There is clamping force loss after tightening because of Embedding phenomenon in automotive chassis systems. That loss could be problems of noise and damaging in automotive chassis systems. So this paper describes an experiment on clamping force loss due to embedding by fastening structure. The experiment shows, as fastened part is long, stiff and tapered, clamping force loss by embedding is more.
