrists. The subjects were randomly assigned to an experimental group (n=20) or a control group (n=21). In the experimental group, PNF wrist taping was applied after application of the PNF RS technique, and PNF wrist taping was applied after stretching in the control group. The tape was applied five times a week for 3 weeks. Pain was measured using the visual analog scale (VAS). Grip strength was measured using a dynamometer. The paired t-test was performed to compare grip strength and pain within the groups before and after the intervention. Covariance analysis was conducted to compare differences between the experimental group and control group. The level of significance was set as α=0.05. Results: Within-group changes in grip strength and VAS were significantly different in the control group and experimental group (p<0.01). Grip strength and VAS showed more improvement in the experimental group than in the control group (p<0.01). Conclusion: PNF wrist taping after stretching and the PNF RS technique both significantly reduced pain and improved grip strength in club badminton players with wrist pain. These improvements were significantly greater in the experimental group in which the PNF RS technique was applied. The results suggest that PNF may be considered useful to improve grip strength and reduce wrist pain.

        가상현실 프로그램을 이용한 로봇-보행 훈련이 급성기 척수손상환자의 보행능력 및 일상생활 수행능력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Robot-assist training on gait ability in patients with spinal cord injury. 22 patients with spinal cord injury were recruited for this study. The subjects were randomly assigned to either the experimental group(EG) or the control group(CG), with 11 patients in each group. All subjects received a routine physical therapy. The robot-assist training was for 20 min in the case of the EG subjects. The assessment tools of this study involved the balance ability(TETRAX), 10m walking test, 6minutes walking test, modified barthel index. The measurements were recorded before the intervention and after the intervention. In the cases of the EG subjects and CG subjects, the variables measured after the intervention significantly differed from balance ability(TETRAX), 10m walking test, 6minutes walking test, modified barthel index measured before the intervention (p <.05). Also, there were significant differences in balance ability(TETRAX), 10m walking tets, 6minutes walking test, modified barthel index at post test between the 2 groups (p < .05). The findings indicate that robot-assist training exerts a positive effect on gait ability in patient with spinal cord injury. Further studies are required to generalize the result of this study. 본 연구는 가상현실 프로그램을 이용한 로봇-보행 훈련이 급성기 척수손상환자의 보행능력에 미치는 효과를 평가하기 위해 실시되었다. 본 연구에 22명의 척수손상환자가 참여하였다. 연구 대상은 척수손상환자를 각각 11명씩 무작위로 배정하였다. 모든 환자들은 보존적 물리치료를 받았으며, 실험군에게 추가적으로 로봇-보행훈련을 20분 동안 시행하였다. 본 연구의 평가 도구는 균형능력평가(TETRAX), 10M 보행검사, 6분 걷기 검사, 수정된 바델지수였다. 측정은 중재 전, 후로 실시하였다. 중재 후 군내에서 실험군과 대조군의 균형능력평가(TETRAX), 10M 보행검사, 6분 걷기 검사, 수정된 바델 지수의 중재 전, 후 값에서 유의한 차이를 보였다(p <.05). 실험군은 중재 전, 후 차이값이 균형능력평가(TETRAX), 10M 보행검사, 6분 걷기 검사, 수정된 바델 지수에서 각각 36.81±12.22, 4348±6.46, 45.72 ±22.76, 32.54±13.02 향상되었고, 대조군은 각각의 평가에서 24.81±22.08, 39.52±8.7, 24.63±19.9, 19.27±11.69 향상되었다. 두 군 간의 중재 후의 평가 비교에서 중재 후 균형능력평가(TETRAX), 10M 보행검사, 6분 걷기 검사, 수정된 바델지수에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(p <.05). 이는 로봇-보행훈련이 척수손상환자의 보행능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 앞으로 이러한 연구 결과를 일반화시키는 것이 필요할 것이라고 사료된다.

      • Ionized Calcium 및 Chitosan의 혼합처방에 따른 항균효과에 관한 연구

        The antibacterial effects of chitosan depend on its molecular weight. The inhibition rate of bacteria growth of designated high in Gram positive, which was high in S aurens, S. epidermidis and Bacillus subtilis, low in S. mutans, high in C. albicans in fungi, low in A. niger. The inhibition rate of bacteria growth of chitosan was comparatively high in Gram positive, low in S. mutans and it showed high numerical value in C. albicans of fungi. The rate recorded good result at molecular weight 200,000 relatively, there was no difference, according to the molecular weight. The inhibition rate of bacteria growth according to the concentration of the increased differently between 1,000~10,000㎍/㎖, it showed antibacterial activity close to the inhibition rate of growth of chitosan rather than ionized calcium. The minimum inhibitory concentration marked the highest in the mixture of cihtosan and ionized calcium for all kind of bacteria generally, there was a little difference between yeast and fungi.
