메탄의 수증기 개질 반응에서 Ni/CeO<sub>2</sub>-ZrO<sub>2</sub> 촉매의 수소 생산에 대한 Ru 및 Pd의 조촉매 효과

메탄의 수증기 개질 반응에서 Ni 기반 촉매에 귀금속 Ru 및 Pd을 조촉매로 첨가하여 촉매의 활성 및 수소 생산에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 합성된 촉매는 허니컴 구조의 금속 모노리스 구조체 표면에 코팅하여 수증기 메탄 개질 반응을 수행하였다. 촉매의 특성은 XRD, TPR 및 SEM으로 분석하였으며 개질 반응 후 가스를 포집하여 GC로 조성을 분석한 후 메탄의 전환율, 수소 수율 및 CO 선택도를 측정하였다. 0.5 wt%의 Ru 첨가는 Ni의 환원 특성을 개선하였고, 99.91%의 메탄 전환율로 향상된 촉매 활성을 나타내었다. 또한, 다양한 공정 조건에 따른 반응 특성을 분석하였으며, 800 ℃의 반응 온도, 10000 h<sup>-1</sup> 이하의 공간속도(GHSV), 3 이상의 H<sub>2</sub>O와 CH<sub>4</sub>의 비(S/C)에서 90% 이상의 메탄 전환율과 3.3 이상의 수소 수율을 얻을 수 있었다. In the steam reforming of methane reactions, the effect of adding noble metals Ru and Pd to a Ni-based catalyst as promoters was analyzed in terms of catalytic activity and hydrogen production. The synthesized catalysts were coated on the surface of a honeycomb-structured metal monolith to perform steam methane reforming reactions. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, TPR, and SEM, and after the reforming reaction, the gas composition was analyzed by GC to measure methane conversion, hydrogen yield, and CO selectivity. The addition of 0.5 wt% Ru improved the reduction properties of the Ni catalyst and exhibited enhanced catalytic activity with a methane conversion of 99.91%. In addition, reaction characteristics were analyzed according to various process conditions. Methane conversion of over 90% and hydrogen yield of more than 3.3 were achieved at a reaction temperature of 800 ℃, a gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) of less than 10000 h<sup>-1</sup>, and a ratio of H<sub>2</sub>O to CH<sub>4</sub> (S/C) higher than 3.
족근관절 골절 치료후 발생한 동통에 대한 관절경의 이용

목적 : 족근관절 손상 후 동통을 호소하는 환자에서 동통의 원인을 찾아내어 적절한 치료를 시행하기는 쉽지 않다. 그러나 최근 들어 관절경 기계 및 술기가 비약적으로 발전하면서 족근관절 손상 후 나타나는 동통의 원인을 진단하고 치료하는데 관절경의 이용이 증가되고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 족근관절 골절 치료 후 만성 동통의 원인 진단과 치료에 대한 족근관절경의 유용성을 알아보려는 것이다. 대상 및 방법 : 1997년 1월부터 1998년 6월까지 족근관절 골절 치료 후 족근관절의 지속적인 동통과 운동 제한으로 최소 3개월동안 물리 치료를 받았던 환자중 증상의 호전이 없어 족근관절경을 시행한 17례를 분석하였다. 결과 : 방사선적 검사에서 관절내 유리체가 2례, 골관절염의 진행 정도에 의한 분류상 Crade 0 3례, Crade I 8례, Crade II 6례, Grade III는 없었으며, 족근관절 전방부의 골극은 14례에서 관찰되었다. 관절경 소견상 비후성 활액막염이 전례에서, 연부조직 충돌 증후군이 총 13례, 관절내 유리체 5례 그리고 연골 병변 4례가 관찰되었다. 관절경적 치료로 골극의 골 연마술 8례, 연부 조직 제거술은 13례, 관절내 유리체 제거술이 5례에서 시행되었다. Evanski와 Waugh score상 족근관절경 술전 기능 34점, 동통 17.4점, 운동 범위 7.3점으로 평균 58.7점에서 술후 기능 38.4점, 동통 28.4점, 운동 범위 7.8점으로 평균 74.6점이었으며 전체 17례 중 14례$(82\%)$에서 증상이 호전되었다. 합병증은 전례에서 보이지 않았다. 결론 : 족근관절 골절 치료후 만성적 족근관절 동통이나 기능 장애가 있는 환자에서 진단과 치료를 동시에 시행할 수 있는 관절경술은 매우 유용한 방법으로 사료된다. Purpose : The diagnosis of the causes of residual pain after ankle fractures and the treatment is not simple. The authors analyzed the clinical results of the patients with residual pain after ankle fracture fur whom ankle arthroscopy was undertaken, for the purpose of evaluating the efficacy of arthroscopic diagnosis and treatment. Materials and Methods : From January 1997 to June 1998, ankle arthroscopy was done for the seventeen patients suffering from residual ankle pain and limitation of motion after ankle fracture. Their symptoms were not improved despite conservative treatment. There were sixteen men and one woman, and their mean age was 37.4 years. Result : Radiological examination revealed loose bodies in two patients, and osteophytes at the anterior rim of the tibia in fourteen patients. By the classification of osteoarthritic change, three ankles were assigned to grade 0, eight to grade I, six to grade II, and none to grade III. On arthroscopic examination, soft tissue impingement was found In thirteen cases, loose bodies in five cases, and osteochondral lesions in four cases. For arthroscopic treatments, removal of soft tissue, abrasion of osteophytes, cartilage shaving and removal of loose bodies were done. Clinical results were evaluated using Evanski and Waugh score. Preoperative overall score of 58.7 points jumped to 74.6 points after the operation, and in fourteen patients$(82\%)$ the symptoms were improved. Conclusion : Ankle arthroscopy is considered to be a very useful diagnostic and treatment method fer the patients with residual complaints after ankle fracture.
매립가스 및 폐플라스틱의 친환경 분해를 통한 수소·탄소 활용 네트워크 구축

The current method used to recycle waste, which is responsible for more than 30% of methane generation, has limitations, including the combustion stage, which can cause additional environmental pollution during the recycling process. In addition, as the amount of waste synthetic resin entering landfills increases due to the activation of delivery services, the government has advocated the need to minimize the incineration and landfilling of waste synthetic resin. In this study, we propose 1) an eco-friendly way to resource landfill gas and waste synthetic resin generated in landfills by introducing a pyrolysis method using Ni-based catalysts, and 2) a network system that can environmentally utilize hydrogen, carbon, and carbon dioxide generated through the pyrolysis method. Finally, 3) we attempted to quantitatively calculate the environmental benefits of applying the proposed network to the Cheongju Metropolitan Landfill. Accordingly, a plan to utilize Ni-based catalysts, which have a methane conversion rate of about 1.5 times that of Si-based catalysts, was proposed, and the hydrogen generated in the process can be utilized as a fuel cell, and carbon and carbon dioxide can be utilized by establishing a carbon/carbon dioxide industry cluster around the landfill, which can bring environmental and economic benefits to the local government. As a result of applying the proposed network to the Cheongju Metropolitan Landfill, it was found that using hydrogen fuel cells to operate vehicles in the intercity bus terminal can reduce the use of fossil fuels by about 12,846.2 liters per day, which can reduce carbon dioxide by about 67 tons per month. The study also showed that if a C/CO2 industry cluster is built using the surrounding land, it can be used to reduce dependence on high carbon imports and lay the foundation for building a carbon-independent city. The results of this study can be applied to other local governments with landfills and are expected to help them achieve carbon neutrality and build carbon-independent cities.

Spontaneous osteonecrosis of the knee was first described by Ahlbck et al in 1968 as the spontaneous and sudden onset of severe pain, usually on the medial side of the knee joint, in old age(>60 years) with no specific etiologic factors. They differentiate the disease from osteochondritis dissecans, osteoarthritis, fracture, infection, neuropathic joint and secondary osteonecrosis of the knee joint. So far many investigators described this disease but had never observed cases developed in young patient with familial occurrence. The report presented here is a case of spontaneous osteonecrosis of both medial and lateral femoral condyles involving the bilateral knee joint that were treated by arthorscopic loose body removal and multiple drilling.
