The purpose of this study was stability assesment of rail type for Emergency rescue system in road tunnel. This study conducted ABAQUS simulation and Mock-up test, field measurement to verify driving stability of Emergency rescue system. As a result, the deflection of the rail is 2.7mm at ABAQUS simulation and 7.0mm at field measurement. The deflection with ABAQUS simulation is 2.6 times less than the deflection measured in the field. The deflection of the rail for Emergency rescue system can lead to the driving stability and safety problems. Further study, it is necessary to ensure driving stability of the rail for Emergency rescue system.
