        CNKI 데이터를 활용한 포제 DB 구축 및 동향분석

        “Processing” is one of the techniques to change the toxicity of medicinal herbs or its specific component. It is widely used in the clinical area, but there are arising problems that toxic substances are created during the processing. Moreover, there is not much standardization for the processing of Korean medicines. We collected research papers conducted research with processing using the CNKI website and made a database which composed the method of processing, the purpose of the experiment, and the result of the experiment. Using this database, we analyzed the articles according to the medicinal parts, the processing method, and additives. Researchers will be able to search for information of interest herbs about the application method and the effects.

        후성유전체 연구동향 분석 및 한의약 활용 방안 연구

        The epigenesis is a phenomenon in which genetic information is expressed differently due to inherited factors such as environment, habit, and virus infection without changing the gene base sequence itself. Although many researchers could reveal many secrets of life through deciphering the human genome sequence, many studies using epigenetic have been attempted because genome had difficulty in explaining the various disease incidence. Large-scale projects are being actively carried out globally, and Korea is also participating in this project. We investigated what kind of research was carried out internationally using the epigenome and analyzed the technical factors that are needed to start the study of the epigenetic genome in this paper. We investigated applicable research areas using these techniques and introduced one epigenome project that our team has actually done. Our study used integrated network between DNA methylation and expression, identify epigenetic regulating network hub genes associated with anti-asthmatic effects by D. sophia seed extract (DSE) treatment in OVA-induced mouse model.         한약자원 수집 지원 모바일 앱 개발

        The production of monographs for herbal medicine resources has become active in numerous countries after the Nagoya Protocol has taken effect since 2014. We have to accumulate accurate information as a country of biological, genetic resources. The limiting factor that occurs at a field where medical herbs are collected for storing data is that there are sometimes areas where Internet communication is not possible. It is also not possible to search for data that we have already built. To solve these problems, we developed a new supporting tool on mobile which based on Android native application. The herb experts can record accurate information in any environment with this tool such as deep mountains, remote islands, and Mongolia. And we can find the information on plant specimens and origins of herbal medicines that we already have. We have detailed explanations of the mobile apps developed in this paper so that many experts can utilize the system in the future.

        가상 포제 학습 시스템 설계에 관한 연구

        The exact knowledge of herbal drugs is very important in the Korean traditional medicine because rate of herbal drug treatment reaches about 50%. Thus systematic learning and the various training courses in education on herbal drugs are essential element for the correct treatment. But learning and practice hours are not enough in the current education. In this paper, we proposed a design for information system which focused on herbal drug processing that can reinforce the current curriculum. First we have defined the direction of the information system through a trend analysis on the e-PBL(electronic problem based learning) system. In the next step, we constructed a database for the self study and virtual simulation with refer to various books on herbal drug processing. Some problem scenarios were illustrated using this database. Finally, we derived some functions which needed for e-Learning system design. This paper has limitations has limitations because further studies on user satisfaction and applicability in field are needed. Nevertheless, the design for virtual learning system of herbal drug processing is expected to assist clinicians in the future.

        한약 자원 정보 서비스 제공을 위한 전문가 수요조사 분석

        Thanks to the development of medical technology and changes in atmosphere in pursuit of a healthy life, the names of medicinal herbs have become approachable, and public interest has increased. On the other hand, the production of monographs for herbal medicine resources has become active in numerous countries after the Nagoya Protocol has taken effect. This study is about the establishment of a Korean herbal medicine resource monograph that provides herbal medicine resource information service that can be used not only by professionals but also by the general public. Prior to compiling the monograph of 478 medicinal herbs available domestically, the monograph of a sample herb, "Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi(黃芩)" and an establishment guidebook were proposed to 252 experts, and a demand survey was conducted from the perspective of users. Expert counsel was also sought for analysis. If the degree of completion is heightened by applying the collected opinions and supplementing the data for the commencement of service in the second half of the year, the best Korean herbal medicine resource information service with high public confidence is expected to be developed.

        전통의학 지식을 활용한 한약재 네트워크 분석 시스템의 확장

        In biomedical research area, various researches have been carried out to develop novel tools for analyzing biomedical interactions and relationships between compounds, proteins, genes, and diseases. In previous project, we built network of biomedical information related to herbal medicine and developed multidimensional analysis tools exploiting those relationship between data. However the previous system is not capable of building network of traditional medical knowledge of herbal medicine and analyzing it. In this paper, therefore, we aimed to expand the previous system by adopting traditional Korean medical knowledge. In order to design the expanded system, we analyzed the process of building network and user interfaces of the previous system as well as the database schema related to herbal medicine in traditional Korean medicine information portal (OASIS). The expanded system has two sided view of network. In the left side of view, there is traditional medical knowledge based network which is composed of herbal medicine, herbal prescription, efficacy, and target and provides links to the web contents of papers, prescriptions, monographs, and specimen of OASIS. The expanded K-herb network multidimensional analysis system by connecting traditional medical knowledge will be a useful network analysis tool to researchers in the traditional medical and biomedical area.

        한약 자원 정보 검색 시스템 구축

        People's interest in using Korean medicine and herbal medicine has increased. In order to promote the stable use of medicinal herbs and prepare for the effectuation of the Nagoya protocol, we developed a system to search for specialized information on 478 medicinal herbs. 58 databases have been established based on the medicines issued by the Food and Drug Administration. It contains nine major items including the “Name”, “Medicinal property”, “Origin”, “Distinction”, “Physico-chemistry”, “In vivo & In vitro”, “Clinical application”, “Production and processing”, and “Patent”. The schema is designed to search for information. And we developed a search system for use in the OASIS. Administrator pages for modification and management of database are developed and operated separately. The findings of this study allow for easier navigation of proven professional information. In response to the effectuation of the Nagoya Protocol, each country needs to secure a database of biological resources. Thus, it is considered that it will serve as a foundation for the construction of data for the national economy.

      • 한의학술논문 데이터베이스 구축을 위한 입력 및 검수 시스템 개발

        Objectives : KIOM(Korean Institute of Oriental Medicine) built up korean medical paper database and services it through information portal OASIS. The database are updated about 1,600 papers and 48,000 references annually. Because lots of manpower and time are needed to update database, it is very important to raise up efficiency and quality of it. Methods : In this paper, we implemented web based database building system utilizing pre-built OASIS' database to improve the working process, data quality and ease of management. Results : First we designed and implemented web based system to input bibliography of the paper efficiently. It raised efficiency using OASIS' paper and reference database. Second we improved the refining process using web based system to raise up data quality. And third we developed the manager functions of web based system to control and check the working process. Conclusions : If we add korean medical dictionary and link outside paper database in the future, we hope that work efficiency and data quality will be raised more. And because the database schema of OASIS system and developed system are different, we are implementing the data transformation system.
