        도시 대기중 수은 농도 경인지역을 중심으로

        Atmospheric mercury was collected by gold amalgamation method and analyzed by cold flameless atomic absorption spectrometry. The distribution of atmospheric mercury was investigated at seven location (rural I, II, industrial I, II, University and the center of urban). The amount of atmospheric mercury collected at the rural area I (Mt. Seolack) ranged from 0.7 to 1.8ng/m3, and mean value was 1.2ng/m3 (n=4), at the rural area II (Buyeo) ranged from 0.8 to 5.1ng/m3, and mean value was 2.Ong/m3 (n=8), at the area of the center of urban (Jong-ro 3 Ga, Seoul) ranged from 22.7 to 43.1ng/m3, and mean value was 35.1ng/m3 (n=12), at the residential area I (Galak Dong, Seoul) ranged from 2.2 to 5.1ng/m3, and mean value was 3.5ng/m3 (n=6) at the Chung-Ang University (Heukseok Dong, Seoul) ranged from 2.2 to 176.2ng/m3, mean value was 36.8ng/m3 and median value was 16.0ng/m3 (n=188), at the residential area II (Goowal Dong, Inchon) ranged from 6.4 to 20.7ng/m3, and mean value was 13.1ng/m3 (n=10), and at the industrial area (Songhyun Dong, Inchon) ranged from 13.9 to 88.3ng/m3, and mean value was 38.9ng/m3 (n=12). The behavior of atmospheric mercury concentration at Chung-Ang University showed high in day time and summer, but low in night-time and winter.

        Red Mecuric Sulfide투여 후의 백서체내 수은분포에 관한 연구

        The organ distribution of mercury was examined in the rat after oral administration of a single dose of red mercuric sulfide (15mg Hg/kg). The concentration of total mercury in the organs and blood after 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24 and 72 hours of administration was determined by Quartz Tube Combustion-Gold Amalgamation Method. It was found that the maximal concentration of total mercury was in the kidneys and muscle within 24 hours and in the brain, heart, liver and blood within 48 hours. The descending order of the maximal organ and blood concentration was: kidneys(1.08ppm)> blood> muscle> heart> liver> brain. The accumulation states of total mercury in the rat organs were investigated by continuous administration of red mercuric sulfide (5mg Hg/kg/day) for 15 days. The mercury concentration increased progressively throughout the experimental period and the descending order of the highest level of mercury after 15 days was: kidneys (1.55ppm)> blood> liver. The concentration of alkyl mercury in brain, liver and kidneys also was measured after 7 and 15 days of consecutive administration of red mercuric sulfide (5mg Hg/kg/day). The concentration in the Kidneys and the liver was very low, but was significantly different from control group. The concentration in the brain was extremely low and was not significantly different from control group.

        부유분진중 다환방향족 탄화수소에 관한 연구 서울 흑석동 지역을 중심으로

        This paper describes on the distribution of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in various size of atmospheric particulate matter (A.P.M.). A.P.M. in Seoul city were collected on guartz fiber filter according to particle size using an Andersen high volume air sampler from Feb. 1983 to March 1984. And 7 PAHs [benzo(a)pyrene, benzo(k)fluoranthene, benzo(ghi)perylene, benzo(e)pyrene, perylene, chrysene, and pyrene] were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. The concentration of A.P.M. showed spring-winter maxima and summer-autumn minia. The A.P.M. was lowest in the concentration at the 1.1-3.3mcm particulates, and the concentration increased as the particle size increased or decreased. But the concentrations of PAHs increased with the decrease in the particle size, and were predominant in winter. The correlations among the PAHs were high. And therefore, benzo(a)pyrene concentration could be considered as the representive of PAHs.

        도시 대기 부유분진 중 음이온의 농도

        Total suspended particles were collected and size-fractionated by an Andersen high- volume air sampler at Chungang University located near the Han River, Seoul, Korea, during the period form March, 1986 to August, 1986 and from March, 1987 to February, 1988. The concentrations and the particle size distributions of anions such as chloride, nitrate and sulfate were determined by ion chromatography. The averages of concentrations were 125.43 mcg/m3 in 1986 and 189.19 mcg/m3 in 1987 for total suspended particles (TSP), 2.12 mcg/m3 in 1986 and 4.l4 mcg/m3 in 1987 for chloride, 4.39 mcg/m3 in 1986 and 5.95 mcg/m3 in 1987 for nitrate and 11.98 mcg/m3 in 1986 and 19.29 mcg/m3 in 1987 for sulfate. Size distribution of TSP was found to be generally bimodal. Chloride exhibited a seasonal variation in the distribution; fine particles were predominant in the winter whereas the concentration of coarse ones was almost same through four seasons. Nitrate showed a distribution similar to that of chloride. Such variation was less significant for sulfate. For chloride and nitrate, the relationship between the monthly averaged distribution pattern and air temperature was analyzed in terms of fine fraction (FF). The FF decreased with increasing air temperature.

        대기 중 Benzopyrene 및 중금속의 농도와 입경분포

        Total suspended particulate (TSP) in the atmosphere was collected and size-fractionated by Andersen high volume air sampler for the past two years (Mar. 1987-Feb. 1989) in Seoul. The concentrations of several Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and heavy metals were determined to investigate the atmospheric concentrations, seasonal variations and its relationship with the size distribution of suspended particulate matter. The arithmetic mean concentration of total suspended particulate was 229.48mcg/m3. The concentrations of heavy metals were 2971.94ng/m3 for Fe, 767.75ng/m3 for Zn, 765.80ng/m3 for Pb, 218.40ng/m3 for Cu, 129.91ng/m3 for Mn, respectively. And the concentration of PAHs were 3.23ng/m3 for benzo(a)pyrene, 2.71ng/m3 for benzo(k)fluoranthene, 4.53ng/m3 for benzo(ghi)perylene, respectively. The mass-size distribution of TSP was lowest in the particle size range 1.1-3.3mcm increased as the particle size increased or decreased. But PAHs, Pb and Zn abounded in particles below 2.0mcm, while Fe and Mn abouned in particles above 2.0mcm. TSP and its chemical compositions showed the seasonal variations. The concentrations of anthrophogenic origin like TSP, PAH and heavy metals in the fine particles were highest in winter and lowest in summer. PAH and Ph analyzed showed significant correlations with each other and with TSP concentration in fine particles, indicating that the particles in which they are contained have a similar behavior in the atmosphere.

        낙동강유역의 수질 및 담수어중 총수은함량에 관한 연구

        Total-mercury contents of water and fresh-water fishes from NakDong river basin in July, 1985 were determined by Quartz Tube combustion-Gold Amalgamation method. Samples were collected at 12 sites (An Dong Lake, An Dong, Go Pyong, Nak Dong, Ku Mi, Sung Ju Bridge, Hyon Poong, Jeok Kyo, Nam Ji, Su San, Kim Hae, Ku Po) of Nak Dong river basin and physico-chemical. properties of water were determined by Horiba U-7 type analyzer Calibration method was used in calculation for those of fresh-water fishes and Standard Addition method, for water. The results were as follows ; 1 . Total mercury contents of 6 species, 124 freshwater fishes averaged 0.196ppm. 2. Total-mercury contents of Parasilurus Asotus were gradually increased from the upper stream to the down (0.25∼0.40ppm) 3. Total mercury contents in various parts of Carassius Auratus muscle were comparatively uniform. 4. Mean total mercury contents of Parasilurus Asotus (0.314ppm) was higher than that of Carassius Auratus (0.123ppm), which is thought to be caused by the difference of habitats. 5. pH and DO values of water were gradually decreased from the upper stream to the down. 6. Conductivity of Ku Po site was particulary high (1.8) 7. Total mercury contents of water averaged 0.279ppb. 8. The concentration ratio of total mercury contents between fresh-water fishes and water approximately averaged 773 : 1.

      • 금강유역의 수질및 어류중의 수은 함량

        To survey the background values and conditions of pollution originated from mercury compounds, water and fish samples were collected in 12 places of Keum river basin from August to September in 1989 and their total mercury contents were analyzed. Physico-chemical properties of water were determined at collection. The mercury in water sample was extracted with dithizone-benzene and fish samples were pretreated for direct combustion. Total mercury contents were detected by Quartz Tube Combustion-Gold Amalgamation Method using Flameless Atomic Absorption Spectrophoto-mery. Calibration curves were constructed by injection of standard solution for fish and standard addition method for water. Total mercury content of 10 species, 90 fish samples were averaged 0.126ppm and that of water was 0.188ppb. The fluctuation of the total mercury contents, their biologi-cal concentration ratios and physico-chemical properties of water would be discussed in this paper.

        한강수를 수원(水源)으로 하는 수도수의 Trihalomethane 의 정량

        서울시의 팔당 구의 뚝도 보광동 및 노량진의 수원지의 수도구를 거리별로 17지점을 선정하여 1984년 7월, 8월, 9월, 月 1回씩 수도수 中의 trihalomethane量을 head space法으로 정량한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 서울시 수도수 中의 total trihalomethane量은 7월, 8월, 9월의 평균값이 각각 32.2, 19.1, 9.8㎍/ℓ이였다. 8월 9월의 trihalomethane量과 비교하면 7월이 현저하게 높았다. 2. 水源池別 total trihalomethane 量은 뚝도 노량진 水源池계통의 수도수가 비교적 높은 값을 나타내었다. 3. 七月의 노량진 水源地의 水道水中의 CHCℓ₂Br의 平均값은 12.9㎍/ℓ로서 전체平均값 6.5㎍/ℓ의 2倍를 나타내고 있었다. From 17 tap water sampling points throughout the metropolitan Seoul supplied from paldang, Gueui, Bokwang, Noryang jin and Dukdo water treatment plant, using Han river as water source, trihalomethane concentration were measured 3 times during July, August, and September, 1984. Total trihalomethane were high in tap water samples from Noryang jin and Dukdo water treatment plant and low from Gueui water treatment plant. Average trihalomethane concentrations were 32.2㎍/ℓ, 19.1㎍/ℓand 9.8㎍/ℓfor July, August, and September respectively, and by comparing with the trihalomethane concentrations of August and September, that of July was obviously high. It is noted that average CHCl₂Br concentration of tap water supplied from Noryang jin water treatment plant in July was 12.9 ㎍/ℓ which were attained to about twice of total average concentration of 6.5㎍/ℓ.
